Watch "The Dukes of Hazzard: 45 Years Later w/ John Schneider!" 🔗 ua-cam.com/play/PLiwXbnHdcRbELkEL5Xvfo9Gkggoo0k6hi.html It's a documentary mini-series that covers everything that's happened in the last 45 Years since the First Episode of The Dukes of Hazzard aired on CBS!
Awww, Damn! Oh well, it will be worth the wait. Next Friday would be good. Three Fridays with a cool ChunkeyMonkey40 new video in a row would be awsome.
Hey Chunky Monkey, I have a question. Have you seen the 2005 Dukes of Hazzard movie? Cause I've seen it, and I loved it even though people hated it. I still like the movie a lot. Even my dad.
That right there shows you just another reason the Dukes of Hazzard was and is still such a hit. The genuine, humble, caring personality of each and every one of the main cast members ....Just simply the greatest TV series ever
GREAT interview. It's so great to see and hear John doing so well. I was 7 when DoH first came on TV and I HATED Boss Hogg and Roscoe. It was mind blowing as a kid when the entire cast did a parade together because I didn't really understand they were actors and how they could do social things together. During Covid I binged all of the seasons plus the reunion movies and I fully understood how amazing Sorrel Brooks and James Best were as actors but also how great the storylines were and deep down (on the show) they were good people. For example, when the Dukes drove the General Lee into the lake and Boss and Roscoe thought they were dead they were truly upset. Watching Roscoe tell Uncle Jesse and Daisy would have been a real tear jerker if the audience wasn't in on Bo and Luke's plan. This is still such an amazing show and I'm so glad to have found your channel. Thanks for all of your work.
My wife and I streamed the interview on our tv. We loved it. Well done interview, I wished John would've had more time. Excellent work as always Derek.
I am 52 yrs old and have introduced my 7 yr old daughter to the Dukes Of Hazzard about 4 months ago. She absolutely loves the show we tend to watch 1 episode per day and once we have finished the series she asked if we can go back and watch again from the start. We're in South Carolina and recently went to Cooters Place in Tennessee to see Rick Hurst. Thank you for all your awesome Dukes OF Hazzard content.
This was just absolutely amazing to watch & I loved it! I met John Schneider 2 years ago on October 8th 2022 & he was/is the most nicest guy & a down to earth sweetheart & I remember when John signed my book he said to me "I'm so sorry I almost gave your book away" but I'll never forget that moment forever. John is one of the reasons why I love the show The Dukes of Hazzard even more now. The Dukes Of Hazzard will always have a special place in my heart not only that it's 12 years older then me but it has also helped me get through my Autism & my learning disability in my everyday life.
I live Dukes of Hazzard, and John is such a great person and I agree on everything he said thanks Derrick for the great video and sharing it with us man , I’m Hotrod and I will always stay rebel. 🤘😎🤘
My nephew is six and a huge Dukes fan. He wants to go down to John’s Studio in LA and spend the night in the Dukes of Hazzard AirBNB. Thanks Chunky for the interview!
Chunky monkey and John Schneider if your ever in Pittsburgh and you guys need any thing I’ll be right there that right John that’s what friends are for you guys are amazing I’ll never forget meeting John at world of wheels in Pittsburgh pa about maybe 17 years ago he was the most down to earth nice guy I think I ever talk to we got pics and stuff thank you John for being a true American hero for millions of little dukes fans thru out all our life’s I’m Almost 50 and I’m More a fan now then I ever was I got all the dvd sets the dukes are not transparent in my life in any way there number 1 forever and always
I saw a recent one hour interview with Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox and they pointed to the fact that the popularity of Chips was family friendly like The Dukes show. In fact Erik Estrada pointed out that the time the series was on they never drew the guns.
You Tube removed the Duke's of Hazzard from their library, after I spent a lot of money on the episodes. They have get to restore my library or my wallet. I paid for those episodes. They're mine.

Thank you gentlemen. Though I’m a Canadian, I’d say I identify more with the incredible people of those “flyover” state’s. Americana is what we all need more of! Sadly, the delusional lefties have no idea what that is. God bless and may you never end the fight for what you know is right and just. 🇺🇸🤝🇨🇦
So AWESOME... And Mr Schneider... Wish you could have met my SUPER WONDERFUL NEIGHBOR..PATTY .. Who was on Dialysis....WE HAD THE BEST FRIDAY NIGHTS. From the Very Start. Watching the DUKES WITH PATTY....
I was and still am a huge Dukes of Hazzard fan. I grew up watching the show as a child and even recorded the song that always played at the beginning. My friends and myself used to ride our bikes listening to it pretending to be the duke boys. I know you are also a huge fan as well (obviously) so perhaps you can help me out with this. The rebel yell has always been "Yeee Haw" and was typically yelled on every jump and mainly at the end of the song when they hit that huge mound of dirt where Rosco slides sideways and the General Lee would jump over his car. ... You would hear Luke at first yell "Yeee" then John would yell it overpowering Lukes voice so you would hear Yeee twice initially then John would finish it with the traditional Yeeee Haw Now for some reason you dont even hear Luke at all and now John is yelling "yeeee who" which isn't the rebel yell and kinda sounds silly. I know this song word for word and throughout the show I NEVER heard either of them ever yell "yeee who". If you watch that on anyone's channel including yours there is no Lukes voice and all you hear is john "yeee who" ... WTH ??? Perhaps im missing something but I NEVER missed an episode and never remember that rebel yell being as it currently is "yee who" .
Hmm i never put much thought into it. They just use sound bytes for those effects, it honestly is probably just producers trying to come up with something different than just a yee haa. In the old CMT promos for Dukes, Luke would yell YA-HOOO", i think it was just an attempt to change it up a bit

I agree with you that Dukes of Hazard was an amazing show, it was my favorite as an '80s kid, and John Schneider was my childhood hero... but Trump is a steaming pile of human garbage! FYI, Biden, and the house Democrats, put together the toughest set of reforms to secure the border in many decades, but the House Republicans refused to bring the new Border Security Bill to the Senate floor for a vote... because Trump told them to kill it! Trump doesn't want to solve the border problems, he outright said he wants to use the issues at the border as a weapon for the general election. So, at this point, the only person to blame for lack of border security is Donald.
Chunkey I think it would be bad to the bone if we could get together and hang out some day. But I live in front royal va. But if you ever go to cooters in Luray again it would mean the world if we met in person

It’s funny to find this video. I just started watching the dukes with my 8 year old son. His favorite episode is Enos’s last chance. Season 6\ episode 10. He’s found that one, and wants to watch it every day, and could watch it all day. My favorite is all season one. I love that one. We get in the truck and he wants to be Luke. So naturally I get to be Bo. We just don’t jump anything. We don’t live far from Covington Georgia
