Our morel production is based on the weather not how you pick or carry them out. Stop worrying and start picking them 💪😎

I agree about the weather, and with the rest if you are lucky enough to have an area of such dependable and productive mycelium and sclerotia that an annual harvest is usually assured. But each year is so different around here I like to add a bit of ritual, even if may have little to no effect.

Some people say armadillos don’t eat them but I’m just about positive they do. Where I used to find most of my morels is now tore up by the armadillos. Although I haven’t personally seen one eating them the evidence is enough for a conviction in my book. Good luck out there👍🇺🇸

I agree. I read about their diet and they eat just about anything they find in moist soil. And even if they don't eat them they destroy the morel habitat, just like you describe. Happy (and fruitful) hunting!
