I'm actually a big fan of the heat shield aesthetic, glad more companies other than ASUS are following suit with that idea.
As am i Ashnno love the clean look, the steel MB backplate. one of my older builds was with the ASUS Tuf Z270 Mark 1, a beast put it in a Corsair Vengeance C-70 Case with a digital camo paint job. 10 fan headers dam .
@@plasmarun544 Ah, I loved the looks of the TUF series! I'm using a Maximus Code right now. Great looking motherboard lol.
This looks so epic
Hello As this mother drives memory ? Better than MSi boards on Z chipset ?
If you have hard line water cooling and want to add / remove a M.2 SSD you are screwed 😂
3:53 Try to add a m.2 drive if you have a full custom waterloop.......NOT gonna happen with this one piece of cover design.
Nice looking board but with one BIG design mistake in my opinion.
EDIT: Very nice video because you also talk about the above problem later in the video (I was to fast with my comment) :P
Big fan of network connectivity, but 3 ports seems wierd. The second 1gbit port seems useless.
My daughter wants to know what the rgb wall decoration is. Thanks for the great content!
It’s called nanoleaf
Looks good board, but i still put on the TOP of the list 1 Asus and 2 Gygabite 3 MSI 4 Asrock

Mate, Asus has 2 nice Z390 boards. Rest of them are pretty mediocre. That easily puts them at last place
@@dainiusvysniauskas2049 Mate, its easy to aee you dont understand nothing of electronics... What about Asus Rampage V or black editions
@@CadStr Yeah, Rampage V is nice board.
But why would I concern myself with dead chipset?
@@dainiusvysniauskas2049 bad luck, all elecrtonics have fails, i got one from 2012 and 0 problems.
@@CadStr Oh, I didn't mean dead that way. I meant that X99 chipset is EOL, so I don't really consider it that relevant. I mean, if we are going to make a list of vendors, taking into account their current lineup seems to make more sense, right?
At least as far as mainstream Intel platform is concerned (Z390), Asus is dead last (maybe second to last, only NZXT being behind).
Can you switch off the RGB?
great review, the red on the mobo tho :(
Thanks man, yep, they are getting closer and closer to removing it :p
"Gaming orientated"
Has 3 goddamn Ethernet ports
I never understood why they have more than one Ethernet ports, let alone THREE!
What's the use case?
@@madd5 Just cause you are a gamer doesn't mean you won't be making use of a wired NAS and wired internet at the same time. Two ports are ideal but I guess Asrock wanted to justify the boards costs and crammed all sorts on it.
Designed for Lanparty
COOL
I wish they would have spent more ressources into the x570 development. I hate the taichi design and everything else doesnt fit my demands (we dont talk about that full cover plate for fucking $1k).
Does it support nvlink?
Optical Sensor according to product description on Mindfactory (popular German site) it does
Message to ASRock: please also make performance boards for adults, not just for 16 year olds. A bit tired of the whole "gaming" and gimmicky marketing.
X570 when
7/7 if not later today if he has one.
FYI... X = 10....
K
We want X570 motherboard. Z390 is dead.
Their X570s also have the WiFi 6 at the top end some even have firewire that's now USB WTFever.
Hold your horses. Without having any independent benchmarks and tests of Ryzen 3 / X570 you can't z390 dead. What if Ryzen 3 has teething problems for 6 months?
@@ChristianSamsel Intel already admitted they're screwed in an internal newsletter. If you choose to stick with them after they lied about needing Z390 for the 9900k and all the other debauchery have at it.
Well, all I can say is I got burned by jumping on the threadripper waggon too early. Needed a stable system for software development in virtual machines using things like PCI passthrough - nothing worked. Took AMD and the boardmakers a year to get that settled.
@@ChristianSamsel yep and I almost did it too but looks like 9900k still wins in gaming, sure AMD has accomplished a massive thing but, still 9900k is the gaming king
AMD Content. X570 is way cooler
But also expensive and loud :(
that is X470 for me
@@Felix-ve9hs How the hell do you know it's loud? LOL
No one has tested it yet.
@@madd5 ua-cam.com/video/7xL0Jn5med0/v-deo.html
Watch the End of this Video (10 Minutens 20 Seconds) and you know what i mean
@@Felix-ve9hs loud ?
No one gives a damn about intel anymore though
so you what determined this by your own world wide survey. Yeah Ok
@@plasmarun544 yes a survey. If you have you compare "x570","Ryzen 3" and "AMD" search statistics that's all you need to see.
