With all what's going on in the world, we need something like this, thanks Jay, stay safe.
I love watching Jay Leno's Garage. My favourite cars have always been old-school cars up to the 1980s.
What’s all going on ? But yeah you’re correct
Why what happened?
Jay Leno most positive thing coming out of California nowadays. Thanks Jay.
The only positive thing, I'd say.
Jay's on FIRE!
Oh, wait, too soon?
A lot of smoke and nothing but hot air
@sgbobsg are you referring to the bill that decriminalized giving AIDS intentionally to someone or the bill that lowered sentences for pedophilia from a few days ago?
@sgbobsg i care :)
Dude your GodFather bit was GREAT!🤣
It ain't nuttin poisenal, ya understand? It's just a broken shift cable. Ya know what I'm sayin?
I had the world's biggest smile when he said his favorite car was his 85 Oldsmobile Delta 88!! I definatley can relate!!
awesome car!
Our last station wagon was an '85 Olds 88 Custom Cruiser with the Rocket V8. Kids loved it. A great car to go camping in case the weather got really bad. Lots of room.
I would take the 85 Olds before a 55-57 Chevy. I never had an interest in them.
@@stepheng3667 I always liked the 55 and the 57 Bel-Air but I know that I would never be able to afford a restored model. But I do have my moms 1984 Olds 98. Lol.
Do you remember the diesel version of this car as a mechanic mechanic they kept me busy
"Comedians WITH Cars Getting Pizza". Could give Jerry a run for his money.
My thoughts exactly.
DSDS: Yes, I would watch that every day!
@@pneumatic00 Me too
Jerry is as entertaining as already dried paint.
@@TheImtoomuch good to hear from you, did you get that paint? thanks Rob
Thanks for giving us Billy Gardell, really enjoyed this.
6:55 Jay speaking of his Grandfather’s Culinary Observations:
‘look at that Chinese guy with a 🌭 Hotdog, Black guy with a Bagel 🥯 look at that“ 🤣😂😅
Oh no! Cultural appropriation!
I love the history. His knowledge is amazing.
You two are hilarious together. LOL
Love 56 Chevys. I had a Nomad from ‘74 to 2015. Raised my kids in that car. Wonderful road car
JAY LENO, YOU THE MAN, from Tennessee - i love you dude
Hell yeah another tennesseean
I just absolutely love this man and this UA-cam channel. Thank You for helping this old man get through these "troubled" times Jay Leno! Fred
Hi Fred how are you doing. I trust you are safe and in good health.... I'm looking for new friend.
@@mariarusso8239 Hello Maria!
I am doing well, thank you for asking. I hope that you are also doing well. It was nice of you to "reach out" to me and introduce yourself. I hope that you have a pleasant weekend Maria.
Cheers,
Fred
Fred Roeder Nuce to meet you Fred. I'm doing fine with all that's going on. I hope you don't mind my friendship I live in Long Beach Ok!
From a disabled old man I agree with you their both amazing
This was a beautiful comedic moment, I loved you two guys together, it was awesome 👍☮️🇺🇲
Big pizza, big cars, big engines, big people. God bless this land of excess. Haters can suck it.
Justin Wright you’re excessive in the brainless and negativity areas.
I know I'm in the minority but 56 is my favorite year of those.
Yeah, thay look mean like a mussel car should!!....it lookis lke it would punch you out if you looked at the wrong way!!. 😎🏁🇺🇸
I agree. Less fin. Much more timeless than the 57.
I owned a yellow 57 2dr post 350 4-speed 3.36 posi but i love all tri-fives.
@mjncad it's true.
I remember a time when it seemed like everyone had a tri-5 Chebie.
If you didn't own one, you knew someone who did. Parents, family members, friends, neighbors.....what a time!
Jay's face as they slid the monster dessert on to the table... priceless!
You just made an English guy laugh out loud. Thank you.
I just want to go and eat pizza,😁 Saludos jay from Tijuana Baja California Mexico 🤠✌️
yep i feel like pizza for dinner.. ill find someone to share it with
Nothing like an Olds Delta 88.!!. My father owned a few of those cars.. great memories
I had an 83 Delta 88 Brougham Oldsmobile
My mother had one, that same era/bodystyle as that 1985. I grew to like it. Certainly not as big as the early 1970's car I drove for a while, but big enough.
I love Jay, I love Mike and Molly, Billy and Italian Food, America, cars, and Comedy. A little slice of heaven right here boys.
I'so refreshing to see people talking, going to restaurants and eating pizza together. This Covid thing keeps all of that from happening. I hope we can do it again.
That thin crust pizza in the beginning looked really, really good.
BTW I learned to drive in a 55 Chevy. I was at the DMV on my 16th birthday at 8 AM.
Thanks Jay for continuing to do these videos during the difficult pandemic times!! 😷
Hi Christopher how are you doing. I trust you are safe and in good health.... I'm looking for new friend.
Absolutely gorgeous 1956 Chevy Bel-Air !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My first car in 1962 was a ‘56 Chevy 210 6 cyl. 2dr. 3 on the tree. I should say 2 on the tree because it always popped out of 3’d gear! I saved up $400 and my dad gave me $400 as a high school graduation gift. Brought back a lot of good memories. One Sat morning my father looked out into the driveway and said, “What’s all that crap on the rear side of the car?” Uh oh. I forgot one of my friends had a few too many and barfed out the back window as we drove home that only went down half way. LOL !! Great video guys!!
Jay’s comedy chops are still impeccable.
Billy seems like a genuine guy. I like him.
My fiancés favorite car.His grandfather had a four door red and white one.He and his grandparents used to get into it and drive to the store in MD.He has wonderful memories of those times in the sixties and seventies. Sitting here staying safe in September looking at stuff on the internet. Stay safe everyone and pray for our world.Saturday my teenage neighbor committed suicide. What a world we live in!
56 was my favorite. I was 10 years old. I wasn't the only one that liked the 56 chevy they set sales records that year.
I met Billy backstage at a gig in Pittsburgh a few years back.
Still waiting to meet you, Jay!
It’s nice seeing jay still uploading video, I would love to see his Mercedes 280se in a future video again.
To be fair, they're just uploading clips from past shows. The last few weeks of JLG on CNBC has been compilation shows.
Allen Portz what you mean no
My favorite Chevy from the 50's, best looking Chevy ever made! Never owned one, but did have a 55 2 door HT Bel Air for a few years.
One of the most beautiful cars ever made in my opinion.
Bring back Mike & Molly! Still watch the reruns most mornings.
Joke’s on you, I’m too poor to even know what «Bel Air» means.
Much love, your friends at Rev Media!!
That was short but brilliant. "I'll meet you in the middle".
" you hardly ate..."
"...around the 'S'"
Hey Billy, I'm from the Beechview section of Pittsburgh. Been here for 56 years.
Love Jay Leno's Garage . You're the best Jay
I love the look on Jay’s face when that came out. LOL!!!
Jay, you and Billy are absolutely wonderful in this episode. The banter between you is first class, and very amusing. I couldn't have wanted anything different.
Jay Leno has so much class with everyone. First class dude!!! It would be like hitting the lottery to hang out in his shop for a few days.
Jay and Billy, a matching pair. (Of course, Jay meshes with everybody, right?) The "Tri-fives" are always in style. Just out of high school ('58) I worked in a "Full Service" gas station and I wish I had a buck for every Tri-five I waited on! The '56 was a little fancier and the '57 has, IMHO, the best design of the Fin Era: they just seemed to flow with the wind of travel. Stay safe, everybody.
Very funny! Thanks for the laughs 😂 and the great 👍🏻 classic cars 🚙!
My Dad bought a used 54, then a 55, then a 56 and then a 58 Chevy. We missed out on the iconic 57 Chevy...Still nice cars...When I finally could afford a nice car for myself, I got a used 74 Eldorado in 'Waxberry Yellow' with matching leather interior. It was a rolling barge of comfort with power everything and I was making enough to not care about the 10 to 12 MPG. Still miss that boat of a car. Thing would float down the Thruway on cruise control going to visit the wife's Polish relatives in Utica...
In 1956 My Grandma was 58, and went out and bought a "56 210 sedan, white up top and green below. Now, that I think of it- I wonder why hers came with three on the tree and a 265.She was cooler than any of us thought.
I managed to get a '57 210,but it had the bread truck motor, what a wussymobile-I traded it for a '59 Chevy Convertible, and the motor was very sick at 70,000 showing.Only one of my Chevys was worth fixing, and it got hit and run.
GREAT SHOW,JAY. Uttsa matta you, no like-a pizza dat much ?
Nothing better than a trip around town with a friend in a 56
" Big Loud and Noisy " love it.
I love billy! What a great guy and a great car! Thanks jay for the video!
Thanks Jay! Another great episode.
I've eaten at that Pinocchio's on Magnolia 100 times-such a great place for quick Italian.
And of course Big Mama's and Pappa's GIANT pizza ... the printing company I worked for would get those for company events-delivered ironically in a "Mini" with a huge box on top for the delivery.
Loved the talk about downtown Pittsburgh's Liberty Ave., the local approach to the funny "Don't take things too seriously." And the Godfather thing was great! Beautiful car!
That was so much fun to watch. I laughed and enjoyed. Great car and fun times...American as it gets!
Love your knowledge about cars Jay. Miss you on the tonight show. Need more videos on the corvettes. My fav
"What's wrong with you? ...You hardly ate!" ...I nearly wet myself!
Hi Mark how are you doing. I trust you are safe and in good health.... I'm looking for new friend.
1956 has always been my favourite year for the Tri-Five Chevy Bel Air.
I was losin' there, when I saw youze eatin' pizza wid a fork & knife! (wadda coupla munga keks!). But I'm glad to see ya regained yer senses!
I was thinking people would notice that. I have to use a knife/fork because I have an overbite and I'll just pull the toppings off the crust trying to bite off a piece. Try to find the video where Jon Stewart flips out over Trump using a knife/fork. It's epic.
Watch a car video and get hungry! There go's my diet! Thanks Jay!
Wow, one of the nicest 56 Chevys I've seen. My dad was a Chevy mechanic. We once had 3 56's at the same time My dad had a two tone green and white wagon, my sister a black 4 door bel air and my brother a green and white two door post.
Man, remember the days when you would just pat somebody on the back and have a face to face conversion? good times!
a bunch of comedians locked in a building full of hot rods together, awesome XD
PINOCCHIO'S !! Love that place!! I take special trips there just for the meatballs!!
It's funny out of all of your videos this one truly is a treat for me. This is truly my favorite car in the world. A 1956 Chevy. It's sadl I'll die before getting to own one myself but at least the one man I've loved to watch on TV above all Jay Leno gives me the ability to see one gorgeous 56!!! Thanks Jay this meant a lot to me one awesome episode of Leno's Garage love you Jay thank you and tell me Jay since I'll never get to meet you or own a 56 one question please. Where have you been that has the best slice got to say theirs looked pretty amazing but dying to know....who makes Jay Leno's favorite slice of pizza?
Nothing better then two comedians driving around in a cool car, eating pizza and telling jokes. Jay and Bill are hilarious together!
I loved this one thanks for the memories.
Hi Roy how are you doing. I trust you are safe and in good health.... I'm looking for new friend.
That Olds 88 was a confortable sedan, easy riding, plush and effortless. Why don't they make big sedans like that anymore?
Because soccer moms are telling us we need SUVs. We DON'T need SUVs.
Hi Jay...more of this style and content PLEASE....absolute perfection....
Greetings from Australia...long time subscriber...
Cheers
Not everything beautiful is American, but everything American is beautiful... and THIS is beautiful
Jay Leno, the greatest car guy.
These two are just the best. Thanks.
Always liked Billy as a comedian now I like him as a car guy a great guest Jay
Only in America ! I love this country . Nice car .
I had a 56 chevy belair, 265 bored out to a 283, solid lifers, mag wheels 3 on the floor, painted metalic green. I bought it in 66 for 600 dollars
Hi how are you doing. I trust you are safe and in good health.... I'm looking for new friend.
That 1932 ford is MARVELOUS
J.L. ................THE GODFATHER OF ALL CAR GUYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Car repair, comedy, food, priceless !
Beautiful! Thank you dear Jay
The dessert, flying eagle and waving American flag got me! 😂
Fun as always, thanks Jay, one of my all time favorite cars I've driven a lot but never owned! 57 Olds J2 was my dad's olds and then mine. 👀👍
Hi Steven how are you doing. I trust you are safe and in good health.... I'm looking for new friend.
Holy crap - That desert was big enough for a small town. It was like that Submarine Sandwich that was almost sunk by a torpedo.
Thank God for the Italians! Some of the best food ever. My girlfriend is Italian, as well.
Black guy eating a bagel . . . love it
Definitely the best episode I've seen!
Brilliant, just fabulous!
Jay I really love your videos you're one of the best car enthusiast in the world. You explain everything really good. I just appreciate you Jay good job
Thank you very much, the word is crazy right now, and to have you put up this little piece brings back a little sanity to my day.
Once again, thank you.
I’ve watched a lot of episodes but this one has to be I the top 5...
2 great comedians, 2 great vehicles, and 2 heart attacks waiting to happen after that meal! lol! Love how neither of you has let fame and success change you and how you treat others! Wish they would bring back Mike and Molly.
This is one of the top ten episodes. 😺🙂
"Jay Garage"
*WUT*
@@carbon.python I know right? Who even knows smh
Nvm it changed now
Now its got CNBC prime in the name. Unfortunately that could mean this channel is going down the tubes if CNBC has anymore influence on here.
HA! I had a '58 BelAir, in mint condition, we called it "The Tank," because it was extremely heavy. It had to be one of the heaviest cars that Chevy ever made, 348 engine and auto trans. Really enjoy your programs, also saw you a few times when we lived in Burbank and everyone would go to Bob's parking lot in Toluca Lake, the good old days! Now I'm out here in the desert (Antelope Valley), at least it's quiet.
I love these videos Jay. Never watched you as a comedian or late show host, but love you on "Last Man Standing" and love that you are a car guy. Keep those videos coming.
Monday nights on The Tonight Show with Jay doing the Headlines bits were a weekly can't miss----dozens of long vids here in UA-cam. You won't be able to stop laughing.
It's fun to see Jay as the sidekick
Living outside of America, this video kills me. God I miss Good American Pizza. No other country does it as well.
A '56 Bel Air and pizza. Very nice combo.
Thank you I needed that that may be the funniest skit that I've seen come out of the garage
I am in tears. That was funny. Thank you.
I really enjoyed this clip reminded me a little of what late night used to be!
Great episode! Thanks a bunch!
The old Billy must laugh at this.
Nice 56. Cheers 🇨🇦
Jay the finish of the video was excellent we need more of this in our country now2020 🇺🇸😎
love you guys.......but the 56 need different wheels
