- Avatar: The Last Airbender - Zuko vs Zhao Fight Scene in full HD & 60fps.
After playing around with some frame interpolation software and video enhancers, I thought it would be a cool idea to 'remaster' the Zuko vs Zhao fight scene from episode 3 of Avatar. I really like how it turned out as well.

Yo I remaster avatar vids too and I have a couple questions about some settings. If you have a discord or something would you be down to talk?
uhh well this is the only one on my channel because the others I made got copyright claimed in 90% of countries, so I sorta gave up on Avatar for now to stick to videos that won’t get taken down. Although if you have any ideas: Fanton#0563
Looks better then most 60fps “remasters” but still sucks

do guys not notice that if its "remastered" in 60 fps, and the animation is two frames per mili-second, its looks fucking horrible
some shots do look awful because they weren't animated in 24fps but 12fps instead, and thus the frame merging doesn't work. I still think most of it looks pretty dope though

@@purple_fedora with anime it's different because there's no consistency between frames, so it doesn't work (apart from some monogatari scenes and the like) Also noodle is totally right with his argument, I would hate to watch the entirety of avatar like this. I just thought it looked cool for this scene that already had pretty flulid animation

@@purple_fedora Yeah we get it. But some people like or prefer 60fps. It depends on the scene, the original fps and some other factors. It also hugely depends on what software you use to generate the extra frames. AI generated frames will look much better than those created from simple interpolation algorithms. If you do it right, higher framerates will always look better. I don't think that anyone seriously prefers 6 or 12fps. Sure the 12fps original will look better than some 60fps weirdly generated shit but if the original artist would have animated it in higher framerates it would probably look better. And with the original having more frames the interpolation will also look mucb better. Going from 6 to 60fps will obviously look really bad. 30 to 60fps will look really good.

What would have happened if Zuko and Zhao faced each other at the peak of their firebending arts?
@qbgrindddd well it wouldn't be murder in the culture of the fire nation to kill your opponent in an agni kai the fire duel
@qbgrindddd you mean that in the sense of representing zuko would necessarily be more powerful and competent than zhao even if both were at their full potential with their fire masteries
@qbgrindddd in season 1 episode 16 the deserter it is explained that jeong jeong did not succeed in getting his former student to listen to his teachings and respect the disciplines of firebending since zhao everyone who interested him was only power destroyer of firebending and nothing else not even learning the basics of firebending
@qbgrindddd yes but if zhao had followed the teachings of his jeong jeong and had learned to master the firebending style of the warriors of the sun perhaps he would have become a more formidable firebender and competent in firebending than in the main story of the animated series

what would have happened if zuko and zhao had learned to master all the rare masteries of firebending and also learn to master all fire control techniques and also learn to block chi and also learn to master all fighting techniques and also learn to master all styles of fighting and also learn to master all martial arts and also learn to master all weapons
