Sure looks like Brightline hold true to the 'build it and they will come' concept. Fully agree Mark, transport integration is the key from the customer's perspective. The only downside I can see is the number of level crossings, which prevents the train from achieving max speed ( an important consideration for potential customers). Whilst I understand the cost of building over & underpasses for vehicles would be expensive, in the long term the benefits would outweigh the cost as I understand it is also a major rail freight line.
The Brightline suffers from the reputation of "deadliest railway in America" which is an unfortunate label. It really is a wonderful service and is much cheaper than true high speed rail. I forgot to mention that the train was completely full, which looks good for the future. I was in Las Vegas recently and Brightline West has definitely started construction/preparation.
