You are simply the greatest Ps teacher. I dont know if its the accent, the tone of your voice, your friendly face, the amazing tips and tricks, great explanations and great topics you cover. THANK YOU for everything.
I am speechless. I have a photo with so much glare on my friend's eyeglasses that I thought was hopeless. I was about to tell him the bad news that I couldn't help him to fix the problem...until I watched your tutorial!!! I practiced three times and on the fourth time, it was almost perfect! Good as new! Thank you very much for sharing! You are the best PS teacher.
Have you ever thought of doing a full A-Z Photoshop video tutorial course where anyone wanting to learn Photoshop can just sit through systematically from the beginning and learn all the major skills required? Something similar to a course like Deke McClelland's Photoshop One-on-One courses but with you, as you're a great educator and your style of teaching is really great for this medium!
I also have a Wacom tablet. It’s been essential to my work. It have been dropped, scratched and still works. The pen works well with brush sensitivity on. Great tutorials. Many thanks.
@@hahahahaahhahahaahah I use an XP-Pen Star G960 which costs about $70. Performance is very similar to Wacom. It's lightweight and rugged. The stylus is my one criticism. The button takes a lot of use to get used to. It's black on black and hard to feel. You can get smaller tablets for about half that price, but some are too small to be comfortable in use. At first I couldn't quickly find it to use it and other times I would click accidentally. Not a problem anymore. I can afford a Wacom tablet, but I'm not a heavy, daily Photoshop user and there aren't enough performance differences to justify the cost.
Sorry to be the dog in the manger BUT, I suggest everyone save themselves a lot of time by removing the lenses from the eyeglass frame and posing the subject and shooting without the lenses. My point here is not to lose sight of the objective. In this case removing the lens glare. Without lenses we have no glare or colour aberration to deal with. One could easily add some very subtle understated reflection to convince the audience there is actually glass lenses in the frame. A much more direct fix for this type of edit IMHO. That stated, you did mention that your tutorial would be your fix for a post shoot edit and is very well presented. I have learned so much from your channel and thank you for your skillful tutorials. BTW, shooting the subject while wearing glasses with the lenses removed was A tip from a photographer who immigrated from Egypt to Toronto Canada and made a very successful career here. He photographed many of Canada's elite people.
Not only you have the knowledge, but also you transmit your knowledge very well. You're such a great teacher that Adobe should made you their ambassador!
Thank you so much! I have some Photoshop experience but had no clue how to do this. My partner and I just got back from a trip to Japan and being able to touch up photos like this has helped me enormously.
I love your channel, and you have a WEALTH of Photoshop knowledge. I am a photographer, and someone who was fortunate enough to have mentors who taught me to achieve every possible thing I can 'in' camera, and let post be a tool to enhance, not correct. If you're photographing someone wearing glasses, I'd suggest placing your lighting to their side (side lighting) allowing you to still achieve some gorgeous light on you're subject, without the glare of a light source that's causing this issue in the first place. This is still a great tutorial, it just feels aimed at photographers who want to solve everything in post and ignore understanding the basic fundamentals of lighting. Light is everything.
I don’t have a pc , I don’t use photoshop, i have nothing related to photoshop and I don’t like photoshop so much, BUT 90% OF THE YT CONTENT I WATCH IS YOURS ABOUT PHOTOSHOP!!! why am i enjoying so muchhhh??!
Every time I tune to your videos, I truly enjoy and learn a lot from the topic. I though to add that if someone finds the pace of your presentation a bit fast, they can change it (if they are signed in in UA-cam). From the settings icon on the lower right, open the "Playback Speed" and choose a slower pace; for me .75 will do perfect! Giving me time to absorb the information as you go. BTW, I love your presentation style! Professional, friendly and encouraging...
I love your tutorials, Outstanding! Your knowledge, the tone of your voice, your friendly warm demeanor, your beautiful sensibility & face adds to my pleasure of learning. I so appreciate the sharing of your knowledge. Keep Sorted & Safe. Ta!
When taking a photograph in that situation, you can use a polarizing filter. If you don't, I agree that this is a good tutorial to remove the glare in post.
I'm from Poland. My knowledge of English is very poor, so I use a translator. Thanks to your tutorials I learn a lot about how to use Photoshop. This tutorial gave me the opportunity to solve a problem that I've been "fighting" for a long time. THANK YOU VERY MUCH :). I have a question, I think the topic is similar. How to eliminate light reflections on the face of the photographed person? I will be grateful for your help. Greetings.
Used to use a Wacom tablet, but Windows machines are storming out ahead with Wacom screens. Thinkpad Yoga P40 w/ Bamboo Pro pen FTW. Anyway, you are a shaman, doing a service to the community, bravo Sir.
When I saw this video, I was like, "HOW is that going to be possible?" but thankfully you said what you said at the beginning. It was still an interesting video to watch your approach towards this edit. Lovely end results for it as well.
this looks amazing. Mine that I was working with had a rectangle 'green' glare in it, so hard to fix that. I got it to the best point I could. but not perfect by any means , I'm sure you could do it. You are fantastic
Unsemsh your videos are excellent, you are great teaching, you are to be congratulated ... continue as soon as we thank you ... I have a doubt, when I save the photo on the computer and then I will look on the phone the color is different, as I do to have the exact color of the one I saved in photoshop? Because whenever I pass the photo to the cell phone the color is different .. Thanks

Actually every time I come to this channel, the tips are great, but the English grammar bothers me. The most common mistake is "more better" "more lighter" etc. You are not supposed to use "more" with better, it would either be one or the other.
You do know that you are literally THE best instructor of Photoshop, yes? Thanks for all of the resources. And BTW- how did you smooth your skin for your video?
Yes I think you can. And the whole point is the image should have enough details to be recovered. If the glares cover everything, just take a new shot:)
As soon as I begin painting with the brush on the Burn layer, it creates a new layer that the changes go on instead of the burning layer like it does on his. Can tell me how to get it to stay on the correct layer?
You are really the Master of Photoshop. I have learnt so many things from you and still learning. You are my Idol. I want to meet you. Please come Bangladesh if you get time.
I wish you would come to the USA and teach our people how to speak in complete sentences (Subject + Verb + Object.) Few of our people know how to speak intelligently, due to our very poor public education system here (and it is getting wordse by the day, especially in our big cities.) Probably 75% of our high school graduates could not identify the noun and the verb in a sentence. But YOUR verbal presentation is OUTSTANDING. Thank you for holding high the banner of good linguistic ocommunication !

Once again, you're a genius teacher. Pacing, review, reassurance....everything fantastic. Thank you!
The last step of grouping all the edit layers and gradually reducing the opacity to subtly bring back the glare for a natural look is very helpful.
You're just amazing. You make Photoshop look simple.
