    Usual quality review we've all come to expect from you Phil. Thanks.
    You're right about the oversize storage bag to make repacking easier and the padded peg bag.
    Both are definitely good ideas and show that the
    manufacturers have done their research.🤗

      Hi Martin, Thanks. This is a great canopy not the cheapest but you get a great canopy that will last. Thanks Phil🙂👍

    Looks a nice awning, we went off the air system, as the air beams took up a lot of space inside, will be interesting to see how you get on. ATB Mark & Coral👍

      Thanks Mark and Coral. Yes we will see how it performs. Had it out twice and not issues as yet. Thanks Phil🙂👍

    We only used ours once and then sold it, it took as long to peg out as our 325 air awning. We just use that now and have the flexibility of having the sides and front up or down depending on the weather. 👍🏻👍🏻

      @lostweekendscaravan  2 роки тому

      Thanks Ade. Yes you can be more flexible with an awning. It doesn't take that long to peg out but I suppose its each to their own in terms of choice and usage. Thanks Phil🙂👍

      @@lostweekendscaravanits all in the pegs m8 😂😂
      There was only 4 pegs less than our 325 air by the time you do all the side skirts and guy ropes. But like you say each to there own.

      Hi Ade. It just goes to show there is little difference when pegging out the two. I have to admit I don't fully peg it out. I know I should but it works fine for me. Thanks again for your valid comment. Phil🙂👍

    Nice looking canopy - interesting to balance it against purchase and practicality of a full / porch awning given the £350+ price tag. Look forward to final review after long road test

      Hi Howard. Yes this retails around £376. A Porch Awning is a similar price but not everyone wants an Awning especially for weekends. We have used this one twice so far and its been very good however time will tell. Thanks for watching. Phil🙂👍

    Looks easy to put up, much better than messing with a full awning.

    That looks just what we want, like the flexibility. We currently have an Isabella Shadow Canopy, which we love. looked at purchasing side panels, £217 each 😱.

    • @lostweekendscaravan
      @lostweekendscaravan  2 роки тому

      Hi John. Yes the side panels are expensive we had a shadow but sold it due to the side panels being so costly. We have been using this Starcamp a few times now and not had any issues. I had the sides off last week due to the heat and it worked well. Very pleased. Hunt around for the best price. Thanks Phil👍🙂

    looks like a nice canopy. How do you find the groundsheet and carpet on the gravel of the hard standing pitch? do you find the gravel pierces the ground sheet and that it is uncomfy to walk on?

    • @lostweekendscaravan
      @lostweekendscaravan  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Andy. A good question. In the video you'll notice we have 2 carpets down. We actually only use the Top Carpet and the Green decore Rug. The top carpet is a thick, tight woven one and is quite comfortable to walk on in bare feet. We have not had any issues with stones coming through it. I think in this case you get what you pay for. Try and buy the best you can afford is my rule with carpets, we have had cheap ones and they are not great at all. Hope this helps Phil🙂👍

    Hello, do you have experience with the winter season? What is your comment on the winter season condition of that air tent? I want to buy that model, but I feel the winter performance might be poor. Thanks.

    • @lostweekendscaravan
      @lostweekendscaravan  2 роки тому

      Hello. We use the Canopy till October. We do not Caravan into full winter for health reasons. I think you might be better off with an Awning for Winter and use this for Spring to Autumn. I will be filming my conclusion very soon but I have very pleased with its performance so far. Thanks Phil👍🙂

    When you unzipped the window and pushed it to the side, can you roll them up and tie back?

      Hi Jaques Yes they do, they have toggles to hold them secure. Hope this helps. Phil👍🙂
