- Опубліковано 6 жов 2024
- A preview of the new Casio F-91WB, which has a minimalist design. The face design has been stripped back with the coloured borders and lines with only the remaining text being printed in a single colour. The F-91WB will initially be available in 4 different variants: F-91WB-8A (black with gold text), F-91WB-1A (black with white text), F-91WB-2A (blue) and F-91WB-7A (white). The case and faceplate material remains unchanged but the straps will now use biomass plastic.

I'm a simple man: I see Casio content, I click like
always wanted an official minimalist F91..so glad they finally did it!
Yay! No negative display!
Negative display is a negative feature!
@@rajsekhar4766 Except if it is combined with the "Illuminator" type lighting. Or, at least it is great at night. During daylight negative display is much harder to read, I admit.
@@Cuccos19 Yeah, big blunder when casio put out ca 53 with negative displays. Its already small display with no backlight made it an awful watch for both day and night.
I want them to make one that has a negative display but that the numbers are always lit up with a green or orange color, that's would look insanely cool at night, I don't know if that would make the batteries last way less though, maybe it's possible
Finally... a white F91
I love what Casio has done with this iconic watch. This really brings a lot of refinment to a simple watch that has been around for a long time. I know everyone loves the retro design of the original F-91 but the new design looks absolutely perfect for this watch. One of the things I love about Casio is they constantly show the consumer they listen to their fans.
@@BosunM8James It is good that they have refreshed an old model to offer more choices.
Thank you very much for bringing this news. I want to buy all three models, unfortunately it will probably be some time before we can buy them here in Denmark. This is made another huge success for Casio.
It’s hard to resist when they keep making watches we want but probably don’t actually need. Still at least they should hopefully cost under €30 by the time they reach the E.U.
*_I just got this yesterday and I'm so happy. My 2nd Casio watch (1st was G-Shock)._*
All it needs is a better back light then it would be the perfect watch!
F105w would be the model youre referring to. It uses electroluminescence.
@@robest334 but they don't make them in cool colors... so annoying...
I have both the regular one and a matte silver one. Both new, the silver one backlight is wayyy better. It seems that the more expensive versions do have upgrades.,
I feel the original one has character especially with that blue outline
Can’t wait for the USA drop
Do we know when this is?
The F-91wb 7A in white looks amazing
‘Minimalist’ ones look good in isolation, but I prefer the ‘regular ones’ when I look at them next to each other.
I think the lack of colored stripes make the space look a bit empty. I think it visually makes the digital display look small because it's swamped by the blank bezel
Thank you so much for this video! I will go for the black version and details in white. Hopefully will be available on Casio’s website in Mexico or Amazon USA very soon cause I think it looks pretty awesome!
Was about to buy an f91w but I guess I'll wait for these to reach the US.
I think the lack of colored stripes make the space look a bit empty, and it visually makes the digital display look small because it's swamped by the blank bezel. I feel like they should have included at least one contrast stripe of white or black (depending on the bezel color) to break up the visual space
I was wondering if the display was smaller than a regular F91. We’ll have to wait to compare.
Something to look forward to ❤ wow thanks for the breaker!
ill get the black with golden text
awesome 😮
Put countdown timer to this and I will buy 10 of them.
Dooes it have a stopwatch?
Hopefully that will be an upgrade on the backlight.........
the monochrome b/w for me. waiting for US release!
Looks good
Wow, that's sick 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Soy un tío minimalista y extraño, quiero uno
Looks modern
I’ll have to get the white model 😎
next they should upgrade the backlight wich is a big drawback (together with the fragile wirst band, the résine one ).
Gorgeous. Just gorgeous! Especially the white version. Does anyone know when it will be released in the UK?
@@Muther.Fluffer It was was released in Japan last week, but now it is on the Casio international website. I’m hoping that it will be within the next 2 weeks.
@@wristaction Many thanks for the reply. Will defo get the white and black versions. My birthday is coming up so will be dropping hints 😁😁
i like it :)
Very nice ..I still say casio should make this into a 39mm as well they would do very well having a bigger variant option ... You can easily swim with these shower etc...
I wish they upgraded the led display. The original one is barely legible in low light condition.
0:54 Seeing these four new colors, I want to collect them all.
I'm grabbing all four!
the white one looks really good! But I think it will yellow as time goes on, so I would rather buy the beige one (2:30) so it will be already yellow lol.
it certainly will, as many other white casio watches, but it does look good, and would be priced well, so i don't really think it's that big of a problem, i personally looking forward to buying that one if it will make it to my country market.
I‘m still looking for the beige F-91WC… :(
And one thing is clear: When these four WB will come to Europe- count me in. :)
Wil they make F-105 just like this ?
when it released?
эмм.. разве белой модели раньше не было? только там ремешок прозрачный. на озоне очень популярна данная модель.
......i don't like this clean design without the frame and little writing. How is the backlight now?
The truest minimalist would always ever be only F14.
3:46 I'm gonna guess that we're gonna have to wait a few months till these new variants will be available worldwide.
All 4 varieties are available in Europe as of August 1st.
Amazing. Do you know for which country is currently available? I didn't find it in Europe.
Not released yet.
Price is out of the map for what it is and its parent.
F91 simple with those annoying graphics 80's toy = 20 Euro (almost doubled)
F91 coloured especially the black = 30 Euro wasted.
compare other options as A700 series around 40, but at least you get a very refined watch with effective back-light an some increase in comfort.
but most of all look at the real competitor
W-202 variants especially the LW-204-1B same super comfortable light package, has lot more to offer: W202 is 30euro and LW204 is 35 but flush, countdown, 50m and blinking alarm...
another alternative at same price of F91 regular is the F201 loaded with functions and same water resistance.
Here in US we have Daiso (Japanese confectionary store). They sell essentially the rip off alternative called the ‘Blue Planet’ for about $4. It’s the same watch yall.. save a few bucks
@@tylerfukuda I just looked up that watch and it does look like the F91 alright.
Oh wow white f91? 😂 brilliant
When is it coming cout in the market any idea?
When will it release?
They should "minimize" all of their digital watches. They look much more aesthetically pleasing. Although I wouldn't buy a white and a blue one, I welcome a broader choice of colors. They should make even more colors. A navy blue would be my pick, or maybe a dark brown. Ladies would probably enjoy a bright red, pink or orange. I mean, the more the merrier...
hope thay also upgrade the light, the light of the original F-91 is suck.
It has the same module inside which most likely means that it has the same light.
It’s the reason why I would buy a higher priced model like the A168 or A700 (oops edit). I would buy one of the variants of the F-91 if it had a proper light.
@@davidrhodes9997 Yeah I missed the part he mentioned about the light, it's still suck 🥲
Would the bio based strap be more durable than the previous straps? My old F91s watch strap keeps breaking.
@@Dinrad360 It’s too soon to tell. The first time that I know of Casio using a bio based resin strap was on the LF-20W last year. I can say though that it feels very supple and comfortable.
Doesn't it mean it's not F-91 anymore? I think they've changed numbers for less, no?
What about the backlight? 😢
@@naforul not changed
@@wristaction many thanks for your reply 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
When will it launch?
@@Jorsn13 it has already been released in some areas. It will take a bit longer to launch in other areas of the world.
When does this drop in the US?
@@estebansamra7255 released in Japan later this month and the US soon after.
Hi. I just wanna know, Can you see the hr and mins digit in f-91w backlight in the dark?
@@Ash_4949 yes
@@wristaction I always used timex, G shocks and Analog watches. But I want something light when I work.
I always heard praises of F91w but didn't buy it cause they say you can't see time at night.
@@Ash_4949 the backlight is pretty bad, but you can just about read the time in the dark.
When will it be available globally?
Any idea?
@@weakprateek8977 I would expect towards the end of this month or in August.
@@wristaction Thank you, I am eagerly waiting for this one.
They didn't improve the light.....
Nothing beats that original, 80's design of F-91W! New version looks bad and bland. Also: new, "eco" case materials are just marketing BS.
They should definitely keep the original in production forever, IMHO. But I also like the new minimalist design as well. Everyone can find the right one. Or not, if does not like digital watches at all.
@@Cuccos19Original design is iconic. New one is definitely not for me. Same with new, minimal designs of G-Shocks - they are just bland. Casio become popular in the 80's and that time writings (and lines) were important part of Casio design. Same with other items made by different brands like Technics audio gear for example. Taking away these writings is like taking away part of that cool design and look. IMO, Casio would need to redesign whole watch look to get proper look. Not just take away writings.
from where I can buy this ?
Released soon.
In my personal opinion...most of the digital Casio & G-shock line up are have unbalance bezel to display ratio.
The bezel are thick, the display too small, the digit number even smaller...and the function symbol just like dots scatter inside it.
Thats make the young generation in their world full of slim bezel smartphone, smartTV, smartwatch & gadget...they look at it as their dad watch. And wearing your dad stuff and nostalgic value that they don't even relate, are not cool in their perspective.
Not all...but most of it.
They are potential buyers...but Casio need to think hard to get their attention.
I had a teenage daughter. And non of her friends that I know wear a Casio. Their parent does.
Go ahead take my $$$😢
