I actually have wondered if she has some language processing issues. I think there are several clues to that-including the wifey repeating.
It can be tied to OCD or delays from a traumatic childhood…

1. She takes it all out.
2. Then donates/tosses most of it (at least 75%).
3. Then puts what's left back in in an *aesetically pleasing* way.
4. Buy more ish.
5. Toss in area haphazardly.
6 months later repeat cycle.
It's like she's pretending to do things.

100% right. Plus, there’s only so many activities she is *able* to do being at home everyday. During the lockdown I took on several home projects that I was putting off, but after that I can’t imagine being so bored that I reorganize the same things over and over to attain some sense of accomplishment. Oh Amber. If nothing changes, nothing changes. 🤷♀️

On the donations thing: if what you have doesn’t fit with the shelter needs, literally just put it up on marketplace for free. Lots of people are struggling this time of year, when I’ve had extras (clothes, food I won’t eat, etc) someone has always gratefully taken it off my hands. Always better than waste

You know, I was thinking about all this organization she does lately. She keeps saying how they need to mop the floor, clean the apartment & put away her new torrid clothing. She never ends up doing those chores, but starts “organizing” instead. It’s like she chooses to organize so she feels accomplished, but all the things that need to be done still are not done.
Thank you for doing the research.
If I ever went back to school to get a PhD, I’d probably write a dissertation on her cycles. It would be interesting to gather the data and run different scenarios through a statics program.

maybe the upstairs neighbors started banging pots and pans because amber has been *yelling* all day. imagine having that all day, every day...
i'm speaking from my experience aka having a hoarder parent and later unfortunately also becoming a hoarder: organizing things is super fun, like i love doing it despite living in mess. my place rn is cluttered to the point of having to jump over piles of stuff. the thing is i love organizing but i guess i'm not interested in changing my ways so it keeps getting messy over and over again. i keep thinking how i need to change and do a deep clean, but i never do :/ sadly i relate to how amber buys a lot of junk bc i'm like that, compulsive shopping habbits that result in living above my means. it's hard to find a therapist that even knows what hoarding really is, i've been trying for 10+ years

hoarding is a symptom of ADHD and OCD which could be interesting to explore 🥰
@@rosexo7286 well to me it's more tied to repeating the cycle of abuse (making your kids/pets/family members live in a hoarder den is abuse imho, there erre other things going on as well) since that's all i ever known growing up and it's my idea of "safe". i have chronic depression and possibly adhd but to me they are kinda separate issues.

I have both to a paralyzing degree throughout my life and my kitchen and bathrooms I will not tolerate a single drop of water on the floor, Tupperware and the cheaper versions are nightly bleached, I've scrubbed off the porcelain in parts of our 1940's house that now I need to reenamel but every other room is a complete disaster. We haven't bothered unpacking really in like 8 months. It's all or nothing. Perfection or complete disorder. I've had this issue my entire life. If I wasn't absolutely positive a paper would be not just good but the VERY best in classes of 400-500 people, I wouldn't turn in the finished assignment. Not shockingly, I attended 5 Universities. I was finally medicated for ADHD in my 30's and it was a miracle. My parents always joked that they just let me go to bed whenever I wanted because they couldn't stay up and as young as two, I slept around 3-4 hours a night and continued to do so. Never occurred to anyone that I had a learning disability (ADHD) or perhaps toddlers shouldn't be up at all hours. I developed terrible OCD prior to having my ADHD recognized and developed anorexia and although I'm in long term recovery, I have recently caught myself counting things again. I'm experiencing extreme anxiety (partly life, partially heart problems which cause resting HR of 200 ,so hard to sleep even if I could) but I was really disturbed when my husband pointed out some of my OCD stuff I thought I was "hiding". Ugh, living in anxiety is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. I hope you find peace and sending my love and blessings ❤
@@pandaw2727 I can so relate to the counting and I also focus on my kitchen and bathrooms, they always clean, the rest of my house is disorganized, I get so much anxiety I can't even start.

my upstairs neighbors set off their smoke alarm one day and instead of trying to turn it off, they just all screamed until it turned off by itself. i luckily was at work but my girlfriend was home and heard it all and relayed the experience to me 😂

I am so sick and tired of the lipedema excuse. "My stamina's not great because of the lipedema." No, it's not great because she weighs over 520 lbs and doesn't get any cardiovascular exercise. I love watching Zach--but I am getting so sick of Amberlynn.

Amber is a little like me in that case probably… she’s too lazy to maintain a normal cleaned pantry and clean a little every day but instead hyper cleans and over organizes once every few months and then lets it get to the point of dirty again that she can just repeat the cycle and just deep clean it once again..
Edit: difference is i got diagnosed medicated OCD and do it for “safety” reasons and she seems just actually too lazy, she didn’t even clean it right.
Their relationship is just weird, they seem like young kids hanging out and doesn't know how to be like normal adults. I could not ever act this way with my husband, he would think I've lost my mind.!!

Seems like she has that grabber so that she doesn’t have to step up into the pantry for stuff, she stands outside and grabs what she wants. I’m pretty sure she did not step in and out of that pantry and move two things at a time nor did she use that grabber to move 1 item at a time, wifey definitely helped!

@@bimbozos WLS would be a waster of money for her. I had it and I know it is easy to gain the weight back. I had it two years ago and have maintained my weight but I have to work hard every day to follow a plan because it is easy to just graze on food all day.

That’s how I’ve been interpreting it. Also whenever wifey calls her baby she ALWAYS repeats it back in that “baAayyyy-beEeEeeeeEhhhhhh” voice 😖
I might be reading too much into it, but Amberlynn repeating everything wifey says for the camera gives off microagression red flags for me. She never did this with any of her white partners. It's like because Faline has a deeper register and is black, Amber thinks her audience wouldn't be able to understand her, so she feels the need to translate. It could just be that Amberlynn thinks the camera can't pick Faline's voice up from a distance...However, I do get a slight impression of Amberlynn feigning a sense of "otherness" and separation with how disingenuous Amber comes off, and how put on their conversations feel sometimes. I get that people sometimes change how they talk depending on their partner, but this is past quirky private time conversations between partners.
It reads this way for me too, but I don’t know if I’m reading into it, and I’m not from that community so it’s not for me to be offended on their behalf.. but I think we can say it’s potentially problematic.

I have personal experience with this. I think ALR repeats Wifey because she couldn't care less what Wifey is saying, so she repeats certain words she says to make Wifey think she's interested lol. My son is 11 and is obsessed w Fortnite. I do this exact same thing with him when he tells me about his maps for longer than 10 minutes lol.

For donations one thing that is often overlooked is menstraul sanitary products. So if you're wanting to donate that is always a very helpful donation, or calling schools to pay off student lunch debt and maybe giving some extra.

You are a much better person than me. I don't understand this constant need to be understanding towards ALR when she's out there "trying to find her sympathy bone" for people who had heart attacks. So, why should we always be cuddling and showing sympathy towards her? I will be when she stops being a narcissist and gets over herself.
