How to Spool Braided Line on a Baitcaster. I go over my favorite way on how to spool braided line, and the way I was taught growing up. I have Shimano Calcutta Conquest DC 100 and DC 200HG reels. Shimano manual says NOT to put the line through the holes because there would be contact between the line and the inner spool support mechanism. The advise is to align the knot you tie over a hole in the spool.

When you put braid on a bait caster or spinning reel, do you always use a mono type leader or tie your lure to the braid? Thanks for the videos. Keep them coming.
