Especially love his comment about how important investigative journalists are....and appreciate his comments about how TV News is now a BUSINESS--no longer a "loss leader..." GREAT INTERVIEW... Insightful... "The whole industry is changing...Who would have thought a year ago that Dan Rather...Ted Koppel..would all leave within one year?" Certainly not me. Those guys were "Gods..."in the business.

And they reported the True facts not fabricated ones! Ailes lied about things he didn't like while lying about things that he approved of! Not real news..only Ailes outlook on things.

This interview has changed my whole perspective on Roger Ailes....especially that he has read "Up From Slavery" by Booker T.

In real life, he looked like Alfred Hitchcock. I am saying "real life" because I am watching The Loudest voice.

Great mini series. Roger Ailes was a liar period and lied to get what he wanted instead of reporting True facts!

Great interview. Loved it!! His views remind me of those of my late father... Totally agree that the so-called "mainstream media" is at the far left.... Duh. I worked in it for years...and felt like I was working for a bunch of commies. Mr. Ailes is much more likeable when you actually hear him talk. He definitely has that whole "Midwestern, " self-effacing demeanor down. Too bad he apparently gave into his demons in the way he allegedly treated and exploited female employees. (Not that the type of alleged conduct is not going on elsewhere in the news-entertainment field...) I was in radio-TV when CNN started...and had left the field (for law) when FOX began. Women were treated differently in every field--not just the radio-TV business. The one thing I really dislike about FOX national "news" is the gross way the female reporters and anchors dress-like they are going "clubbing" in Miami. AND, really HATE how Fox says it is "fair and balanced"...when it really is NOT.I like Mr. Aiels in this interview. He's actually smart and saavy. Really a tragedy that he apparently could not "contain" himself.

There is very little hard news people even if a show is called a hard news show..anchors are now a Hybrid of news and giving their point of view and almost all of them do it. As far as Oreilly he likely makes up 75% of his anecdotes that cannot possibly be checked out.
