@@Brandon-LSX @Iroc LSX lol I said the same thing, when goldstrand told me to use one! & not prowd to say, after not being able to find one to rent. I bought mine with intent of returning it even got a extr blade to use.. but I liked it so much I wanted to keep it, when i was done! even waited till the last min before my Girl said something & asked how oftend would i use it.. needless to say that blade been hanging up in my garage 20 years now..

Strongly suggest dressing up the cuts on the spindles, smoothing and rounding the edges. Sharp edges lend themselves to stress cracks. Looking good.

Nice choice I put z06 c5 c6 on my 91 firebird. My rear is a 4th gen with disk. 14 inch rotors. Took my old 3rd gen spindles cut them down and the cnc d my own brake caliper brackets. Waiting till the 6 piston z06 calipers are a little cheaper then planning on putting them on front to back. Even with c5 c6 calipers and only 2 piston. It is more then enough to stop my car in an instant. The 3rd gens are a pretty lite car. You will definitely feel a difference.

@@Brandon-LSX Still sweet. Like you I got an amazing deal on a full set of calipers. Was considering upping to Z51 but maybe these are good enough and I can avoid the extra cost of the brackets. Again, nice work bro. Ride is sweet.

Did you have to space out your rim, I'm looking to do this upgrade next?

Didn't have to space out rim everything fit perfectly. I do believe you need larger than 16inch rim to fit calipers though.
