Get well Oreo, when mine lost control in its rear legs, it was because of old age and she died shortly after, but at least she survived stroke and I was giving her pain medicine and fed her by hand until the end, when she just crawled back to her favorite spot and sleep there forever :(

Just a little share but I just lost my Cheese 2 days ago who looks exactly like your Oreo, Cheese was 1 year and 8 months old and she also got her hind legs immobile on the last day, I took her to the vet and brought her home to feed her the favorite food, she passed away on my mom's hand after a long day fighting so hard. I was devastated and looking at Oreo brings tears to my eyes, I hope he will get better soon, Cheese will bless him don't worry.
When my hamsters don't feel well, I try to make their cages as easy to navigate as possible. I put their water super close to their food and their nest so they don't need to travel far to get what they need. I sometimes even lay out multiple bowls of food so if they decide to burrow elsewhere, they aren't far from sustenance. I usually also flatten things out and remove unnecessary obstacles to make it easy for them to walk. I really hope Oreo gets better, and I'm sure he knows how loved he is.
I love how curious and bold your hamsters are. That's a real strong sign that they're treated wonderfully. Most pet hamsters I've seen are shy and cautious when things are being moved around.
Can’t they be treated wonderfully and still be shy? Cause that’s both of my hamsters 😂 they’re spoiled but still rather be aloof like little cats. They just want food from me
I have hamsters here are some tips , check there teeth if it's orange there are healthy and if it's fur is messy it's a stress sign so make it feel like home to get the stress away and then check it's teeth
Hi. Have you tried nutritional yeast for these symptoms in hamsters? It is rich in B vitamins which are supposed to keep the neurological system in good shape. I have tried with my rat who has issues with his hind paws and his moves have improved a lot. I give him as much as he wants and make sure he eats at least a bit every day. B vitamins are produced by bacteria, so this could be the reason why, as the soil must have more bacteria than purified bedding. If so, the yeast may really help. Natural supplementation, like the yeast or simply bacteria from the soil, is always better than artificially produced. The latter rarely works...
He might build a new nest because he feels his food is not safe. If you take out his collected food, please put the same amount back in (or just leave it in, if it looks clean), otherwise the hamster will get stressed :)
저 예전에 펄햄스터 키울때 애가 벌벌떨고 발작보이고 이상하게 걷고 밥을 못먹고 그랬어요.. 증세가 점섬심해지다가 나중엔 기운없이 집에 누워서 달달 떨기만 하고 돌아다니지도 못했는데 결국 해씨별 갔네요.. ㅜ.ㅜ (병원에선 유전병인 것 같다고 해서 딱히 손쓰지 못했어요..)

Hamsters are so cute. They stay cute even when they are full grown. I love them so much. 🥰

레오가 많이 아프니 맘이 아프네요.. 케이지 갈아주실때 일반케이지에 혹여 날카로울 수 있는 톱밥보단 순한베딩쪽으로 다리에 조금이라도 무리없는 걸로 편히 깔아주시고 하루 1-3분 정도 다리 마사지라도 해주시면 어떨까싶어요~~ 칼슘 챙길 수 있는 간식도 많이 챙겨주세요😭

구충은 했는지? 분변검사 했는지?
초음파 하면 혹 같은게 생기는경우 많다하고
근데 햄찌 전용 병원도 적고. 햄찌들은 아픈것 원인 모르는 경우 많고, (조그만것에도 스트레스 쉽게받는데 각종검사로 햄찌를 더힘들게하나?..
검사해도 어차피 원인도 못찾을텐데 하는 생각도 들고..)
혹 원인 안다해도 따로 해줄게 없어서..
햄토피아 등 에서 햄찌용 비타시럽, 햄찌 유산균 등 먹여보세요.
소화잘되는 햄찌이유식 같은것 물에타서 죽처럼 주는것도 있던데..

야생 환경에서 햄스터를 키우면 좀더 건강한가요? 저도 따라서 환경 조성 해보고 싶은데, 어떨지 모르겠네요. 혹시 냄새는 안나나요? 자연 분해 되서 오히려 냄새가 안날라나요? 댓글좀 부탁 드립니다.
좀더 건강한지는 모르겠습니다 비만은 확실히 방지되고 생활패턴도 일정한것 같습니다. 다만 베딩에 키우는 블루라는 햄스터도 너무 건강합니다. 그래서 흙에 키우는것이 더 발전된 사육 방식이라고는 말씀드릴수가 없네요
추가로 냄새는 그냥 흙냄새납니다
