I've got 2 Bastinelli knives, the Big Dragotac in M390 and the Safe in Magnacut. My Safe took a screaming sharp 17 degree mirror polished edge. It has held its edge pretty well, strops up great. Wish we knew the rockwell hardness on these Italian knives. Chicago knifeworks still has the Safe in stock at the same price DLT was selling them for.

Very nice. I was just looking at that the other day. It might go on my wish list.

I recently bought the Bastinelli Safe. I despise the frame lock, its really stiff and sharp. This is not a fidget knife. When I opened it up half a dozen of the bearings were rusted. Its def a great looking knife but its rough on the thumb for any 1 handed use.

I'll have to check mine, but the bearing seem fine and I don't mind a tight action on a knife that I don't want to close unexpectedly.
