The best part is that it's the windfury shaman holding them back. The ONLY one with power over them. Melee mantra repeat after me: Thou shalt not anger thine Windfury Totem.
I think it would be more accurate is when you cast fear and at that point doesnt matter what youre going to cast they WILl run out of range. Or when you ran away from a mob, fear it and it gets a boost run ahead of you and hit you from the front...
my favorite spot is blacksmith at AB. there is always someone in your team who think it would be smart to hide in the house or under the bridge at half-health when you are about to heal him
Ok this was too accurate. I like how you put the warriors on a leash, and they ran in to aggro the mobs. I don't like it when people don't wait for me to heal them, and refill my mana.
I learned a bit into dungeons in classic, the hard way, drink first and then heal before the next pull. I always wanted to heal up and then drink because of the 5sr and all, but if they’re full on hp they won’t stop. >.
@Jonny Croxville Agreed, in many cases it's the same being a DPS caster, can't keep up my mana because I keep having to keep up, as a result my DPS overall suffers, and like you say, spending money on Mana Pots, just to have to use them up so quickly because of asshats who just want to rush, get wiped, blame everyone but themselves.
It’s because they have full hp (from being healed) and no mana. So they feel ready to go into the next pack. Pro tip: keep them around 60% hp so they don’t feel ready to charge in, then drink.
@zarphani when i need mana and my group is still recovering, i just throw down a healing stream totem and drink. it will fully heal them by the time you have adequate mana, and if it doesnt, top them off with a R1 chain heal or two. you should have your comfortable % mana when combat starts using this method :) if they are in a hurry that much, they can bring their own food, bandage or ping the mages for some
Yeah. Was especially galling for those of us who had also played warrior tanks. Like... come on guys! Always check on your heals before starting an encounter. x_x
Hey when the the enemy is stronger at the team fight sometimes the best strategy is to lessen the numbers anyway you can. At the end of the day the goal is 0hp ;)
I did that around 2am a lot lol. Right as the boat would instance to the next area, i'd toss off some lowbies. I come from whitemane ally, i'm sure you can understand.
My first memories of Shadow Priest PvP was tricking a Rogue into using kick too early, and then using Mind Flay spam... and watching me spin like a god damn top.
One of the things I miss the most from classic was being "the" healing class. These days we priests play second fiddle in the one role we were intended for.
your vids are awesome. great storytelling man! wish they were like 4-5 min long. like short stories you tell in that kind of style. its so cool and refreshin! :D
I thought the BG part would have been funnier if the priest applied dots to the first warrior, then the warrior backs off and dies from the dots. Hilarious video
Lmao that MC to throw that warlock off the cliff then the game ends , I'm dying 🤣🤣🤣. I dong even play wow anymore but remember all the memories and these videos reminds me of the days when I played
Well I always enjoyed playing Priest. If I'm not mistaken, I spent many points into Discipline talents just for the mana sustain. I ran marathons in raids instead of Healing Meter sprints. Damn it. I miss WoW.
Left out the scene where the priest has to res the 5 zugs who died to bad because the shamans never seem to unless its a full wipe w/ankh up. And then proceed to drink so you can rebuff the dead only to get bitched at for not being ready for the next pull.
As someone that played a priest when Arathi Basin was released this really made me laugh. Of course, shadow priests to level 49 were fucking unstoppable in vanilla.
While it also applies to druids, could have had a priest throw out a renew and have the war go charging past every mob holding agro for about 1/2 a second before that renew tick and then every mob goes to melt the priest.
Used to be an old bug in Booty Bay where if you MC'd someone, the guards would attack the MC target as long as they were closer. You could then jump off the dock and levitate on the water to escape like a boss.
Shaman and warrior were the ultimate combo. I remember rolling around in full naxx gear with my pack of feral warriors, although just 1 was needed. 2 person team could camp a entire warsong team in their own graveyard.
The ONE thing you forgot was hiding in the bushes near the Alliance Arathi Basin GY. Then mind controlling people as they ress and making them run thru the portal, thus abandoning the BG.
I loved my NE Priest. Shadowmeld is amazing. Would hang out in Shadowmeld near popular quest mob packs and Mind Control Horde into them. Watch them get hammered
This should be easy. The DPS go to the instance/raid and then the tank(s) and healers get summoned because who the F wants to deal with getting there when you have DPS to do it for you.
Warriors on a leash is pure gold
I don't understand why shaman keeps them on a leash, instead of a hunter.

You forgot to add someone running out of line of sight while priest was casting healing spell.. but that is with every healer
Join the chain heal spam master race!
dude i hate that....if you are gonna run at-least toward healer, not away from healer....especially in bgs.

how shaman had them on the leash was funny

As a resto shaman I was constantly fighting with warriors to slow the F*** down. So true!
I was a priest and also the lead healer for my guild. This was a constant issue for every warrior except our two main tanks.
It’s because they have full hp (from being healed) and no mana. So they feel ready to go into the next pack. Pro tip: keep them around 60% hp so they don’t feel ready to charge in, then drink.

As a Priest main this past Classic I can confirm this to be true. Absolutely love your videos, please keep making them!
This is easily one of the best ones you have ever made simply because of the warriors on a leash.
Forgot one thing... A priest mind controlling someone off the booty bay boat.

Warriors on a leash fucking had me in tears so good
Yes duuude, this was me 15 years ago :) Only warriors with ashkandi had even the slightest chance to get through my power word shield.

I thought the MC bit was going to end with the MC ending and it resetting the locks momentum thus letting the lock live the fall.
Glad to see it's not classic only.
That last part is sooooo true 😂
Missed the part where the shield breaks in 2-3 hits, but otherwise perfect.
Warriors didn't generate rage when hitting a shield so he's just autoattacking.
