YUP! Imagine 5-8 additional minutes, per load... multiply that by loads per day/week.... By that many loads per month... By that many loads per year! That's a HUGE amount of energy annually that's not only wasted, YOU'RE PAYING FOR IT! A dryer runs on a 220V, 30 AMP circuit! When it's running, your bank account is decreasing!!! Thanks, ODAA! I appreciate you watching as well as your thoughts! You've commented on many of my videos, and you bring great knowledge to the conversation!

Man there are WAYYYY prettier in the Charlotte, NC area... I'm not in the market to spend $20K under my house though! Unfortunately, crawl space encapsulation is a bad idea in MOST cases in my opinion... I can go further into detail if you or anyone else wants my opinion... Thx for watching!!!!
Yeah, Dude you need to wear something more than a cloth mask! The dust AND THE CARBON MONOXIDE (from gas dryers) is gonna slowly KILL YOU! You’re young now but all that dust, lint, hair etc is gonna have a helluva an impact on your lungs in the future. Dust (like woodworking dust-very fine) goes right through that cloth mask you’re wearing.
Yea, the crawl was in great shape man! Not sure where you are however crawl space or foundation companies are doing GREAT in southern NC! And homeowners are paying DEARLY for that beauty!
Thank you. When we are told to "clean a vent" the variables you are bringing up are things to be aware of. These people likely struggled with "dryers that wouldn't dry the clothes well", maybe bought machines or part after part, without resolution.
Yup! Honestly, it could use a foundation well to provide a bit more clearance. There were multiple issues with the vent however they think they got a new dryer now! Thanks for watching Jason!
dude i'm sneezing just watching this XD could you provide a link to your products? i would love to have one of those extensions for my drill. i can tell you that our vent hasnt been cleaned in atleast 5 years, and watching this makes me just want to do it, instead of wating for the Landlord
Check out www.nikro.com and look through their selections... I'm working on production of my own cleaning brushes currently however it's showing to be a difficult task! Hit me up with any questions you may have Legend! I appreciate you watching my friend!
Probably one of the dirtiest we have ever cleaned. Steve and I worked together for over 13 years. I thought we have seen about everything, but today we saw something that we must do a video on. Stay tuned.
An old school Whirlpool! They were work horses and don't have all the electronic components... They don't make them like they use to is 100% accurate on this one!!!
It’s funny… They’re either crazy surprised or act like it’s no big deal… Honestly, I enjoy seeing their reactions regardless. Kinda lets me know what kind of customer they are… LOL! Thx for watching!
Because it was a 2-story home with the dryer in middle of house on first floor... That's the issue in the Southeast... We stopped putting our dryers on an exterior wall.
Oh it wasn't drying! When you have zero airflow, you're actually baking your clothes instead of drying them! Thx for watching and for commenting! I greatly appreciate it!
HAHAHAHAHAHA, I could barely breathe, and the cameras were COVERED and wouldn't focus.... That one was insane! But, like I told your previously, I promise to get better, lol!!! I need training on camera angles fo sho!
Why? The air and lint would've blown the tarp up normally... Plus, the tarp is "slick" and it would've spread the lint farther vs the rough mulch that will help contain... IDK but I'm always up for suggestions!
You know, I was thinking that the other day! I swear I have the best followers! Honestly, it's humbling that so many have reached out with safety concerns, and they feel absolutely genuine... I truly thank you all and great advice!
Dear Lord....... that was satisfying... imagine how many loads dried over the years that took much longer than it had to :(

Coffee break in England, and I'm sitting watching someone clear a tumble dryer vent in America. As good as watching drain cleaners in Australia 🤣
HAHAHAHA! Enjoy your coffee!!!!!
Penetrator ? Storm drains & roots ..iv given way too much time of my life to these videos
@@sharandkayla HAHAHAHA!!!! Well I appreciate ya!
DRAIN ADDICT!!!
I also watch driveway/sidewalk pressure washing in England, in addition to the Drain Cleaning and Mowing in Australia. Lol
That is the cleanest crawl space I’ve ever seen

Shout out to who ever set the crawl space up under the house. I don't think I've ever seen one so neat.
Preventing house fires one cleaning at a time. Great job !
Thanks Mike!
Wow that crawl space, and the lint :0

I’m fortunate that my dryer and vent are on an outside wall. I only have about a 4 inch exhaust hose. But, I inspect it regularly.
That was crazy insane and so dangerous
ABSOLUTELY!
Thank you. When we are told to "clean a vent" the variables you are bringing up are things to be aware of. These people likely struggled with "dryers that wouldn't dry the clothes well", maybe bought machines or part after part, without resolution.
It's become the American way, just buy a new one rather than figure out the real problem.
that's a major fire hazard 🔥
You have really good videos but can you start showing all the lint you vacuum up 🙏🏽
I'll work that into the mix! Thx for your thoughts!!!
Nice to see that Fort Mill mask! We're in Savannah now but raised our kids in Fort Mill!
Oh, how "The Mill" has changed! I love this area however I'm jealous of your current location!!! Thanks for watching and noticing!!!
OH DANG! That was just....wow
Agreed!!!!
Why on earth is the dryer sooo far from the vent in the first place? That's crazy!
Because we stopped caring about functionality and went to pretty when building homes… Makes no sense, AHHHHH!!!
Holy! Great work!
Indeed!
Was there absolutely no other closer place to vent this dryer??? Wow…you had a long crawl!
That is just crazy!!
Plus the dryer vent is way to low to the ground also

I like your videos! I hope you show the home owners what comes out of their vents 😳
I agree…I always wish we could see the home owners’ reactions! 😮

What kind of dryer actually dries the laundry through all that lint?

What kind of response do you usually get when the home owner sees the results of your cleaning?
It’s funny… They’re either crazy surprised or act like it’s no big deal… Honestly, I enjoy seeing their reactions regardless. Kinda lets me know what kind of customer they are… LOL! Thx for watching!
You hit the mother lode! I've run into a few of those.
That one just kept giving Bob, lol! Definitely was a gem!
@advsLLC that's enough material to make 20 pairs of pants, 30 shirts and 50 pairs of socks! 😁
WOW!
Amazing
Was this the worst one you've done? It sure is bad.
Honestly, it isn't the worst one however it's 100% in my top 10! I don't come across ones this bad often! Thx for watching!!!
Can you use anything to clean out the vent to the dryer?
Are you talking about cleaning inside the actual dryer? Like under the lint trap?
How could they not have set the pipe with a shorter path?
Agreed my friend! On the other hand, 27 years of zero maintenance equals this!
It's a miracle their house didn't burn to the ground .
I live in Japan and my house doesn't have dryer vent, but have to check out other vents or pipes...
Why wouldn't the vent go up through the roof or directly through the wall rather than all the way down to the basement?
Because it was a 2-story home with the dryer in middle of house on first floor... That's the issue in the Southeast... We stopped putting our dryers on an exterior wall.
It was surprising there wasn't a fire.
How often do you have to replace the brushes?
A brush head will last around 3 months and the cable works well for about a year. Thx for watching!
I think an entire sheep just come out of that.
YEA BUDDY!!! Fuzzy gold!
All that in 25 years.... It is like the owners didn't even use a lint screen at all.
I just feel like their “dryer” had to have quit drying 20 years ago. How on earth did it ever dry anything?!!!
Oh it wasn't drying! When you have zero airflow, you're actually baking your clothes instead of drying them! Thx for watching and for commenting! I greatly appreciate it!
DANG MAN!
That's the longest vent pipe I've ever seen. Gross stuff.
True that!
😮😮😮😮???!!!; all this in that vent
Do you ever show the homeownerwhat came out of their dryer ventand explain what a fire hazard that is
You didn’t let us see you vacuum it up

Should have put a tarp done.
Why? The air and lint would've blown the tarp up normally... Plus, the tarp is "slick" and it would've spread the lint farther vs the rough mulch that will help contain... IDK but I'm always up for suggestions!
How have they not had a fire?
No clue!!! And the lint was dry as can be! Normally, with that much lint, it's soaking wet.... Who knows!
You really should cover your ears also, you can get impacted stuff in them, down the road...
