I love my EART GW2! I was blown away at how nice it was considering it cost me $389. Easily plays and sounds like a $1500 guitar. The frets were perfect as was the setup. The tone of the AlNiCo V magnet humbuckers is wonderful too. My ONLY complaint is it didn’t come with an EART gig bag and the EART gig bag is $60 on their website but the shipping is another $80! I plan on buying another EART GW2 so I will make sure I order 2 gig bags when I do. I own Gibson, Martin, and aluminium guitars and this EART plays just as good they do but it does so OUT OF THE BOX.
Thanks for commenting! I was really surprised by the quality of this guitar for the price and that ain't BS as you have experienced. I am by no means an expert on guitars but I know what I like & hear. This is my first headless guitar and it is a winner based on price, quality and playability. Good & bad - the style has changed and the price has gone up since I purchased mine. I agree that the gig bag is a bit of disappointment because of the shipping cost. OK that the gig bag didn't come with the guitar for the price I paid but come on man, ridiculous shipping cost. Thanks again for the comments and rock on!
OK ...I broke down and gave myself a birthday gift, taking the hit on the shipping charges. I will be posting brief, raw review of the gig bag shortly. Construction is decent and it did arrive within one week of ordering it.
Thank you for checking out the video and providing your comment. I hadn't seen any videos out there about changing the strings so decided to make one. Thank you again!
No, but measuring against the existing strings made it easy to make sure I didn't have too much or too little string. Thanks for checking it out the video!
@@kingrein5 Thanks man...and by the way, great video. I took my gw2 in black and I think it's just so fucking amazing, playing it I "feel" a lot of quality and attention to details. And compound profile/radius on the neck is so comfortable. Years ago having a guitar like this in this price range was not possible. I'm restringing too with lighter gauge and swapping pots with two push-push, I'll wire volume as phase inversion and tone as coil split. And that's it, fretjob is so good that with a minimum truss rod adjustment I already have a beautiful low action. Best deal of my last ten years, cheers
My only question is if you dont have a good frame of reference as when I first did it I messed up so I have no strings to actually base my lengths off of I was wondering if there was a solution for that. but this video is Great! an it helps a ton
Thanks for watching! You could try installing the strings and extend the non-ball end of the string about one inch beyond the spools. That should give you enough length to wind around the spools.

Hi, do strings have to be cut at a certain length?
No, but measuring against the existing strings made it easy to make sure I didn't have too much or too little string. Thanks for checking it out the video!
