Love my 2500 bdcp and t6004, my local shop called me crazy for paying what I paid, but I'm with you when it comes to quality, I love rockford fosgate amps.
We think alike on alot of things! Not just car audio but spiritually as well! One of the reasons why I love this channel! I had a kicker zx2500.1 that I had for around 10 years and it finally went out 2020. That was my opportunity to finally get some rockford power and I did! I've been in car audio now for 23 years and had always been a fan of Rockford's amplifiers....I just couldn't let go of my kicker zx2500.1 lol. I have had JL W6v2 12s, kicker L5 12s and kicker L7 15s all ran on that zx2500.1 at 4ohm and 2ohm. Now that I'm finally on Rockford power (which I've been waiting to finally do) I'll be on this amp for a very long time. My subs may change over the years but my power stage stays consistent! I agree with you here....Im in my 50s and can remember the legend of fosgate in the 80s. Theyve been doing it too long and its something about about their power series amps and their Power T1s and up that ( if you use their specs) has a sound on low note impact that I havent heard in any other brand. They're expensive but worth it!!! The T1s with 2-2.25 net space with 800-1000 watts tuned to 40hz ( Yes 40hz!!!! not 35-32...40hz) killed on low notes and loud AF...I think its the accuracy in what they do....I will never buy anything else...Kicker wasnt no joke either back in the 80s and Orion.
I'm running the p1000.1bd on 2 sundown e series 8s under seat box 2.45 qubes tuned to 32hz. Ran other brand name amps and came back to my roots with the Rockford and been happy ever since

I have a jbl p1220e in a 1.1cf sealed box and a Rockford fosgate punch 500.2 wired 4ohm mono sound quality is outstanding still going strong more then 10 years now 😎
I agree about RF amps. I have the 90s 500.2 punch black and gray aka power 1000.2 that I bought new from a guy on yahoo sales market lol yes I said yahoo. This amp smoked two pair of subs that were over-rated on rms power. It still plays after sitting in my closet for 12 years. I used it for 5 years. I pulled it out the closet when I saw a dyno of the amp putting out 1000 x 2 @ 1 ohms up to clipping
What reducer are you using on the power/ground wire?. I couldn't find one to fit without touching and does it make a difference if I use the recommended 4gauge that Rockford suggest or go with a larger gauge. The amp is only about 8inches from the distribution block that has 1gauge in from secondary battery and 4 gauge out.
I love Rockford Fosgate, but them damn Orion Reds & nuttin to play with either! Not sure if Orion watts are as clean as Fosgate but as far as being the big Silver Back Gorilla of the jungle? Them damn Orion Reds can tare sum sh-t up too! Koreans build some helluva amps👍🏿. Long live Rockford Fosgate 💯🇺🇲💪🏿🤘🏿

I have 2 Hx2 Power Seriez 15's, how do I hook this amp to my subs? Do I hook it up like you have it(+ -)by hooking both subs together for 1 output Or (+ -/+ - FOR EACH SUB)?
What would you run if you had 5 ft3 net airspace after all subtractions on 1200 watts clean power? Not looking for specific subwoofers just basically amount and size like 4 x 8's or 2 x 12's maybe an 18 ?? Right now I have 1 x 15 in 3 ft3 with external port tuned to 29 hz. I am not disappointed with it but it is worn out..
They probably have to be plugged in to work.... But he's probably got his gains set exactly right so there's no need for any adjustment up front. If you don't feel like listening to Bass you just turned the subwoofer down on the head unit... .

His enclosures are the bomb, however if you know what you are doing and cut everything precisely do all of the calculations and remember that the specs from the subwoofer manufacturer are possibly way off. You or anyone else can build a quality enclosure. Knowledge is power and mbe has allot of knowledge from past experience. Don't think you can just make a box and it will be awesome. But it definitely can be. 👍😎

When it comes to a mono subwoofer amp a soft clip is okay 5 - 10 Db of overlap with no problem at the right ohm load. For the money you can’t beat the Taramps with the right electrical . They will sound the same it’s all in the enclosure
Rebranded US amps dirty?! If you talking about the JP lineup of amps your absolutely spreading misinformation. Cookie cutters....slightly* I'll give you that but changes have been made to the board to make them unique and more reliable. The class AB versions have some of the best SQ available in the current market. The BDCP amps are amazing though I myself love them also.
No such thing as to much power. If I had the electrical to support it I would run a much bigger amplifier than I am currently. 1200 rms is the limit for me on stock alternator. Still need 0 gauge wiring with a fairly large cap. I'm using stinger 10 farad almost as big as my amp.
