Such a humble nice guy. Charlie came to speak quickly at a youth club launch in MK after we had issues with gangs/ knife crime. He'd literally just flown back from somewhere and gave what little time he had to spare to share some wisdom. Those young people really felt seen and took his words into life with them. Wish you all the best and more blessings. Loved this interview.
Charlie is the kind of person most everybody loves to see winning. Top man. I wish him all the best for the future. Very insightful and inspiring interview. Keep up the great content. Great stuff.
Im only 30 minutes in and already super motivated by Charlie’s story. Even though i ain’t successful ‘yet’, i almost feel like i relate to him a lot. It gasses me for the future💯📈
Sorry but I just need to comment again. It literally is taking me the whole day to get through this interview, as it is a total foreign world to me, as a 57 year old woman living in South Africa! I had to pause and research the people Charlie is talking about. A whole new world opened up to me!! I shared it with all my Hebrew Messianic friends and family. If any body out there is depressed or suicidal this is the podcast to listen to. I have stage 4 cancer and is literally in 24/7 excruciating pain!! I have been through two very traumatic experiences over a time span of 10 years!! I am putting up the fight of my life not just with my health but also because of what happened to me. This I have downloaded and I will listen and watch it every time I feel sorry for myself. I know the protocol to follow to get healthy the natural way. I am struggling with smoking cigarettes which is the number one cause of cancer. Steven I do not know how to thank you for this broadcast? It is worth more than any money in the world. Thank you. May YHVH bless you and keep you. Amen.
yes barely. YHVH can heal me. I am trying to find fenbendazole but it is not available in South Africa. doing a lot of research as God opens up wisdom to me. Shalom @@bermudatriangle2036
I must admit I never liked Charlie years ago, then I watched tower block dreams and i did a full 180 on him…. He is the creator of a monumental turnaround story, clearly a very smart individual with a lot of drive. One of the few good role models to young men in this country 💯
Charlie is a superb communicator, he speaks with passion and energy and gets his point across so succinctly. I don’t think I even heard one “er” or “um” in the whole interview…
This was brilliant, very inspirational. As a soon to be 40 year old father of 5 who is going through a difficult time right now this is exactly what I needed to consume right now. Thank you Charlie and Steven.
I wish I saw this exact interview with Charlie Sloth 10 years ago. I would have made different choices. I feel happy that young people have the opportunity to see it now including people like me that still have choices and can start again. It is never too late. ❤❤👏👏👏👏
That was an effing awesome episode, Fire and the CEO. I'm an old skool Hip hop head, love fire in the booth, never knew sloth was such a DON, intelligent, articulate, passionate and truly inspirational, they should have some of these episodes as lessons in schools, who wouldn't be inspired and motivated after listening to some of this in your day. Superb Content.
Very proud to be British and a Londoner thanks to Charlie sloth. You’ve introduced me to soo many artists and brought them along with our culture to the mainstream media
Wow. Thank you so much Charlie! What a man! Never been so captivated by a DOAC show until this one. So real Felt like you was so humble and willing to share things to help others.
Wow! I was not expecting that. Charlie you are an inspiration. I knew nothing about you coming into this episode, but I was blown away by your humility and humble nature. So many takeaways for me to work on. Thank you for your honesty and candour. Thanks Stephen, another amazing episode. 👍😎
Charlie Sloth is a young man who has achieved so much for the rap and hip hop scene in the UK. He is so creative and has so much vision, which has been key to his success. He also has a real presence and it's so nice to hear that he is heavily involved in helping the less fortunate kids of today. When Fire in the Booth became very popular from 2010 and onwards, that is when so many people started to seriously take notice Charlie, such was the success of that show. Steve, your youtube channel is also always of interest to me, you always have so many interesting and inspirational characters on your channel.
This gentleman moves in a world that I am almost completely unfamiliar with and I'd never heard of him but the joy of this show is that if a person is a guest then I will definitely have a listen. What a fascinating and inspiring story! So many people are full of gloom and doom but here is evidence of all the goodness and positivity going on in the world - bravo! Wishing Charlie every possible, continued success. Thank you both for a great conversation X
I’ve never heard of Charlie Sloth, Fire in the Booth or AU vodka!! But I trusted in the Diary of a CEO process for THE best interviews - what a fantastic episode! What an inspiration 🖤
this was and is the BEST interview of all times. I can hear and feel the raw emotion in Charlie's voice and see it in his body language! I am from South Africa and the best lesson my father taught me was; it does not matter if you are talking to the President of a country or with a beggar on the street, you treat every person with compassion and respect. God bless you guys. Brilliant.
Charlie should be a big inspiration to any artist, they way he has reinvented his self and done so many different things is the music industry is very impressive and motivational. 💯

"Thank you for the contribution to the world!" booms an enthused and dramatic voice, as a thunderous applause echoes throughout the sold out arena. The audience is filled with emotion; proud of what this individual has done to not only better their lives, but more importantly, to make the world a better place. Their accomplishments have been nothing short of amazing, and to recognize them in letting them know how thankful people are for their hard work feels all too deserved. This individual has brought about an overwhelming air of hope and optimism that resonates throughout all four corners of the globe-they are sure to be an inspiration for generations to come.
What an amazing interview, I'd never heard of Charlie Sloth but thought that was one of the best interviews (of the ones I've watched on your channel) to date, I stayed to the end which says a lot!
I had never heard of fire in the booth or the vodka but this is by far one of the best episodes. Thank you so much Steven for introducing me to Charlie. He is truly inspirational. Amazing!!
This was a fascinating insight into the bright mind of Charlie. An incredibly switched-on marketeer and successful self-made entrepreneur. This definitely took me by surprise and I applaud you not only as one of my hero's in the music space but also as a man and making a life for yourself. Well done, brother. Continue shaping generations to come for the better. Always a legend, my guy!
Aww I think this has gotta be the best one yet ❤ Big up our Charlie , he's achieved so much and I love him. What he's done for british rappers is beautiful n as someone whos passionate about hip hop music ,tht means the world ❤Thank u Charlie xxxx
The comment Charlie made with regards to his mother being the cleaning lady. I 100% relate to this. My mum was a cleaning lady. Treat everyone with respect.
I seen Charlie shouting in his Fire In The Booths and now on this podcast. What an polite and respectable individual who has done very well for himself!
Thank you Stephen for another injection of positivity, wisdom and inspiration. These conversations have never been so needed. Your guests are so relevant, 100% on point as always. Thank you 🙏🏾❤️
Throughout this interview, it constantly reminded me of all the classic FITBs like Kano, Wretch, K Koke, Akala and it reminded me of those memories especially hearing “I know you gonna dig this….ah yeah….perrrfect” Thank you Steven and Charlie for such a great podcast, this has started my day right
I have met Kano through my job doing security he was a rude person they way he spoke to me an other people he could take some lessons on manners from Stormsy who I worked for last week very polite and respectful

Steven, only the 2nd interview of yours I've watched (the 1st, Louis Theroux). Being an old school hip hop head, I looked forward to this, and was not disappointed. Another wonderful, honest and revealing discussion. You're a great interviewer, and you have a new subscriber. Well done, man.
I’ve spoke to Charlie a few times in the past. The guys a legend. Charlie your an inspiration bro and this interview has gave me a boost to continue to do well in life
Remember the days when Charlie Sloth was a rapper so when he blew because of him creating FITB it was interesting to see. Especially now there is Fire In The Spoof but he definitely needs back that essence of it because it's not been the same even though he has recently taken it international.
The interviews happen so often I dont find the time to listen to all of them, but I am glad I listened to this interview with Charlie Sloth. Different perspective, had never heard of Charlie, fire in the booth or Au Vodka. Glad I did. Thank you
How do I apply for a diary cannot find link have a disability and I watch every podcast because I like the positivity and notion of person responsibility
The Bugzy Malone and the Akkala Fire in the Booths got my into Grime, I've always been a metalhead - so it was quite a stretch. But seeing these artists laying out their best work in the hopes of getting somewhere, was amazing. Especially the Bugzy Malone one, Sloth says something at the end like 'you're going to be massive', and Bugz is like 'yeah??' and sure enough... there needs to be more launch pads like that for new artists. Real inspirational story in general from Sloth. Excellent conversation.
In this episode, Charlie states that he always had self belief. 20 minutes in he mentions the birth of his son. By the look in his eyes and the change in his posture and the energy in his voice it is clear that Charlie's greatest motivation was being responsible for a child. I wonder if in another interview we can hear more about how being a good parent and provider to his child is in some way, a way to heal from his own childhood traumas so to break a cycle of ignorance or lack of opportunity. The anecdote about his father seems rather pertinent too. Something to note, our personal childhoods and relationships with parents bare magnificent influence on us subconsciously. Thanks for this interview. An opportunity for us all to grow in exchange for two hours of our time and energy. A good trade. 🙏🏽
Wow what an amazing person. I always feel so inspired and motivated by these conversations. Knowing that your childhood and background doesn’t have to hold you back, it actually can be what pushes you to be even more successful is the words of freedom for me. One day people will see what I have been visualising. I will be so successful with helping people be successful and feeling into their own worth. I will be sat across from you on the other side of that table telling you my life story and how I changed the trauma into inspiration and success ❤
Such an Inspiring and Motivational Story to go harder for your Dreams & Goals 💯💯💯 Charlie is one of the main Influences that UK drill is spread all around the world From UK to Europ to the Whole world Big Man Thing bruv 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Charlie Booth I’m eating dinner and my tears are that of recognition and gratefulness for you as you are as you a human being 🙏 Remember gangsters there’s no good end to your game. You are only good potential even though you may not think that now. Imagine you are better in the future than right now just like this man now. Remember we all love you and want you to be the best person so cmon be that person right now ❤❤❤❤
Was following Charley from way back, back in Being Charlie Sloth days...He helped me with confidence as an artist and him and Wretch pushed me on 1xtra back in 2010 as Top 5 to look out for. The work rate was better than anyone in the UK Urban scene. Point blank period. Incredible movements. Thanks Sloth.
This was a great demonstration of how intelligence comes in different forms. Charlie is naturally clued up about marketing/branding and others have to go to uni to get a fraction of his knowledge. Amazing come up from the shed. And yes, I think his dad blatantly moved the goalposts 😂
The thing with these Podcasts is, even if I have a pre conceived opinion of the guest, I still watch it. And MOST of the time, My opinion totally changes. I'm 5 minutes in and I already know I'll like Charlie. I used to think of him very differently.
Good morning from Nigeria Steven Monday motivation couldn’t have come at a better time☕️ Found your channel a little over a week ago and I feel the changes in my life already! Thank you❤
Total transparency; before this interview I loved Fire in the Booth but didn’t like Charlie. I found him annoying and thought he put on a persona to fit in with the genre of artists he hosted. My entire opinion has changed and I see he’s authentic, driven and likeable. My whole perception of him has changed for the better. Don’t judge a book by its cover, I’ve learnt my lesson. Incredible podcast 🙌🏻
Am I missing something valuation-wise? He said turnover was 80 million pounds but then he said multiplier of 10X = 800 million pound valuation? No consumer brand gets a 10x on revenue, I think he's confusing this with profit multiplier (by which case 10x would be more than reasonable for a trendy brand) - Assuming he's pulling 80 million pounds off that he's getting 30% ebitda (best case) you're looking at a 240 million pound business? Coming from someone who plays in this space.
Honestly never thought I'd see this side of Charlie Sloth as I only ever see the hype DJ behind the decks. But he's truly one of the most intelligent guys I've seen in the Hip-Hop business with the way he's built up the FITB brand and given UK rappers a platform that was not there for them before, and not to mention building the most successful premium Vodka brand in the world 🙌
Absolutely amazing interview, this is definitely in the top 5, I loved every single word Charlie said and every question you asked him. I didn't want this conversation to end, I think this is the first interview that I'll have to watch twice. I'm so inspired right now I could scream. Thank you soo much Steve, you always deliver.🙌🏾🔥🤜🏾🤛🏾
Wasn't a fan of dude before this but now I see his mentality and work he put in and I have so much respect for him now and I learned some valuable stuff from this interview. Powerful stuff. Great video
Daniel from Ashville is one person you should get on here. A completely different type of person, construction and could be a good one as we can all relate
I am so amazed at the guests you have. I don’t know some of them, but watch with awe and amazement. They certainly give great advice which in my opinion is needed for the future generation. They need motivation and to be told nothing is impossible and they are good enough. I was told by my parents there is no such word as can’t! Start as you mean to go on and I have applied that to the growth of my son who is now in Uni. Yes, I’m so proud. Thank you, love this Channel 😌
If you enjoyed this conversation, please do me a little favour and like the video 👍 By doing that, you’re showing this conversation to even more people 🙏❤

Glad I did. Thank you
Love the full circle with Wretch 32 dropping one of the best Fitbs ever
Wretch and Avelino is still my favourite fire in the booth ever. That was a special moment in UK rap.
'If your as good as you think you are ... the success will follow' - This is gold
Amazingly articulate helping to debunk council estate stupidity
How do I apply for a diary cannot find link have a disability and I watch every podcast because I like the positivity and notion of person responsibility
Where
Can’t see it
@@sineadodonnell986 only bigots think “council stupidity”. He didn’t need to prove anything to fools like your or anyone else who thought less of him.
@@miamitten1123 I don’t know what to say I know he doesn’t know who I am but I’m not sure you do either but enjoy the rest of the day
The Bugzy Malone and the Akkala Fire in the Booths got my into Grime, I've always been a metalhead - so it was quite a stretch.
You can just tell Charlie sloth is a down to earth humble guy! Much respect to him! ❤️❤️
A very young man with an older man's experience and a wiser man's knowledge.... Big up fire in the booth... Big up Charlie sloth... Big up Steven 👍🤞💪
I thought this interview wasn't going to be that interesting, but it's the best interview I've watched on this channel 👑
I look up to Charlie. I'm a fashion designer from NYC, and he is very inspiring.
Jacamo is the site Charlie buys his clothes from

One of the best episodes I’ve ever seen so far. Charlie’s a good man
Big respect to Charlie Sloth here
Wow what an amazing person.
This guy is very intelligent. What a nice guy too. People say I look like Charlie sloth but now I’ve seen him, I’ll take it haha!
Such an Inspiring and Motivational Story to go harder for your Dreams & Goals 💯💯💯
Charlie is one of the main Influences that UK drill is spread all around the world
From UK to Europ to the Whole world Big Man Thing bruv 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
These are the podcasts I love. U can't teach that drive, energy, hunger, fire in the belly that drives you to success
This was a great demonstration of how intelligence comes in different forms. Charlie is naturally clued up about marketing/branding and others have to go to uni to get a fraction of his knowledge. Amazing come up from the shed.
And yes, I think his dad blatantly moved the goalposts 😂
Yup he did
This is probably the best podcast ive actually listened to
The thing with these Podcasts is, even if I have a pre conceived opinion of the guest, I still watch it. And MOST of the time, My opinion totally changes. I'm 5 minutes in and I already know I'll like Charlie. I used to think of him very differently.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽👊🏾 respect your open mindedness
@@TheDiaryOfACEO And I respect you 👏 🙌 Best podcast in the world in my humble opinion.
I just realised how much of a great speaker Charlie sloth is, who agrees?
Good morning from Nigeria Steven
Monday motivation couldn’t have come at a better time☕️
Found your channel a little over a week ago and I feel the changes in my life already!
Thank you❤
Good morning! Thanks so much for watching, let me know what you think
Always appreciate someone coming from not a lot and cleaning up. My dad was from nothing and did relatively well. Nothing like Charlie.
I edited my spelling mistake and now my heart from Steven has gone 😂 Much appreciated, nevertheless. Keep it up!
Most underrated DJ put so many people on and launched uk artist to the moon and back. Absolute don.
A true inspiration to young people today …so motivating to watch!😊
🙏
One of the realest interviews I’ve seen in a while… Big ups to the both of you. Fiya in the PodCast💥✊🏿
But he's truly one of the most intelligent guys I've seen in the Hip-Hop business with the way he's built up the FITB brand and given UK rappers a platform that was not there for them before, and not to mention building the most successful premium Vodka brand in the world 🙌
I don't think we realize how lucky we are to have Charlie's content.
Wow! I remember when this channel had only 200k subs, and never bothered to check since. Congrats Mr Bartlett & team 👏🏾
Thanks bro! Been a mad ride
Loved this chat!! what a guy Charlie is!! Loved his show on radio and fire in the booth but what a story he has about his life! Wow inspiring 👏!!
Such a brilliant interview, made me feel motivated for the day.
Wasn't a fan of dude before this but now I see his mentality and work he put in and I have so much respect for him now and I learned some valuable stuff from this interview. Powerful stuff. Great video
Simply a brilliant interview - what a great guy!!!
This made me respect this dude even more than before. I love this channel and what you're doing thank you!
"I know u gonna dig this, ah yeah, perfect" ifykyk
We knew the moment you got to be on fire in the booth, it's like winning an Oscar. Only legends 💜
Big love for CS
Thank you 🙏
My favourite episode so far. So many relatable moments, with so many valuable gems being dropped.
Amazing Podcast, Thank you Steven, great start to the day.

This is the new university for free and for everyone who loves their monday morning.Thankyou
I know you're gonna dig this, ha yeah, perfect. You know what time it is when you hear this right? Let's get ready to rumble 🔥🔥🔥
Daniel from Ashville is one person you should get on here. A completely different type of person, construction and could be a good one as we can all relate
Incredibly inspiring ❤ Great way to kick off the week. Thank you!
Indeed!
