- This is an interesting flight to say the least. Lap 1 was exceptional in that it didn't have any major mistakes, which is like... what 80% of the retries consists of. Not just that, additionally I got the nearly impossible 360-section skip on top of it. Out of all the attempts I did, this was the second time ever where I managed to pull off that shortcut. Because of this, it resulted in beating my former best lap 1 by as much as 1"6.
As I entered lap 2, the first thing that came to my mind was: "I'm gonna choke this away for sure, because this is too good to be true". Boost laps were mostly about trying to regain composure so that I didn't end up losing the whole pace to one crucial mistake that should never happen. A lot of shaking movement can be detected in the boost laps, and this obviously has to do with the rather high heart rate I had during the entirety of them. There are several "almost-failure" moments to be seen here, and I honestly think it's a miracle that I could keep it together and surpass my goal time of 2'42" by so much.
Overall pretty happy with this, despite the 2nd lap being a little slow. Not sure if I'll ever have the desire to return here again, but if I do, it's going to be hell to compete with this opening lap. This took less of a grind than I thought it would, but it's difficult to say how much more I would have needed to play in order to see another flight with such fast pace. Clutchness was really on point this session.

NOTE: In the opening lap, many of the boost plates are avoided on purpose, due to them interrupting with the stronger acceleration rate of SA-MTS chaining itself.

Im tryin to learn SA-MTS chaining, could you tell me the exact inputs for it. When to perform the side attacks, turn the engine on/off and so on. It seems to be lot harder than snaking.
Would you consider doin a tutorial video on it?
What does MTS or SA MTS mean? And dou you think you could tell me the customized parts you used on this machine?

"Side-Attack Momentum Turbo Slide" but you're just chaining MTS with side attacks. 😀😁😊

Hey, I'm trying to get my time on this course lower, how is the skip between the two tube sections preformed and how is the skip before the big upwards spiral after the see through part preformed?

How many inputs do you think were in the span of the 2 seconds starting at 0:59? The side attack spam is so dumb that it looks like the game dropped some frames.
sideattacks are not that much of a spamming thing.
If you hold the accelerator you are limited to one sideattack every 8th fram, so you can maximally do 7.5 sideattacks per secs.
You can release the accelerator to cancel the cooldown to perform more sideattacks than that and it's called HSSA (hyper speed side attacking), but it's banned in max speed.
Holy shit.... one less stage that Quick Star doesn't conquer... will we be able to just have Gallant have all the WRs? XD

Am I the only one disappointed that Green Plant is the last track in the game? I find it the most boring setting with the lamest music. They should've swapped Phantom Road and this. It's also odd how they made 3 settings, Cosmo Terminal, Phantom Road, and Outer Space and only used those once.
