These mushrooms are amazing! Used the Napa Valley Grand Reserve. Sautéed one of my prepared salads with red and orange bell peppers and red onions. Used in a bowl with long grain brown rice and navy beans. Really satisfying quick supper. Thanks for the recipe..
thanks Tami! I've made using smoked paprika, will try your version. If the mushrooms are firm and not too big, a repurposed egg slicer makes short work of slicing into very uniform widths. I like them as a salad topper!
These mushrooms are so delicious! I didn't have the Smoked Hickory Balsamic Vinegar so I sub'd with regular balsamic (mine had 6% acidity so I just added a bit of date syrup to it) and added my own liquid smoke. Turned out super flavorful. Been adding this to a simple bowl of rice and steamed veggies. Thanks for another great recipe NMNB!
Make sure you use it sparingly because it can get too strong if you use too much. Start with just a drop or two, mix, and taste. You can always add more if you like. Speaking...from experience.LOL
@@mi2maui I haven’t tried air frying them but you could try it. I don’t like to air fry things that have a sauce or a lot of liquid because it makes a mess of the air fryer!
@@christinepeters7110 I don’t think the grand reserve is available in organic. They have a regular balsamic in organic but it’s not the thick sweet vinegar.

Why can't I fry them up in a pan on low heat instead of putting on the big oven
That could be an option - I use my toaster oven and like the hands off cooking time.
