As strong as you are, though; don't forget to cry, don't forget to hug whoever you need to. You are an absolutely beautiful soul. Keep fighting! We all want to see you get better.

Yes, but the doctors don’t bring you to the chemo sessions, they don’t ensure you attend every sessions and diligently follow protocol. Other than administering the a treatment, everything is on you. It’s a brutal process that many can’t handle, especially follow up treatments if the initial rounds don’t work.
Doctors can only help as much as the patient shows up and adheres to the treatment. I can tell you as someone who’s actually training to become a physician, when it comes to cancer treatments, doctors have the easy job. It’s a whole lot easier to administer a medication and come up with a treatment plan than it is to actually be the one allowing themself to be poisoned (because that’s what chemo really is) for months on end.
Don’t underestimate your role in improving your health.

Ask the doctors to surgically remove it, even if they say it's too big and they don't want to do it, just tell them i want it off my body even if that means disfigurment of my body, just get it out girl, chemo and rays can work, but it takes time, the longer you remain with this the bigger the spreading chances, sometime patients go through the long process of reducing a tumor for it can be surgically removed and they do end up removing it, but then little did they know is that during all that time the tumor had planted little seeds over different parts of the body, seeds too little to be detected on the scans, then they go on with their lives and a few months later, they feels sick, they go get a routine scan and there is cancer ever fucking where, do not remain for too long with this, ask for a resection, tell them how you feel, document yourself as much as you can so that you can always challenge every single person you encounter in the medical field, I think it was you who said your pick line was getting infected or something like that and they did not listen and it ended up getting infected ? Do you want to know why ? Because the medical system is a pride one and a rigid one, its not a disruptive one, they want to do as little as possible and they are not about doing a small act twice so that they can avoid doing a bigger one, and your pick line ended up being changed very soon after anyway. If you have had the knowledge, and the exeperience, you could have argued witht them for them to change it and less time and energy would have been wasted, once yo'uve read cases you can even lie and tell them one of your relative got the same problem, and for said reason you dont want it to happen to you, it's the internet era, the emporwement era, they won't question any of what you say so long as you sound confident in your statements, Typically in this very exemple, you could have said something like, my ant got the same thing and we ended up having to change the pickline very soon after, i demand that you bring a doctor and i want it changed before it gets infected even further. These people are off course trying to help you and cure of of your desease, but what you need to understand is that, it's not these very people that intend to cure you, it's the system they are a part of, a rigid system that is just pulling cards in the orders they are supposed to be pulled for your type of problem, but there is always room for improvement, typically if i was wrong about that, well they would have listened to you about your pick line, they did not, because this was a bug in the system, doctors, nurses, don't have skin in the game, it's just a job for them, here is a piece of advice you should never forget. In life there is this concept called, "skin in the game". This concept can be applied to pretty much everything in life. People who don't have skin in the game can't be fully trusted to take the best possible decisions, why ? Because they don't have skin in the game, here the skin is yours, you have skin in the game, this skin you have in the game, is your life... A trader when placing money, when swaping actions, it's not his own money he does that whith, it's the company's money, therefore be sure he won't always take the best decisions, because he won't bother to alays get the best informations possible to increase the chance for the opperation to be successful, if instead he was doing this with his own money, be sure he would maximize the odds for the opperation to be successful. For this reason seek as much litterature as you can, always double check, triple check every piece of information given to you, seek every single litterature you can find on your type of cancer and read it many times, learn about everysingle solutions, this way you always have a pro active conversation with every single praticionner you ll come across, sugest your opinion and see how they react, you ll also be able to spot when they're not telling you everything, this way if they tell you they don't want to do something, you can counter argument and say actually there is that person this and that, this of course also inply you've got to read cases litterature as much as possible, litterature from people who have had the exact same cancer located in the exact same area, if it takes getting an online subscription to cochrane or any other scientific litterature website then do it, it ll be worth it, i'm not saying you should spent your whole time on that, but so long as your life expectancy is good, do it while you can, while you have the energy. I don't mean to scare you, all i'm saying is you gotta think about this skin in the game thing, because doctors and specialist are never gambling with their own money. They of course have your own interest in mind, to a certain extent though. My sister work in a hospital and he often hears stories. In france sometime people have to wait for quite a long time to get a echography or a pet scan, but one time in her hospital, there was this doctor whom had been feeling dizzy for a while, you know what he did ? He just straight went for all the machines he could get his hands, on, did the exams himself, did not wait for any period of time he got to do everything in a single day, and he found out he had a pancreatic tumor in a early stage, For most people pancreatic cancer is not only diagnosed when its too late, but you only get a 5% chance of survival to five years. He got to find out quickly and to treat it quickly, and to remove it quickly and he is fine, and you want to know why ? Because he is a doctor and because he had skin in the game. Do not wonder why you found out once your tumor the size of a snowing ball, because people probably never listened to you and had no skin in the game when you told them you felt awkward. The is two medical world, one for the rich people and the doctors and one for us the civil population.
People up this comment so that she reads it and increase her chances to get the best.

I love the story about your weekend 💕 Reminded me of my own life changing story.
When I was 19 I left Sweden to travel the world by my self. 6 month in I met a Swedish guy in Indonesia. On this tiny little island with almost no tourists at all. Long story short.. Had the most amazing 24h. Before I was leaving for... New Zealand!
Six month later we still kept in touch. Emailing each other every other day. When I got back to Sweden we though we just HAD the meet up. See what was really going on. And so we did....
Yesterday we celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary. 14 years together. With two beautiful boys 10 and 8 years old.
Keep fighting, you’re truly an inspiration💪🏻❤️

Hey girl! We're picc line sisters! If you have any questions about central lines/piccs, I'm basically an expert after having so many over the years. It's our lifeline! Remember, staying positive helps our immune systems, but it's also important to allow yourself to grieve as much as you need to. Scream, cry, pray, vent to friends...do whatever you need to do to help yourself cope. Just don't ever give up!!! Lots of love

My point of view both of you lucky are. Actually i am envy about that guy. I'll tell you why. So i use to wondering wich one is worse: to live a long time alone with not so much a lot good memories without love(me) or maybe live a short live with lots of good memories and someone who loves you. If i could choose ,i would choose the short live. I'm 33 and believe me the loneliness even worst sometimes. I just have hoping one day i will find someone like you. I wish the best for you! :)

On Etsy you can buy piccline covers if you don’t already know. I’ve gotten some cool ones. If you have sensitive skin just make sure to tell the person making it and they will set you up with a nice fabric. Also pro tip if I’ve been going places or doing lots of activities in a day generally I use an alcohol prep on the port tubing and cover. Also changing out the piccline cover regularly and washing them may help lessen infection. I was very uptight about keeping my piccline clean. If you ever want to talk more about a piccline or any other medical devices let me know I’d be glad to help you out as best I can.
