Hi there, I'm picking my baby up this Friday. I was watching your video and I noticed you have only given him one heat lamp. Wouldn't you be better of with 3 or 4 in a row so the hole of him is getting heat instead of it heating that one patch up that will later on burn as they stay under the single lamp longer to try heat the hole of there body. When there are multiple lamps they can be hirer up and would be less dangerous for you stunning little one. If I am wrong please say. You have experience as all I have been doing is my research on these.
Hey Richard, you are correct. Having multiple lights is better than one small hot spot. Once he reached about 18'' I added another light, I've done this with all my monitors. I also rebuild the lights so they can't climb on them and get burned. Enjoy your new reptile!
