*_That's a great kit. Did you mention it's a "Limited Edition" or did you mention once sold out, it will be reprinted/assembled for sale at a later date?_*
*_Do not use cotton. Cotton is very flammable. Take material from a synthetic pillow, the type you sleep on, and use that material. It should not burn, I am sure some do, but most modern ones are made of "anti-flammable material". It also looks more like smoke than cotton can on it's best day._*
*_Another things that is anti-flammable is foam bed mattresses. Sure, some are not, I understand this may vary from country to country._*
*_Here's a crafting tip: if you are throwing out an old foam mattress, don't, make foliage for wargaming out of it. Use an old blender and make small chunks of the foam mattress to desired size, add paint in the color of leaves you want-work the paint in with your hands. 1 single sized mattress should give foliage for hundreds of trees._*

Not sure how far ahead you've planned this but having expansion kits would be cool! Since you get a lot of the essential tools here already, the expansions can just have the laser cut parts and consumables like the scenic grasses, flocking and maybe different set of paints depending on the model :)
He could totally work with other diorama/terrain/creator youtubers like boylei or jazza or whoever and the expansion kits could be labeled as such. Would probably bring followers from other youtubers on top of their fans.
Would be very cool to see what Nerdforge and Tabletop time would do with this!
Studson could make a really cool dragon out of that :)

As someone who has been in the hobby for ages I can honestly say you threw in everything but the kitchen sink. This is a PERFECT starting point and better than any other I have seen.
I’ve been watching you and various terrain artists for maybe 2-3 years now and never had the time/guts to put together a beginner set.

So rare to see genuine quality in bundles, but this is an excellent collection of options here. Quality where quality is needed, no corners cut, and as someone who has been putting together this collection of tools and materials... I could've saved a lot of money on bad tools and trips to the hardware store. This is a good box!

I love watching your videos. I stay in awe thinking I couldn’t ever make something come alive like THAT. I’m 28 and can’t draw a straight line lol My dad loves making the warships/model cars or will woodwork decorations for the yard. I also love my dad so I can’t wait to buy this for Christmas so we can do it together. It might be a mess. Might turn out completely wrong but I know it’s gonna be a blast getting there together. Awww, I miss my dad and wished we did more stuff like this together. He build model planes with balsa wood and tissue paper, helped me with my school dioramas, and that helped ignite my love of miniatures. But more of a dollhouse variety. Still like this for the supplies, the terrain, paints, and that Cutting Board!!

I'm so excited for this. I do painting and sculpting for so long now and mostly making art dolls recently, but I've watched so many diorama and tarrain making lately and really wanted to try that out, too. Getting such an opportunity to start with this is so amazing! Can't wait to get it!

In regards to the weathering pigment I'd say personally stay with the black one, especially for the forge as it can be used to make the effect of soot and the coal/charcoal based forge.

I think this includes almost all the key components on my shelf! Pricey, but this is an EXCELLANT one piece kit for someone who is barely getting started or doesn't realize what tools or materials would help them make great scale model scenery. This would be an AWESOME gift for anyone in this hobby.
Probably outside of the scope of this kit, but I would suggest replacing the Teal Lamps with actual flicking LEDs and include the battery holders for cr2032 batteries. A soldering iron, flux, solder, "magnet wire" (used to wrap electro magnets and excellent for repurposing to use in models with low voltage) and shrink wrap tubing. Would be an awesome upgrade to this kit. Will require VERY LITTLE knowledge to get going and the learning curve is shallow. A bread board would not be needed but a pair of "helping hands" would be hugely beneficial.
LED's, get white and avoid various colors. Use clear acrylic paint to color them as desired. The color of the LED will alter the voltage and white has the lowest draw thus extending the battery life the longest. 1 Flickerign LED with 1 cr3032 battery will last several hundred hours without needing to replace the battery.

This is perfect timing, I swear. I just got Nerdecrafter's SNACK box, because I'm getting into sculpting, and now I want to build environments for my sculptures to live in so I ordered this!! Plus, I get to try crafting with lazer cut material, which will help me decide if i like it enough to get my own lazer (pewpew!!pew!). Muse kits are awesome, seems like they always put out quality stuff.

So I just bought my set and can not wait for it to arrive so I can start building. I've always wanted to do this type of hobby but have always shied away for fear that I would get it all wrong. I just got mine, it looks great. Couldnt believe you could fit so much stuff in there.There was one problem though, the bag of permastone had gotten a hole in it during transport so there was white dust all over the whole package. I wasnt a big deal, not much got out... but a little white dust goes a long way to cover everything. It may have burst because of getting bumped somewhere along the way, or it might have popped while on the flight because of low air pressure. So I think putting the permastone in a secondary bag to contain any spills would be a good idea.
Awesome. I placed my order a couple weeks ago and can't wait to dig in and do this over the winter.

Neil you have inspired me with your channel for so long. I have always wanted a kit like this to get my hobby started. I skipped begging the parents and bought it haha. Sadly due that I live overseas the costs would be almost the same as the actual worth (due to import) I can't buy this kit, as much as I want to (I recently bought a house and going to move into it very soon). So I really hope people will buy your kit, it's absolutely amazing and definitely worth the buy!!
And... well.. I wanted to let you know how much you inspired me with your builds, I've recently went into diorama building thanks to your video's. You've inspired me so much and because of that I found my new hobby and something I can do to relax with and get my mind onto something else after a long day at work (I work in a restaurant).
I have not done some self designed work yet, only pre-kits and followed them step by step to get the hang of it. But I love it, and I want to eventually be able to do what you can do or similar atleast.
Uhm yeah so... keep doing what you do best and what you love, it shows in the video's how much care and love and enjoyment you get with these builds!! I love your vids.

Looks like a really great kit. What scale is the Blacksmith? It looks a little too big to fit with most typical models, which is a shame, as it would make for a great centrepiece on a gamingtable.
The Blacksmith is 28/32mm. Scaled to fit Wizkids D&D minis. Not sure why it looks so big to you but it's the perfect gaming sized building. I'll try to make sure to remember to show this in the next video.
