- DELICIOUS LOCAL FILIPINO SNACKS ALONG THE ROAD...
Yup, that is one perk of driving across the Philippines, being able to pull over and randomly eat! In this video, we start in Digos trying to find mango juice! At least... I thought it was mango juice! I ended up with what could be one of the smallest mangoes in the world. From there, we pass through North Cotabato and stop for some food and snacks in both Kidapawan and Midsayap. The road trip is relaxed, and we find our way to Cotabato City. We have a really cool project that we are supporting, and so it was time to get back on the road in the Philippines to go help.

Mga random filipino tao sa Davao na di namen alam or ng buong mundo na parang tau lang sila but more pala. I am humbled, you are becoming filipino na kulang na lang nanay at tatay mo ay pinoy. It's true what kumar said, 20 years ago you'll always hear pikit and midsayap in the news due to conflict. It's nice to see mindanao slowly fulfilling it's potential. Now you see fancy coffee and wine shops and a whole lotta jollibees!
I hope I get to visit Mindanao anytime soon. I’m from Quezon City and I feel like I’m missing a lot by just staying here. If only our country is equipped with a great train system… imagine the possibilities. Not a single filipino is far away from a fellow filipino, that’s the dream.
Saaaame! Imagine just boarding a train with a ticket to Mindanao. One of the things that discourages people to travel within the country is the expensive fare and the many transportation transfers, which is quite inconvenient if you have luggage.
Just not feasible to build a railway in parts of the Philippines because of maintaining it would outweigh the advantages, maybe a tunnel system with good drainage could be the way forward without ecological destruction, like the channel tunnel,

It’s been 16 years since i left Midsayap. Until now di pa ako nakabalik sa lugar na yan. Yes totoo yan nong early 2000s magulo jan sa banda Pikit maririnig mo talaga yong putukan. Makes me happy nakita ko yong lugar kung san ako lumaki.

You can only have real mango juice or shake if you do it yourself or you can ask the tindera to not add sugar or flavored sweetener, just pure mango. Crushed ice sometimes are not clean.

True it's easy to make and pure just by the right type of mango and you can add honey if it lacks sweetness ....that is homemade freshness
