Thanks Phil ,another great video ,we have this exact same awning ( 385 ) for weekend breaks and love it too ,we manage to fit 4 dog beds ,a compressor cool box ,a camping cupboard and a table and 2 chairs 🙂and of course our 4 border collies😀We purchased a roof liner and find it very good .
Hi lynn. It is a very spacious awning as you can vouch. It gave us a lot more breathing space when Alfie was with us. I will look into the roof liner. Thanks so much. Phil. 🙂👍🇳🇱
Thanks for another great review. We've just bought the 225 version for our little caravan. We chose this one because it was a good price and included the ladder bands and storm straps too. Looking forward to trying it out.
Hi Phil, looks a nice awning, but like you said earlier, there's only the two of us now and we are going the other way, looking for a simple canopy just to keep the sun off. Thanks for sharing Mark👍
Hi Phil ! The 'colour-way' [is that a word?] looks really smart against your c'van. And how clever to provide an over size bag. Did I miss the price £ point ? Right better get a wiggle on - got to move the caravan over the drive to do some serious pruning...😅
Hi Martin. Thanks for watching. This the awning you mentioned in one of your previous comments. The price if you search the internet can be as low as £450. RRP is £500. Considering the current price of a air awning these days it quite cheap. Holland is lovely. Cheers Phil 🙂👍🇳🇱
Nice Phil we have a Kampa 390 plus which we love but its heavy and needs two of us to put up. ( we don’t have the Kampa pulley system) This would be ideal for short breaks now to persuade Mrs Rim. Wish me luck.
Hi Gareth. Thanks for your question. I don’t know who is saying it has a built in ground sheet. This not true it comes with draught skirt but no carpet that’s why I didn’t mention it. The carpet in the video is mine. Hope this helps. Thanks Phil 🙂👍
Hi great review just wandering why hight is the awning as we have the similar caravan could you let me know what height you awning is please as ours says its higher than 250 in gact 259 so not sure hpw to proceed Thanks in advance
Hi I am not sure of the height but if your van is similar to mine this will fit no problem. As you can see in the video the roof slopes away from the van. I hope this helps. Phil 🙂👍
Hi Phil I have to agree. I have added eyelets to the skirt of the sun canopy. I think I’ll do the same to the awning. They do help prevent it flapping about. Hope this helps Phil. 🙂👍
@@lostweekendscaravan Iv got in touch with a company that will add some for us tbf they should be on the awning in the first place but apart from that it’s a good awning another down point is if the ground is slightly off it doesn’t pitch good with being blown air thanks phil 👍
While these air awnings are light weight and are great to put up ..but be aware they will generally only last for around 5 yrs as sun does degrade the material
Hi. I think you are correct. Poled ones have a life span as well. I think most things have a shelf life today. This awning is one of the cheapest of the higher brand awnings on the market at present. About £450 so I suppose you get what you pay for. Thanks Phil 🙂👍

Hi mark. Thanks for watching. I understand. We are away using the sun canopy version at present. Which we love. Cheers Phil 🙂👍🇳🇱

Hi Colin. It is very and easy to put up. Good luck with Mrs R🫰thanks Phil 🙂👍🇳🇱🍺
Great video but a pity you did not show how easy it might be to put it up.
Hi. I considered showing putting it up but it is not that easy to film when you are on your own. Thanks Phil. 👍🙂
Good video. The ads say it has a built in groundsheet but you haven’t mentioned it. Does it have a built in groundsheet?, thank you

We have had two of these and find them good but they don’t put enough pegging points on them when the wind gets up the skirts flap about.
