Change the the Tone chip. After I changed mine it has way better range & sound out of the tone pot. I use a spare chip from an ibanez rg I had laying around. Oh & beside that I put new set of Dragonfire pickups in it cause the old ones were a bit microphonic. Keep on keeping on brother 🍻
You're welcome! There are some videos out there, but yes information can be hard to come by so I thought it would be worthwhile uploading this. Did you also get a W2?
Nice job. I’ve been thinking about getting one of these, gutting it, and putting a set of fish man classic pickups in it. The stainless steel frets and 5 price neck actually fought my attention.
Hello, great video I just bought one of these guitars but I have some doubts: 4:16 What are those screws for? what adjustment do they make?, the same with 4:36, you just say loosen or tighten but you dont say what? thank you :)
I think they may be to move the position of the saddles forwards/backwards, I haven't tried it myself but those are the only screws that fit the extra allen keys provided.
First set action, then correct intonation. The brass saddles move in a circular motion and therefore not only up and down but also back and forth. It's a bit finicky but I kinda like that bridge
I think they move the individual saddles forwards/backwards, haven't tried it though as didn't need to mess with it further than what I did in the vid.
Wish there were more color options other than that im pretty sure i wanna own one of these next, itll play better than a travel guitar with a body the size of a box and no controls xD originally wanted the anygig travel guitar but im preferring this idea now
Did you finish the top veneer layer with oil or something similar? I have the Leo Jaymz version of this guitar and it’s basically a clone of what you have in this video. The butler maple veneer on mine seems unfinished, not sure if it’s worth getting some linseed oil to finish the wood.
one I got wouldnt go down at all. I even tried using a metal peg and hammer. Fit and finish was nice for a $300 guitar, pickups dont sound great. Returned it
Haven't had to do it yet but I would think it'd be quite intuitive?

why, oh why didnt they make the adjuster arm magnetic instead of the magnetic hole - now the adjusterarm can fall on to the floor and be gone for the rest of gig
Why not just buy a set of guitar adjustment tools, i.e., radius finders, and string height gauge? They are cheap and work way better. Also, those other bridge adjustments are very important to finding if you are intonated or not.
This would have been a decent video if not for the two instances of 'and this Allen key is used to loosen or tighten this part' right and that would be what exactly because you failed to mention either....I appreciate the effort but bit of a mistake here.
0:20 truss rod adjustment
1:40 saddle height adjustment
4:40 tuning
6:20 setting up the action

@@thedanksavatron7782 oh nice, I haven't had issues with mine, so I'm happy to keep it stock for now. Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for posting this, such a great guitar but EART needs to put a booklet or manual in the box with this guitar.

@@flailhead I did just a couple days ago in fact, I was considering getting the tremolo model but I'm glad I chose the fixed bridge first.
@@chrisrandall9813 awesome!
Hey thanks for the feedback on the saddle being stuck and needing a little push. Helped me out big time!
No worries, you're welcome!
Best Eart headless video I’ve found. Thank you!
Thank you for the kind words, glad it helped!
Incredibly helpful. Very kind of you to go through all this and so clearly too. Many thanks!
Pleasure! Glad it helped 👍
I love this guitar. Sounds even better now 😎 thanks for the upload

Yes you should definitely try it, I'm very happy with mine as is.

Thank you very much for making this video. This has been very helpful
You're welcome!
Excellent video and explanation! Mine didn't come with Allen Keys, do you happen to know the sizes so I can order new ones? Thanks you!
Thanks! Ah that's annoying, will measure them later today.
@@flailhead Thank you so much!
Appreciate the advice. However, did not hear what the screws at the back were for.

@@flailhead hey! Ingot the guitar yesterday, do have any idea how can i get more sustain out of it? I felt like its lacking sustain
@@diostaylow ah awesome, congrats! Is it on specific strings or fret positions?
@@flailhead im not really sure, but it felt more like the whole fret. any tips?
@@diostaylow maybe it needs a truss rod adjustment? Could be that the strings aren't getting enough clearance. I had to adjust mine slightly.
Love mine too the telecaster. I didn't know what the chrome thing was
Hi there, it’s me again, quick question, where do i adjust the intonation????? Thanks 😊
Hiya! I'm assuming that you would be aiming to move the saddles backwards or forwards, do any of the wrenches allow you to do that?
Did you finish the top veneer layer with oil or something similar? I have the Leo Jaymz version of this guitar and it’s basically a clone of what you have in this video. The butler maple veneer on mine seems unfinished, not sure if it’s worth getting some linseed oil to finish the wood.
Hiya, no this guitar is stock, I didn't add anything
Have you modded it at all? How do you make your guitars look cooler?
No it's completely unmodded. Which model have you got?
Great job with this, thanks!
You're welcome!
Love my Eart telecaster
Thanks for the video! This thing is awesome but is such a headache
Yep it's not the easiest. Thanks for watching!
Been hearing buzzing on one of my strings after I strum it as it came by itself, any ideas by the way?
Have you tried the setup tip I show in the vid? It helped me with buzzing while keeping action low
at 9:31 you say "this key fits here adjust it if you want, and this key goes hear adjust it if you want. What do those to screws adjust please
To be honest, I'm not 100% sure, I know they fit so they must be for those sections, possibly to adjust the intonation?
@@flailhead Thank you so much for the reply my friend. I meant nothing bad. The rest of the video was good stuff.
@@in3432 no offence taken 😊 just being honest that I'm not 100% sure that's all

Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you, personally I find the pickups fine, may change them in the future, etc.
Is there a way to get another tuning thing thats attached to the bridge?
You may have to buy the whole bridge www.amazon.co.uk/String-Headless-Guitar-Tailpiece-involved/dp/B075XQKXDW
Hi What bridge is it? What Brand or model
On the side it just says "Lisenced by KD Patent"
May be JD Moon (the brand name)
is there a spot to use a clip on tuner?
Haven't used a clip on tuner before so not sure I'm afraid.
No, there is not
clip it onto the tuner knob on the bridge. it works.
how do i restring this guitar?
Haven't had to do it yet but I would think it'd be quite intuitive?
why, oh why didnt they make the adjuster arm magnetic instead of the magnetic hole - now the adjusterarm can fall on to the floor and be gone for the rest of gig
Very good point
Oh whoops I didn't see the card thing at the end

I agree those tools are useful, just wanted to share that tip as I found it super useful especially on this guitar.

I did my best and these are my thoughts on the guitar, it's hard to know everything 100% when there is so little information out there on this model
@@flailhead Don't take it too bad, I still think it was a decent video and you did the best you could, as I say, information is appreciated by most.
