Colossi are tall, but 300 meters is really, really freaking high up there - taller than most of the world's skyscrapers. Godzilla is less than half that height. That said, 300 meters would be very low altitude for most aircraft, and the AA vulnerability thing is primarily for game balance.

Void Rays are massive near the in-game scale. And a single marine can take a down a carrier... when it wouldn't. Remember Raynor and Tychus having a firefight INSIDE the Bucephalus from "Junior" Mengsk on story campaign.

No they weren't. In medieval times people were smaller because of a bad diet that didn't include enough healthy products. High neolithic humans prove to be pretty much the same size as modern homo sapiens.
I can't remember the names of the other two arkships off the top of my head, but they should be around the same size, since they were all built with the same functionality in mind (a ship that can support an entire civilization in the end times).
If the Protoss is this freaking tall, I guess the "Human" in Blizzard Universe are not the real world Human. For real, in Warcraft, the Orcs are even bigger and bulkier than the Protoss, yet in "Mists of Pandaria Cinematic Trailer", a "Human" could go toe to toe with an Orc. And, we have seen these "Human" in many artworks before. A regular peasant or citizen of Blizzard could be as strong as the real world professional body builder.
You are absolutely correct. Another example would be World of Warcraft the movie. The humans in the film could never look as cool as in any game trailers or cinematics. Actual humans are just too small and thin.
