Watching from the Netherlands, I am exceedingly impressed with the superb trains and stations. Breathtaking! Keep up the excellent work, Brightline! Perhaps one day, Americans will have access to comprehensive rail travel in their country. Lastly, thank you for the enjoyable video.
I completely agree with you. I wish we had a much better transit system in America. Brightline is a great start. I’m glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 😊
I’ve read the Brightline three times from Orlando and would choose it again always keep a lookout on the website for specials. :). So relaxing with my e-book or napping
Thanks for the great video. It looks like it’s a great trip to Miami. FYI: the Brightline will never go to Cocoa Beach. It is slated to stop in Cocoa which is about 10 miles west of Cocoa Beach
I have an upcoming work trip to FLL and I’m thinking about taking the Brightline from FLL to Orlando as I have a few extra days for myself. Did you have to pay extra for that Minnie Mouse suitcase? It looks similar sized to the suitcase I am planning on taking.
No, we didn't pay extra for it. Premium can also get their first checked bag free, but no one told us we needed to check it, so we assumed it wasn't oversized, so we carried it on and put it on the luggage rack in the train cart. Now, when we went our cart was mostly empty, but you shouldn't have to pay for it regardless of if you have to check it or not.
@@peterberrett181 That's what I meant you can have access to the lounge at your arrival gate before you get on the train but not after you get off the train. Sorry for the confusion
Economy/smart class is fine enough for me and I could take my own snacks but maybe once more I’ll treat myself to premium. I found a several specials online for smart class on for $39 and one for $22 all the way from Orlando to Miami !
When you book premium you can select your seating. There is a seating chart on their website and you can see which seats have a table. The rest of the seats would have a dropdown table in front of them.
Sorry I am just now responding to you. The price in the video was one way to Miami for premium and paid the same price for premium a week later going back to Orlando
Oh, very easy. It's about maybe a 10-minute drive or less from the train station to the Miami Cruise Port. We got an Uber right outside the train station and with just about a mile and a half to two miles down the road the Uber wasn't expensive.
I took the train from Orlando to Miami. Not Premium seating though. But honestly? Not much difference on the seats. Now, the combo sandwich is quite expensive. But I would ride it again ( I will just eat first🙄🙄🙄
Briteline doesn’t issue refunds and you can only modify or receive a credit on premium seats so make sure of your dates before you purchase this is terrible!
I was under the impression this was all privately funded? Its a highly traveled route by air so it was just and its working. Its a good 4 hour drive by car, I'd rather sit back and enjoy someone else drive.

I went from Orlando to Miami in one day i really enjoyed it and I will definitely do it again
Yes, same here!
Thanks for the video. It looks pretty nice. I may take a ride on it soon.
Brightline is great , Brightline is the future of Florida
I've rode on the Brightline from Orlando to Miami a few times will do it many more
i can’t wait to ride down from Orlando , i’m watching videos to get a feel for it
great video, this was exactly what many people want to see. Seeing the cars and perks of the premium price.
Thank you I hope it was helpful for you
Thank you for making this video!!!
You are welcome
I loved it!
Are the seats in the cheaper area the same just not as big correct ? Do you k own if they have tables as well?
I'm going to start my own passinger railroad

I meant to write I’ve ridden the Brightline not I’ve read.
Yes, I love it! That’s the only way I’m getting to Miami now.
That’s on my bucket list
"Thank you, Vanna!" 😂😂😂 thank you for the video!
😂 You are welcome
How good is the wifi speed. I will have a video conference with my Dr while I'm on the train 24 October 2024. Please let me know.
I’m so sorry for my delayed response. I didn’t have any zoom calls while on the train, but I did stream a tv show and didn’t have any issues.
I hate the train wraps that block the view and I have complained to Brightline. Thanks for a great video❤
Thanks for the great video. It looks like it’s a great trip to Miami. FYI: the Brightline will never go to Cocoa Beach. It is slated to stop in Cocoa which is about 10 miles west of Cocoa Beach
Thanks for that. That may have been what I heard and just said Cocoa Beach. I always think of Cocoa Beach when I hear Cocoa. Thank you!

@@tpstravels Thanks! I am considering the Smart fare. I'll have to double check my bag dimensions, but I think it should be ok.
Does the premium ticket offer access to the lounges at both the departure and arrival stations?
No, I believe it is just your arrival destination as you have to scan your ticket to get in.
@@tpstravels That's weird. With airlines you get access to the lounge before you fly but not after.

Yea I agree I could take either myself they are both great and you can find some good deals on both smart and premium.
How can you a seat with table for computer?

If my underage son and myself purchase premium, is he allowed in the lounge with me also?
@@billd3569 yes, the lounge isn’t age restricted , but they do have drinks in there for people 21 and over.

How do they automatically assign seats???? They went effectively March 19th.
We picked our seats when we booked
@tpstravels Do they let you select seats???? The website doesn't select seats!!!!
@@jordandiaz3989 We were able to select our seats online when we booked our trip.

@@tpstravels Thank you!!!
I’m surprised they don’t have interstate travel and travel from like New York to Orlando or Chicago to Orlando. Like on trains. High speed trains
I know! That would be so nice!

I just checked premium tickets and it says one alcoholic drink included..... Is it just one drink per person?
Oh gosh I guess they may just changed it. We had 2 drinks a piece while on the train.
You also can have alcoholic drinks in the lounge area. I didn’t notice the limit there, but two is enough for me
@@enjoystraveling yep we had drinks in the lounge in Miami. Not sure either on the limit. I think I had 3 glasses though. 😂

You can get a refund in the form of credit if you cancel 30 minutes prior to your train departure.
Too expensive. Just need to get from one place to another.
What a waste of taxpayer funded grants. No sold out trains except opening week. Driving is way better.
Florida traffic is a nightmare. Train so much better

You’re correct - Brightline is privately funded.
