@castroy64 Probably less than the men that sexually harassed her. Seriously, what does that have to do with anything? Nobody should have to put up with degradation and harassment in order to be in a certain field
@castroy64 Again, what does that have to do with her experience? This is a problem that exists across politics and media. I'm not a partisan shill, and I'll call out shills who deny the obvious no matter what "team" they're on. But her facts are undeniable. She literally has recordings. If you think this kind of work culture is justified, you have problems. My personal guess is that you're just a hypocrite.
Yes, JUST like those creeps, too. Conservatives, liberals, and everyone in between. I despise all the degenerates who try to hold their powers over others. I hope every damn one of them are exposed. Does that finally answer the question you've asked so many times?
So yes she did indeed have to go through so much as you mentioned. However your statement at the final part about being the first to come forward is actually in fact rather fallacious and it's misleading and it's probably perhaps unintentionally on your part not keeping in mind the women that dealt with the many unknown and unacknowledged women that came before Gretchen and did actually try to likely take a stand against what they knew as a sexual harassment, etc. What Gretchen in fact did if you want to call her to be or credit her with being the first person to it wouldn't be that she came forward It was that she was the first person to successfully take action sort of surreptitiously at the risk of her job in affecting change forever when it comes to jobs, contracts for jobs as well as any complaints against bosses and how those complaints that are placed by an employee dealing with such things as harassment are dealt with. She changed it She basically broke the barrier that many people when they sign their contract for work don't read all of the fine print. And the problem that Gretchen discovered was that when she had a complaint she had no means to actually get a fair and reasonable balanced way of making her complaint to people who had no connections to the job and who would then make a decision as to whether or not her complaint in this case of sexual harassment was valid and then how to go from there. And what it comes down to is that the contracts had a specific clause in them that forced anybody male or female that's a really important thing male or female that had a complaint against their superiors they were forced to do on-site in other words on the job arbitration and that whatever decision or judgment was found After evidence that was presented, and mind you in many cases the judgment was favoring the employer rather than the employee, that's what had to be accepted. And in this case the sexual harassment that Gretchen suffered and that she learned through that other women have also been subjected to through by Roger ailes, whenever they went forward to make a complaint such as with their human resource department it was either ignored or it didn't even go so far as to be formally acknowledged as a complaint and go through arbitration. What Gretchen did was go off-site quite illegally and dangerously to her job and consulted with a legal a law firm as far as what she needed to do to affect the change forever male or female for these contract negotiations when there's a dispute about discrimination or unfair workforce complaint anything that the any complaints. Okay before the ruling that was made was whatever it was they couldn't talk about it and that was even if they got so far as going past human resources and into this so-called arbitration. And they had no choice but when the day that they signed their contract to accept the job they were also accepting the fact that if they ever complained or wanted to place a complaint that they agreed to closed door arbitration that had to be hushed and have broken would severely penalize the employee if they decided to speak out. The change that happened was the lawyers convincing Gretchen- who by the way during her gears at Stanford when she won Miss America was actually a pre-law student- was to convince they convince the Gretchen to wear a wire tab and she had ton like tens tens maybe over a hundred hours worth of not audio but videotape of irrefutably Roger ailes voice. Now a lot of that I don't believe has been revealed as far as what he said and it was probably very vulgar and very disgusting and the movie that we that we were able to see that was made on Apple or shown on I think it was Netflix probably really doesn't even scratch the surface as far as what he was doing. So first of all please do not discredit or in any way to mean the women that did try before to come forward but rather focus on what in fact Gretchen did do in what she was the first one to successfully try. We don't even really know whether somebody had previously tried to go outside of the workforce consult with a legal team and see if they could wear a wiretap. The reason why is because it's not been mentioned they may have been given hush money if they were called or maybe they just decided it wasn't worth risking their job If somebody had said hey look going and wear a wire. So I'm not saying that Gretchen was not brave she was. But to insinuate that she was the first one and that only she had to go through so much as you're saying in the beginning of the statement is for me as a male to read that gives me it makes me cringe. I think it's really important to understand what Gretchen actually was fighting for it had nothing to do with harassment It was the actions that she tried to or wanted to be able to take in stopping the harassment that because of the contract that she signed prevented her from being able to do so. Do you understand that? Cuz that's really important to understand She didn't fight sexual harassment on the job she fought the arbitration process that forced them into whatever thing was agreed upon to not be able to speak about and in many cases the force arbitration agreement in closed doors the employees didn't get legal outside legal representation.
People often think only men can be misogynists. They forget women can hold the same views too. Its a state of mind fostered over time. Many women raise misogynists.
castroy64 ...Read her story again. She’s a person of integrity and always has been. She didn’t need to file false accusations in some attempt to become a “Gold-digger”. She had talent and success on her own merit. That’s a lazy reply. After you get done yawning, do better.
castroy64 ...No you idiot. No, There’s more than one source of information on Gretchen Carlson. I think you’re over there shaking your head so hard you hurt something. 🤕
@castroy64 to say the network “worshipped at the alter” of those two men is a pretty ridiculous exaggeration. Also, the mainstream media were all over the Bill Clinton Lewinsky scandal and covered it extensively. It was a feeding frenzy and they did anything but give him a pass.
@Brenon Fiwchuk damn you are so pathetic, she acomplished everything before that, the harrasser got more money than here, but you only care about what her compenssation was. ASSHOLE
castroy64 oh stop. I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess you’re a trump supporter? Nothing about this was staged. There’s a mountain of evidence and witnesses.
Free Gov't from Wall St! I watched the series as well. You got to see how many people ailes harassed and how they didn’t do anything because he could take their jobs away
I placed myself in a male dominated field......However, every day seemed like a fight for respect .......LORD I thank you for giving me enough strength to escape the oppression....still grateful ........retired
Agree. I was in a male dominated profession. I didn't have significant harassment, but I did experience discrimination. Again, it's difficult to prove because it's excuses, passing comments, missing out on opportunities. Was it me? Something I did or didn't do? No, it was discrimination. Try proving it though, right? It's similarly frustrating though admittedly not as traumatizing as what these women have experienced. I feel for them deeply. I also reached the point where it wasn't worth destroying my soul over. Happy to be out. I'm still finding my new path, but I'm happy to not be being subjected to the warped opinions and projections of others who are trying to be manipulative. It's extremely draining. Am happy to be free to tread my own path. 🙌🙏💫
Goes to show that if a woman uses her looks and talent to do something for herself, she WILL be demeaned-Even by women! We have all been harassed-all of us.
@castroy64 do you have a life? YOU ARE ON EVERY COMENT TRYING TO DISCREDIT HER WHEN MANY WOMEN CAME OUT DUE TO HER. Get your head out of your ass, and shut your mouth cause is clear that you don't have anything respectful, decent, logic or smart to add.
I worked many years in both TV and Film for all the major news networks and major film studios in Hollywood and NYC. This horrific practice is sadly all too common. The casting couch is alive and well. As a male, I had numerous female bosses do the same to me however, this is less common, it's still a trouble issue and can destroy a hard-won career, and can even get you blacklisted from further employment. I've worked with many like Gretchen who just want to do their job and raise their children and be left alone. For those of you who have had this happen to you, I think you will agree, it feels like a form of terrorism in the work place. This is a nightmare when you are at their mercy for a damn paycheck and of course, they know it, and use it as a weapon if you aren't willing to comply. An old girlfriend I worked with at PBS-TV, had the same problem she sued and won. This happens to attractive women all the time, and it must end. TV and Film draws highly sexual and very attractive women and men as everyone knows. The stories I could tell ... all I can say is if you get into TV and Film BEWARE because, it's not likely to go away any time soon.
And for me too. I went through both sexual harassment and assault at my former office job and when I got fired, I sued. I haven't been believed by anyone despite witnesses and some supervisors on my side. It took me 18 months to build a 700-page long case detailing the toxicity I endured. To this day, especially with the forthcoming verdict later month, I've never felt such anger, such fatigue, such vulnerability and it will definitely impact me for years to come.
Are the negative people on here insane??? Gretchen Carlson is an amazing, humble, gracious and talented woman. She is in my opinion is the most amazing Miss America ever. As far as her ability on TV news, she is one of the few journalist I can watch. I don't feel like she is scamming anyone. It took a lot of courage to do what she did. She truly is an example of what a great Miss America is about. I am really proud of her and as a man I have become even more careful when dealing with women at my work. I never want them to feel what Gretchen felt. Breaks my heart!
- Vanessa Williams is a former Miss America (1984) that overcame a ton of harassment from the start and finally received an apology, not a settlement, from the Miss America pageant. - Anita Hill, put her stamp on Sexual Harassment in the 80’s. - However, a Black woman’s voice and body have never been valued in America. But now we have a white Miss America yelling sexual harassment. I remember when Gretchen Carlson won Miss America (1989) and she appeared to be that perfect Miss America into her 50’s - when all along she was putting up and shutting up like most women at work. Being looked over and overlooked, because she didn’t have any “down time” to get ahead. . Good for her - she finally understands what it means to empower all women, while educating men in the process (starting when they are boys). It’s never too late.
Is it just me? When I saw the trailer for Bombshell, Nichol Kidman looks a bit ditsy. But watching the real Gretchen today for the first time, I have so much respect for her.
I wish i had such a beautiful smart daughter like Gretchen has.... I wish to be an actress one day. Gretchen gave me the courage that I needed to survive in this industry. Thank you and God bless all women who decide to speak.
I have been sexually harassed on the job of 29 years and i work as a law enforcement officer. When you tell people so and so did this and that to me what do you get in response? Oh i cant imagine him doing something like that which is why I always kept my mouth shut. Oh the lawsuits i could have had but were never brave enough to file. .
Been there for this past year and a half. Got sexually harassed and assaulted as well last summer in my former office job by a much older female colleague and having little to no support by the supervisors pushed me to file my own lawsuit after I got fired this January. Thankfully, more than dozen of employees, past & present, have accepted to vouch for my credibility. But the trauma still lingers to this day. It took me 10 months to build my case after I hired my attorneys. I never stopped working despite the ordeal but it took me a while to heal and it still fucks me up from time to time but not as often nowadays. I'm so sorry that it happened to you. You should try.
Why didn't Fox network offer Miss Carlson her exalted position she previously had? It would have been good PR for the network and probably gotten them a higher share of the ratings.
This isn't just harassment. These women loose their jobs they have worked for. It's demeaning to be seen as a sex object and not for what you contribute. They are not just loosing a job but the area of their life that gave meaning to them. Harassment is the least of what happens. They are kicked by men for being a women. They are treated like the service by the Lord of the manor. They are used like the slaves by the masters. Women are feed up with being destroyed by men in power.
Our history is similar. I was a female in the military in the 80's. Happens all the time. I stood up. I was a low rank, E3, and power is the rank. I spoke up. Must be our good, Scandinavian stock! I am a fan! You have opened the way for women to not use sex for advancement and/or being pressured! God bless you!
Gretchen is not someone I agree with on politics but she is a badass who had helped inspire people who were victims of sexual harassment and workplace harassment to come out against abusers in the workplace. I respect her a lot.
So far and sadly 142 dislikes in the name of dishonor. Sometimes society must admit that something is wrong!! Love this woman for being so brave!! She is educating a beautiful young girl to become and amazing woman!! Just like her!! 3:49 The part where she couldn’t help herself and became the interviewer! Love it!! I have experienced sexual harassment in many ways, it just makes us think “did I provoke that? Was it my fault? ... no more!!!
Deep respect and thanks to Gretchen Carlson for her bravery. Her actions are having and will continue to have a ripple effect for future generations. She took it upon herself to end this long accepted mistreatment of women in the workplace. Thank you.
@castroy64 - hmmm......sounds like you are pretty bitter. The "allegations" you refer to were actually recorded and thus proven by Gretchen Carlson as she encountered Roger Ailes multiple times. Thus the large $20 million settlement. Kinda hard to deny facts. So maybe take your own advice and cut the crap. Maybe proven facts are irrelevant to minds like yours?
Yes Gretchen, you are a cute young lady. Yet, all I have ever noticed is how professional you are/were. And, yes I am a grown man; I've seen other men abuse females, emotionally and, physically. These men have done their part in making me a distrusted, deplorable person in women's minds. I am kinder than them! I support you and, please remember, we men are 'not' all alike. God bless you and your family and, I wish you a very merry Christmas.
So glad you are out of the toxic media environment, Gretchen. Not just the sexual harassment but, the lies and misleading of media reporting. I hope you decide to stay away from other corporate media offers for employment. I wish you all the best. Stay TRUE.
It happens everywhere and in every career....But I need my job...And I got news women do it to other women too....not the sexual harassment ...but the bullying...shaming ....and not sticking up for other women.
There will always be at least a woman who will be subject to bullying or harrasment by other women, she is sometimes have a bitchy reputation or men are friendly with her because of her good looks, and she will receive slut shaming comments. I've seen it, and observe it, so sad that such women guard are so high up that whenever i try to just have a conversation with them, they think i'm one of those women who don't like them.
The most incredible thing here it’s not the end of sexual harassment because it would happen again and again. It’s the end of secrecy that protect abusers on the labor force and as you all know secrecy and silence are abuse biggest allied. Thanks ,it’s a big accomplice in women’s rights and we appreciate you.
Gretchen was prepared to take on Ailes, first with the courage, then with the evidence. Gretchen is right, courage is not something we are born with, but a gradual learned experience, she sued and she won, and we should be proud of her for the courage it took to stand up to them!
I'm looking forward to testify.
Wow this interview got me emotional when she started talking about her son. Makes me think of all the men we love yet they are monsters to other women. We need to teach them better!!!!!
G.C. is a hero to me too. I was harassed too, when I turned down the offers from the employer, I was simply denied the contract, it was not given to me. Regardless the fact that I won the selection procedure for the position. Metoo# 😿
Oh please, Gretchen Carlson got 10 million dollars. I’m sure many more way pretty woman than her were sexually harassed .....got nothing. Zero. Nothing. Boo hoo Gretchen. Hopefully, spend money on women that actually need it
I'm male and the same was done to me..by women in power and not in power.. Family School Baby sitters Work Clubs Church. I also had no where to go for the same reasons..This lead to me losing my virginity at 14 to a 21 year women.. I grew up thinking it was the norm and started acting out in the same manner with women thinking it was the norm... Ive learnt to move forward without any scaring nor emotional package.. And no I dont act out towards women like I did when I thought it was the norm.. Not to make light of the abuse just stating fact...
Gretchen Carlson thanks for being so brave and so strong so that other women don't have to put up with that kind of treatment! Thanks to ABC news for shining a light on this issue. We need to tell our daughters (and sons) that this is not okay
.....and now Cara Mund, current Miss America has accused Carlson of a nearly a year of bullying, degradation, and humiliation......karma's a bitch, huh Gretch?
Grechen, listen I don't know what you're going through but I can't see you lying about something so serious and so life changing, you will prevail in the long haul, and for the sake of your family and you good luck .
After watching the Gretchen Carlson C-Span interview with Sally Quinn, I wonder how she views her loss (position, authority, employability, career value, status and personal circle, and validity, etc) in comparison to how she attacked and viewed African Americans while on Fox. Does she experience empathy now, knowing what speaking up about inequality, injustice, marginalization, fears, dismissal, being ignored, invalidation, etc, in her case as a woman, feels like? Does she now recognize what employment loss feels like because you no longer go along to get along? Does she look at her kids and know that survival for them, having a safe place to live with certain personal safety (basic Maslow's Hierarchy of needs) is important and what protecting that looked like for her in comparison to what that looks like for blacks. Is she able to now empathically able to equate that to what African Americans and other minorities face and struggle within this Nation and world for? If it's important for women (white) to have an unbiased seat at the table, should African Americans and others be afforded that seat without strings, or should they continue to remain silent as in the case of many women who face/faced gender bias compounded by racial inequality? What does her barometer for racial inequality look like today, or does it still resonate with her as whites only get that voice and platform? She's proud of her stance, but she attacked blacks for wanting normalization of their lives within a Nation and western world that historically stole so much, as black continue to experience dumbing down of their voices, pain, and hurt? She gets to write a book, sit at tables in public forums with an audience waiting to hear her thoughts more readily than the case for any black person, no matter their status or station in life. She still has easy access to platforms that give her an open-access voice. I'd welcome hearing her voice now about the historical plight of blacks, post-Fox, based on her experience that she was so silent about for a period of time until she felt the courage to speak up. What's her view now on the fragility of having a place on this earth when someone (many someones) decides such place is invalid? Is she still protecting the oppressors as she decides that sexual harassers should be outed? Moreover, the voice of sexual harassment for black women is still fairly silent, ask Tarana Burke - she was #MeToo long before and beyond Hollywood on My Space, she was shoved to the background for more than a decade, I guess POP Culture serves a purpose. She's heard now, but will the voice of black women now hold a place at the table or will the affected continue to be seen as raunchy and promiscuous as is often portrayed in media? May we all experience the systemic change, racially and otherwise as Tarana desires for the sexually harassed. Having journeyed with female Veterans through their stories, I still await a better response to the sexually affected that serve/d in our Nation's Armed Forces with unspoken bravery.
Sad this happened to her but her honesty, humility and grace really shin thru. This has should happen to no body irrespective of their politics or views.
she can't talk about the case because she took a 20 million dollar lawsuit settlement to buy her silence. i thought it wasn't about the money Gretchen?
@@bluwater1422 exactly. she's already very wealthy and didn't need the extra 20 million. she was old and at the end of her career and decided to cash in.
What a positive note from Ms Carlson. NOT just for sexual harassment, but any type of antisocial behaviour and to educate her children xx love and light everyone🥰💝 and for the survivors of such events.
Fair play to her. Being Conservative doesn't mean you get to demean women, or grope their asses, or anything like that. And im glad things have changed massively and this sort of this is really looked down on. And rightly so. I'd say I'm centre right wing. All I know is that I hate the extreme left. And I won't apologise for hating asdholes who are literally as bad as the far far right. Fight on girl.
I wish me women could do what Gretchen did. It's such a shame sexual harassment gets tolerated as much as it does. Probably if girls are raised to be courageous and never take crap from anyone, we'd have more brave women like Gretchen!
I’m happy that finally this is coming to light, however it’s hard for me to sympathize for someone who worked for an organization that made it their business to deny anyone of being a victim when it comes to race, bigotry or the poor
....so you would be proud if one of your daughters either 1) lied about sex harassment only when bosses elected not to renew her contract, or 2) kept quiet about real sexual harassment to the harm of others, as long as she kept being promoted? It's either one or the other, and both are disgraceful.
She may have had absolutely no choice. My step-son was hit by a city employee truck in 2012. We finally settled the lawsuit with the city. There are laws that protected the city more than it did for my son or any other children. We had to settle. If we had gone to court we would've lost due to their "fine print" unfair laws. And if we had lost the city could've requested that we pay all lawyer and court fees. However, settling still made us feel like we accomplished something. Keeping them accountable. I don't know what the specifics are of Gretchen's case but I am only guessing. She is just one lady and I bet whoever assaulted her or harassed her was big time and she is just one lady. I feel bad for her. But she stood up for what she believed in. I guess that is the point they are trying to make. I don't know.... ;o)
Women should be able to go about this world safely. We Can't! Our grandmothers had chaperones, Doesn't that tell you something about men and women. When a woman doesn't have proper shelter, she must use great judgement in where she goes and with whom. It is not the woman's fault, it is just the way it is. Anyone who thinks they are safe are delusional. Get real. Tell your daughters, don't go to bars alone, don't walk on lonely streets at night, and, get to know a man before being alone with him. Now. is that so hard?. There are numerous examples, but, I think you get the message.
Shelly G Your points are well taken. Don't misunderstand- my comment wasn't intended as criticism of the choice she made. And that she got an apology along with the money is important. I just don't like misuse of the word "hero." To be heroic is to act in pursuit of the righteous benefit of another without anticipation of personal gain. Her actions aren't wrong. But neither are they heroic.
I really liked her on that morning show on Fox years ago, Fox and Friends. She was great. But I do remember at the time she had replaced a well liked host in that spot. So not sure what happened but some said it was unfair Gretchen ousted her. I did think She did a great job there though.
Why is there such a thing as a non disclosure agreement? Why are admissions of guilt kept secretive when admitted wrongdoing should always be made public. It appears that money is at the root again of this miscarriage of justice. Enough money buys protection from criminal prosecution, and that should never be OK.
You know Gretchen Carlson used her so called good looks to try and get over and ahead in the entertainment world and when those scumbags took advantage of her she cried foul. It comes with the territory.
She had to go through so much--being the first to come forward. Brave woman.
@castroy64 Probably less than the men that sexually harassed her. Seriously, what does that have to do with anything? Nobody should have to put up with degradation and harassment in order to be in a certain field

I just don't trust G.carlson...

Putting politics aside. I can tell Gretchen does care and has a good heart.
I second that 💙
castroy64 Dude FUCK off and get a life.
care a good heart?
2:04 That was disgraceful. Penny Crone should look back on that with a lot of shame.
*they're/they are...I don't usually correct people's grammar, but you've repeated it SO many times I decided to make an exception.
@castroy64 It's nice that you corrected your error and glad to have taught you something.
TravFDY🔥 Penney Croan looks like a young Judge Judy
TravFDY🔥
She should. That was unbelievably misogynistic.
People often think only men can be misogynists. They forget women can hold the same views too. Its a state of mind fostered over time. Many women raise misogynists.
She got $20 million and a very rare apology on behalf of the network. She definitely deserved both.
castroy64 ...Read her story again. She’s a person of integrity and always has been. She didn’t need to file false accusations in some attempt to become a “Gold-digger”. She had talent and success on her own merit. That’s a lazy reply. After you get done yawning, do better.

castroy64 ...👈 Yes, I think you are.
castroy64 ...You’re the one accusing the woman of being a Golddigger without doing any of the research. But that makes you the clever one.
castroy64 ...🤣 That’s hilarious. You’re adorable. How ‘bout you go first on the coherent thought posting?
She has been bulled by women as well
Its sad that women are partly the perpetrators covering up for the men at fault. Women like Gretchen give me hope!
here after watching bombshell teaser

So am I
@castroy64 to say the network “worshipped at the alter” of those two men is a pretty ridiculous exaggeration. Also, the mainstream media were all over the Bill Clinton Lewinsky scandal and covered it extensively. It was a feeding frenzy and they did anything but give him a pass.
Just seen the film at cinema. Its great
Here *before watching it, just so that i know what im walking into.
I didn’t realize she was so accomplished. Just wonderful.
@Brenon Fiwchuk damn you are so pathetic, she acomplished everything before that, the harrasser got more money than here, but you only care about what her compenssation was. ASSHOLE
Really made me tear up. She’s so humble. That was a major feat and a W for women everywhere
castroy64 oh stop. I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess you’re a trump supporter? Nothing about this was staged. There’s a mountain of evidence and witnesses.
Thank you Gretchen Carlson for being so brave for many of us who felt we never had a choice.
Watching The Loudest Voice now, I have a latent appreciation for this brave woman who ignited the Me Too Movement today. Thank you, Ms. Carlson!
Free Gov't from Wall St! I watched the series as well. You got to see how many people ailes harassed and how they didn’t do anything because he could take their jobs away
She didn’t have a problem cashing her checks when she was on her knees for so long
Donald Storniolo 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
My aunt MOLESTED when I was a boy
Lord Vader ???
Doing my research before watching the bombshell movie premiere.
So proud of you!
I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW MANY PEOPLE are ALL A PART OF THIS! I'm so sorry this happened to you.
Goes to show that if a woman uses her looks and talent to do something for herself, she WILL be demeaned-Even by women! We have all been harassed-all of us.
Life is so hard! You just try to go on and work and people abuse you.
Crazy ain't it
Someone is very upset that they don’t have $20 million⬆️
@castroy64 good for her she deserves it
@castroy64 do you have a life?
AffinityNetNews tfs
She is a role model for all women. Good for her! Thank you for showing women they have a voice against sexual harassment.
20 million dollars and all her pain goes away.
She is a gold digger, she used this opportunity
And for me too. I went through both sexual harassment and assault at my former office job and when I got fired, I sued.
I haven't been believed by anyone despite witnesses and some supervisors on my side.
It took me 18 months to build a 700-page long case detailing the toxicity I endured.
To this day, especially with the forthcoming verdict later month, I've never felt such anger, such fatigue, such vulnerability and it will definitely impact me for years to come.
Shes so authentic. The vibes coming off from her wow. And smart and brave. Cant believe something like this happened to former Miss America!
Get a grip. She is a phony bitch who got a huge payday
Can we talk about how stunning, talented and well spoken her daughter is? She’s raised a lovely young girl
It is just ironic that Gretchen then became a bully at the Miss America Organization.
I'm sorry you had to go through that. You're beautiful.
Is it just me? When I saw the trailer for Bombshell, Nichol Kidman looks a bit ditsy. But watching the real Gretchen today for the first time, I have so much respect for her.
I don't see "ditsy" at all.
No one is harassing these days, in fact no one pays attention much at all. Math genius.
Was sexually harassed myself and felt everything she did. She is my hero ❤
I wish i had such a beautiful smart daughter like Gretchen has.... I wish to be an actress one day. Gretchen gave me the courage that I needed to survive in this industry. Thank you and God bless all women who decide to speak.
So far 116 dislike!!!
Is there someone whom dislike this video interview willing to come forward to explain why!!
"Be a man" for a change!!!
Gretchen! That's how we raise women in Minnesota! Good on you Gretchen!! Xxoo it is important you came forward. Thank you!! You are brave!!
This is a remarkable woman and it really shines through her daughter. "My mom's a hero...." That's too sweet for words. Awesome job, mom. :O)
Why didn't Fox network offer Miss Carlson her exalted position she previously had? It would have been good PR for the network and probably gotten them a higher share of the ratings.
People must not know that just as many men get sexually harassed as well.
I have 2 older sisters. They taught me everything on how to treat women. Thanks big sisters!
She seems so kind and humble. She’s so beautiful!
I believe her and I am not in shock. Silence can be our biggest virtue or our biggest doom. Everything is not what it seems.
Simp how many FEMALE teacher's commit statutory RAPE?
Go to hell.
So glad you are out of the toxic media environment, Gretchen. Not just the sexual harassment but, the lies and misleading of media reporting. I hope you decide to stay away from other corporate media offers for employment. I wish you all the best. Stay TRUE.
The Light Of Truth awakens a New Day where Darkness fears to tread.
Thank you Gretchen Carlson.
Her daughter is a beautiful young lady with a strong mind just like her Mom.
She’s from Angola MN?!!! And she took down a terrible man!! Omg I just love her even more.
Been there for this past year and a half. Got sexually harassed and assaulted as well last summer in my former office job by a much older female colleague and having little to no support by the supervisors pushed me to file my own lawsuit after I got fired this January. It took me 10 months to build my case after I hired my attorneys. I never stopped working despite the ordeal but it took me a while to heal and it still fucks me up from time to time but not as often nowadays.
Metoo# 😿
Whenever I tried to watch the Fox morning show I was so embarrassed at how their legs were right there front and center . Disturbing.
@David Dawes Sure dude. Whatever you say smh.
guys get sexually harrassed too.. they never talk about that.. hypocrites.. i been sexually harrassed a thousand times
Oh please, Gretchen Carlson got 10 million dollars. I’m sure many more way pretty woman than her were sexually harassed .....got nothing. Zero. Nothing. Boo hoo Gretchen. Hopefully, spend money on women that actually need it
I Miss Gretchen on Fox she had such a large platform to reach many more women and girls. I applaud her bravery
Women NEED to report when things happen. It maybe an easy thing to say but women need to stand up and say NO !!!!
Agreed
I'm male and the same was done to me..by women in power and not in power..
Family
School
Baby sitters
Work
Clubs
Church.
Are you tall or something?
Im sorry that happened 2 u
@@gotohellaaron
He sounds around 6'8"
Gretchen Carlson thanks for being so brave and so strong so that other women don't have to put up with that kind of treatment! Thanks to ABC news for shining a light on this issue. We need to tell our daughters (and sons) that this is not okay
Didn’t she get $20 million out of Fox from the lawsuit? Did she donate any money? Asking for a friend.
.....and now Cara Mund, current Miss America has accused Carlson of a nearly a year of bullying, degradation, and humiliation......karma's a bitch, huh Gretch?
look into all the men that are sticking up for him, good ole boys hang together!
Men power... We are the best!!!
Grechen, listen I don't know what you're going through but I can't see you lying about something so serious and so life changing, you will prevail in the long haul, and for the sake of your family and you good luck .
Ian Dowd huh?
We need more Gretchen Carlson in this world
After watching the Gretchen Carlson C-Span interview with Sally Quinn, I wonder how she views her loss (position, authority, employability, career value, status and personal circle, and validity, etc) in comparison to how she attacked and viewed African Americans while on Fox.
I miss her on Fox, but I’m also glad she was able to accomplish what she did.
She's telling the truth.
@castroy64 body language
Thank you Gretchen!!🙏🏼
It only upset her when she got fired
this woman is so resilient and brave
You have truly helped other women. God Bless you....
Sad this happened to her but her honesty, humility and grace really shin thru. This has should happen to no body irrespective of their politics or views.
she can't talk about the case because she took a 20 million dollar lawsuit settlement to buy her silence. i thought it wasn't about the money Gretchen?
I dont believe nothing she says cuz if she was looking 4 justice then she would not need $$$$, in other words a settlement(lawsuit)
A TRUE PATRIOT and BRAVE woman ..!
Way to go Gretchen! What a wonderful human being! God bless her for saving others women from this terror. She is truly an inspiration and hero!
Such a talented and brave woman, wow.
Gretchen is a Champion for empowering women.
Thank you Gretchen.
I have been sexually harassed like 4-5 times when I was just 12 Or 13 years old n i didn't know what to do i never told anyone about this..... 🤐
Shes an opportunist, a liar. She had an email exchange with me before her firing stating that there is NO sexual harassment at FOX
I LOVE you Gretchen! You are a HERO, an ANGEL and a HEROIC BRAVE woman to us ALL! 👏🏽
Wow what an amazing narrative!
I am so proud of her .......... I would be so proud if my daughter was like her brave and strong ..
....so you would be proud if one of your daughters either 1) lied about sex harassment only when bosses elected not to renew her contract, or 2) kept quiet about real sexual harassment to the harm of others, as long as she kept being promoted? It's either one or the other, and both are disgraceful.
Brave indeed. Wow!
Saw her on MSNBC today. She called herself ‘a journalist’. If she is a ‘journalist’ I am a flying PIG!
What is heroic about accepting millions of dollars in exchange for her silence?
Shelly G
Your points are well taken.
I still get a chuckle out of how often she would talk shit about feminist, and now she wants to "empower" women. hilarious
chelleoj And you being jealous? ha!
I have always liked and respected Gretchen Carlson.
You are a brave woman!
I really liked her on that morning show on Fox years ago, Fox and Friends. She was great. But I do remember at the time she had replaced a well liked host in that spot. So not sure what happened but some said it was unfair Gretchen ousted her. I did think She did a great job there though.
Men need help.
Thank you Gretchen Carlson for standing up for yourself and every women. You have truly made a difference 🥰🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
These men underestimated her.
Why is there such a thing as a non disclosure agreement? Why are admissions of guilt kept secretive when admitted wrongdoing should always be made public. It appears that money is at the root again of this miscarriage of justice. Enough money buys protection from criminal prosecution, and that should never be OK.
That female reporter was a viper
What an accurate description.....she was in dire need of anasswoopin too
That reporter must have worked for National Enquirer. Poor Gretchen.
@@ahavens2463well it's not hard to push gretchen Carlson lol. That interviewer turned her from a big fluffy teddy bear into a rug!😂🐻☁️
I am sending my daughter to self defence classes as soon as she starts school.
She dealt with it as much as she could to further her career and finally she had enough...Had enough presence to slay the hippo.
You know Gretchen Carlson used her so called good looks to try and get over and ahead in the entertainment world and when those scumbags took advantage of her she cried foul. It comes with the territory.
Fuck off
regulater 5 creep
fuck you
What an amazing,brave women!!!
