Sorry just to be clear, the Tavern template isnt 50 pages. Its more around the 15-20 page mark. I meant to change that on the intro and realize I’d forgotten!

hopefully you put out the tavern template to download beyond the box, I wish you well with it, but i don't need a $300 box of additional supplies in the near future.
It looked very Christmas-themed in the early build stages. The cork looked like gingerbread, and the straws looked like candy canes.
That stonework was pretty sweet Niel. I see what you mean though, and I look forward to how you're gonna alter it. Cant wait to start poking around this kit, lots of good stuff in there! Happy Holidays!

Just got my Builders Kit last night! Already built the base of the forge and hut, but I saw a couple issues. Part 21 is different from the guide, its too short and not wide enough, and then there are four parts labeled 2, that aren't on the guide! :(
Also, the digital template for the Tavern isn't on the page that the QR code leads to, it says "Builders-kit-tavern-template", but there isn't any way to download it.

By no means am I a professional, and even less so I wish to drop a boulder in the pond in any way, to disturb peace, and statusquo of the health and well-being of your wife.
But:
My Mom, a doctor, 65 this year, retired officially this year had major pain, and huge problems with her back for some time, when it turned out, that she got lung cancer, which has given metastasis to her bones, and mainly her vertebrae.
Her lumbar 1 and 3 got chewed up by the cancer to the state that these 2 verts collapsed on themselves.
This collapse was the last drop in the glass of patience, and excruciating pain induced the long line of examinations, which resulted the diagnose.
She worked through all the pandemic time with ever sonslightly increqsing pain, and the system here did not let her take a day off to visit a professional colleague, but that is the shameful state of healthcare system in Hungary.. belonging to another page..
What I am saying:
A pain which never seems to be getting better, just sightly less worse for a short period of time should have been a warning sign for us, for my Mum, but this is just a wisdom of hindsight.
I do not want to speak of the devil, and none of my business to advise you to go to every possible corners of a question - you already may have - but now we are facing a time that this xmas may be our last one together..
And if even if a dim light of hope is given to someone else to get better by raising awareness how sneaky this can be, then I find a bit of peace for myself too

You didn't have to remove the stone from the upper part of the structure, and by the way Neil have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and to your family, relatives and friends. I always enjoy the videos that you do and hope to see oodles of them in the coming year!!!

Awesome as always! Templates are awesome! I'll be honest though, I have 2 printers in my house and neither of them are 2d ink/laser printers haha. Funny world we live in nowadays.

Is there an option to buy just the template or other templates you have/will make? I’m not in need of the full kit right now (not to say that will change, but I am pretty well stocked at to mo’!) but would like to still support and buy a blueprint like this. It’s one thing I’m missing in my building attempts is….good plans is something I am very poor at making but that template seems great!

This is a very cool use of CAD. I’m very ambivalent about 3D printing etc because I hate computers replacing all forms of human interaction. I like the tactile aspect of this kind of hobby.
Funny, everyone I know is talking about how everyone hates everyone else. Even retail clerks treat you like garbage and brag about it. At least this week we learned it’s not all out fault, the US government is manipulated everyone 😂.

Love that your using a natural material for the stones! Agree with you that the second level needs to be different otherwise it’s too much stone.
Would be cool if the kit included a downloadable file for a cutting machine like Cricut instead of paper templates you have to manually cut out. That's just me being lazy. Lol. But for reals though. Your videos are what have helped getting me into this hobby. Love building and printing terrain and buildings. Thanks for what you do. 🤘👍

i think these days, with how much more media people consume, how much more people are exposed to each other through social media, its become so easy to spread hate.
Its almost the norm now to just be pessimistic and angry.

maybe you're right, the upper floor is hanging over too far for it being stone and everything... I felt sorry you had to cut it out, though. I also noticed you did it carefully, maybe we will see the wall pieces in another project one day? never throw away what could be used for a build. :D

I want to say thank you. I love your channel. You can always tell how much work, dedication and love goes into the videos (both the video and the actual builds). To me it’s really fascinating to see the process how you can turn so much of daily stuff or packaging among other things into art. It’s so creative and your builds always turn out great. And now your magic has found it‘s way into my living room where I will hopefully make just as great builds :)

This is an odd request but could you show us what you do for storage of supplies? Especially the materials. Like cardboard, foam, wood, ect. I'm very curious how you store all of the flocking and other stuff because I am out of ideas and have stuff everywhere...

Before you decided to scrap the second floor, having the building be mostly made of stone did look like it could be something else than an inn. I had strong vibes of a police station of some sort, maybe the head quarters for the city guard, the place where they gather for administartive stuff and process arrests before sending people to gaol.

About milliput - if you mix a little playdoh into it, it becomes softer and it makes it a lot easier to sculpt details like those hinges - would probably work best if you sculpted them directly on the door. It does make curing slower, but it still cures hard.
I'm almost finished up with recreating your original version of the tavern, and now I'm super intrigued by the all stonework version. Are there any recommendations you would make for making the stone version playable like the original tavern?
