When I was around 2/3 years old, my mom put my cousin and I in a jacuzzi tub because we wanted to go swimming when it was cold out. When she put us in there, she didn’t know how to operate the tub and she turned on the jets before filling it with water while we were in the tub, and the jets came shooting out. I was really scared of jets for YEARS because of this incident. I wouldn’t go near hot tubs or jetted bath tubs for years. It was only when I was like 13 ish when I finally went into a hot tub for the first time. Now I love them!
I have a small hot tub, with one pin jet, and 8 massage jets. My wife doesn't like any jets, so she closes all the massage jets. I've recently been experiencing the split nuts on the heater breaking, and am wondering if the pressure is building up too much. So, simply, is it OK to close all the jets? Thanks for the video.
Broke the cap off of one of my jets when I was tightening it. Came here to see if there's information on whether or not you can cap a jet off temporarily so I can still use the tub. I didn't know if that's okay to do considering mine has water and air injection. I'm afraid water will be injected into the air line. I guess this is the wrong kind of video.
great video, I have a question on removing a jet. Im trying to remove a 2" waterway jet. I turned it counter clockwise until it shut off and then a bit more. it will not come off. I tried on the jet next to it and it came off. I twisted the jet back to the right and then to the left and its really tight and will not come off. Any thoughts?
try when its empty with a rubber sheet to get a good grip, likely calcium build up or some other cause. worst case pliers but it will likely break if it comes to that.
