Thank you for this! I’m making a mini version of these in red for my daughter Minnie mouse cupcakes I Think I might use white circle sprinkles to make the polkadots
Once it hardens it can last for a very long time. I have some of my fondant/gumpaste work sitting in the fridge or freezer for several months. If you really want it to last long then I suggest using gumpaste, though. I did have an experience when a fondant bow that I made, collapsed the following day after taking it out of the fridge. I still am not sure what happened, but that wont happen with gumpaste.
I put it in the fridge or the freezer but it must be completely hardened first. So leave it out for a couple of days until it completely hard and then you can store in the fridge or freezer.
Good tutorial thank you ❤ watching from New Zealand ❤
Thank you very much for sharing your skill with the world. A very happy mother from Ireland 🙏💞

What are you apply on your hands
Great tutorial!
Where do you get your gumpaste? What brand do you use?
Beautiful bow
May i ask what how big is your cake for this size of bow
Thank you! The top tier is a 6" cake.
Nice
My local bakery was asking me $95 dollars for a this type of bow. I believe that after watching this video I will pay way less than that. THANKS.
What do you put on your hands while working the fondant ????
Shortening
I use Crisco so the fondant doesn't stick to my hands.
Hello can you share the mixture and ingredients of the paste please.

And the actual gumpaste? All the other recipes are unclear
mark levy Hi.. I actually buy the gum paste already made. To make the gum paste glue you just add a little water to the gum paste.

Can you please give the measurements lol
How long would this last when made

How do you store this?

Does fondant not go soggy even if it was out for a couple of days first?
Why not just fold each side over instead of making 2 separate pieces you have to keep together with the middle part of the bow?
So complicated right
Icing is a bit thick
Your using gum paste, so don’t lead people down the wrong path
Why are you calling this a fondant bow if you are using gumpaste
