Hmmm I agree that Whitney did not come into the experiment the best way but I think Duca is being disingenuous. Three times Whitney wrote leave and Duca made her stay each time. He knew she checked out from day one and kept her there each week. It had nothing to do with him fighting for the relationship (knowing now how he truly felt about her character) after the second time he should’ve let her go, but he wanted to stay there for the fame. I met him with my friend in July in Bristol. He was part of the pleasure boys stripper act at a gay bar called the queen shilling. He was very self involved didn’t stop talking about himself and asked me for a one night stand within five minutes of striking up a conversation whilst we were out having a fag. I said no. He ended up going home with a VERY drunk and unattractive (sorry but it’s true) blonde drunk lady. He was an asshole.

Duka has incredible self-control. If it were anyone else, they would’ve said something to Whitney. I felt bad that he seemed like he didn’t know what to do or say with Whitney. Actually, yea, that's one thing I did disagree with Duka about ; the trauma thing. I accept he's been through worse (and would like to learn more about what he had to go through growing up). But people do cope with trauma in different ways. And it is more difficult when it's fresh. That said I think it's awesome how Duka has put that all behind him and is now thriving!

I absolutely saw the double standards and hypocrisy 100%. I dragged up all the same parallels to my sis as it was unfolding. I think if the candidates who don't go into the experiment with an open mind and heart should be axed! It was evident that this chics conduct stank from the go get. He's the issue in my mind because as viewers we and Duka had to endure her screen time SOLEY because of him..for whatever reason he kept saying stay. I question his motive more than anything and have accepted and gotten over Whitney's personality.
I think Duka was one of the most calmest people on the show, the disrespect Whitney showed him on the wedding day was disgusting. Regardless of everything she said about him, he never said a bad word about her and backed her all the way, he behaved like an honest man and tried to make it work even when the going got tough, whilst she clearly was out for drama from the get go. Go back to the first episode and someone convince me that she was serious about this process, because she clearly wasn’t. His point of double standards hits the nail on the head, if he had told whitney that she didn’t look a certain way, there would have been uproar, so how was it okay for her to bodyshame him?

Exactly, right from the start it was awful. He stayed calm throughout in what was clearly a match made to cause drama, he handled himself well

It was evident that this chics conduct stank from the go get. For them to be allowed to continue the experiment was like giving them a pat on the bk.
I think most of that group enjoyed isolating Whitney. So why would she not block them. They made their feelings about her clear. I’m sure they all say worse about her in their group chat. It would be more about disassociating herself from people that do not care for her. He was hurt and probably embarrassed that’s why he speaks of her in this way. She seems quite an awkward person I don’t think TV was for her personality as she didn’t come across well.
