This is great! Would love to see a longer more in-depth workflow video, discussing texture and detail work for the skin and such. Lovely sculpture!
I envy you and your sculpting talent. I am a 2D designer, photoshop and Co. Never had the opportunity to test such a beautiful program in VR. Still have to get into VR. Waiting for the 12K in this regard. Hope to learn and master the skill to sculpt this detailed!
would like to see a uncut unspeedup version of this
Wow, this is really insane
Yes, Tom Aust is an amazing artist, and he has created many works of art with Shapelab! If you enjoyed this one, check out his other videos on our channel! 🙂
Fascinating how he puts all those hands out of thin air. I wish I had such a deep understanding of the human anatomy. Really great sculpt, like always.
VERY cool concept
Incredible work by Tom Aust as always! I learned some techniques just from this video.
This is beautiful!
Amazing work.
Wonderful app! Is possible upload reference photos into shapelab?
Yes, you can import reference images!:) See part 3 of our video tutorial series for more information: ua-cam.com/video/Y6OzfQaWTpA/v-deo.html
Hi. Is it possible to just draw an object?
fE drawing a tentacle like form, but without starting with a primitive object wich I than manipulate.
Instead i would like to have something like a 3d-Brush wich creates geometry.
AMAZING! can i know which program did you use for the final outcome (rendering)?
It was rendered in Blender.:)
@@ShapelabVR ty for the answer i was thinking about buying the product when ill get my oculus soon, are you guys are thinking to make this program top notch even for painting and texturing? i mean i saw substance on vr but nothing came out.. that's sad-- what i mean is I have a problem with my hand that makes me unable to use the pen to paint, the funny thing is that the vr controllers do not create any problems to me, so i'm searching some vr app that allow you to make very good texture/painting without the need of a program like substance painter
@@KappaWatch Thank you for considering Shapelab! Our main focus now is tools and features for sculpting. Vertex painting is already available and you have several options for that, but texturing is still a long way ahead unfortunately.
I just bought it. Can these sculpture files be brought into open brush projects?
Can you upload reference photos into shapelab?
You can export your models in the following file formats: OBJ, GLB, STL, FBX. These are compatible with most 3D programs! You can also import reference images. We have a user guide with more details on all the features on our website, check it out to learn more: shapelabvr.com/faq/
What are the textures done with? Can ArmorPaint get the same result? (after sculpting with ShapeLab)
Sure
can I use oculus quest 2 with this program?
Yes, you can, but only tethered to a PC via Airlink or Link cable! It doesn't run on Quest 2 standalone.
