Maybe sequel to come (I'm bad at promising sequels), but there are good Krieg stories to be told about the siege of Vraks, and some other conflicts, so stay tuned for some more gas-masked weirdos
Perhaps the Elysian shock troops next?
😊😊
very impressiv use of Ai, i love the vids
but my men, there was not 1 word in here that explained the "Clone Army of Krieg" ...
at the end of the war every Soldier on Krieg is a gen clone of Jurten
i find this is somewhat important why did you left it out ?
Dunno if it's your voice or an AI, but nice voice! Heard 2 seconds and subbed! This is bedtime stories for men!
Ya know, no matter how many times Ive heard the story of Krieg nuking itself into a hellscape of ash and craters, I listen to every new video on it.
I think I do the same. The lore of 40K has that effect on me as well.
This
Kriegers and black templars are my favorite thing about 40k
Better dead, then red.
It's a simple story and we can all not only understand but relate to
I never played Warhammer 40k and don’t intend to but the lore is so interesting
It's fantastic lore, I haven't played the table top game for maybe 10 years now, but the stories are too good to pass up imo
Same here. I was thinking about getting into the game itself, but it's not for me financially. But I love the lore and the whole setting, so I use books, video games and YT videos to scratch that WH40k itch
@@ArkensTrust me, don't do this
@@Arkensdon't wast time on table top game, play instead the warhammer 40k pc games.
Whatever we have done to please the Emperor, we must thank Him for this most holy sermon. May it remind us of the true meaning of the sacrifice that we must all one day make to His glory…
I thought you said his most holy semon and I thought "well he did use his gene seed to make the astarties"
Amen brother!
kriegs are the embodiment of "the reward for good work is more work".. poor dudes and dudettes
Are there any female soldiers? Last I heard the women work in the factory on their ball of radiation
I had my basic training in a battalion commanded by a Lieutenant Colonel Jurt.
Not quite Krieg, but we did wear gasmasks a lot.
If you remove the gasmask from a krieg's head do you find a human face or just another gasmask?
A mix of both
A gasface
A fist.
Gasmask
Yes
I have each of these downloaded to help me sleep, love the way these stories are narrated
I'm glad they help!
Same
I liked that you used pictures from metro 2033 when speaking about the aftermath of the nuclear bomb, it was the first thing that came to my mind haha
Same here, when I was thinking of "what's a good post apocalyptic underground society" then obviously Metro was the first thing which came to me. I think it matches the aesthetic of the legion before they switched over the heavy greatcoats and sleeker gas masks
@@Scholarslore it definately does, now I want to hear an Artyom Krieger XD
Physically incapable of not clicking on a Krieg lore vid.
The tithe probably helps Krieg as much as the Guard. Fewer mouths to feed on Krieg.
Thank you, brother, for yet another outstanding piece of work.
Thank you very much, appreciate it
Between you weshammer and luten i have found what i am calling the holy Trinity of Warhammer 40k loretubers.
Keep up the great work.
Also don't know if you have done it yet or not but would love a lote video on the Soul Drinkers. They are the chapter that got me into 40k stories/lore. Them and the space wolves
We need a third person shooter similar to Spec Ops: the line set in the civil war of Krieg
Would be VERY grimy, I'd imagine it'd feel like red orchestra to play
"Let's play "Civil War of Krieg! The first mission is...[Game Over]."
"Let's play Cannon Fodder instead."
Helldivers 2 has quite the asthetics of WH40k and Starship Trooper
A video on the korps?! Oh how you spoil us! Hope we can see more videos on the variety of guard regiments!
Thank you! More guard stuff to come!
In life, war. In death, peace. In life, shame. In death, atonement. For the GOD-EMPEROR!
Quite positively, the best narration Ive heard so far!
I see Death Korps and I Subscribe.
love how fast these are going out !! MOOOOOORE
23:10 look at the eye lens to the right
Hell yes, I'm building my Krieg army while listening
Nice! They're such good models, especially the old FW sculpts, some of the best IG units imo
Most Excellent. Thank you for making.
Havnt seen one of your videos in ages, the narrator sounds good, like sir davids much younger brother lol
Heh, 23:15 has art from the 82nd Dread Korps regiment/clan from Foxhole, you can see the Wardens insignia on his shoulder. Obviously based on the Death Korps, but funny to see them here! Great video as always!
Oh whoops, didn't know that! I just assumed it was more death korps art!
Hello Sir, can you please make the second part of Damnos? Love your work and datication!
Hello! Yes I certainly will, I'm almost caught up on my necron backlog, but it's certainly in my mind to work on that one. I'm finishing up a new script atm, but perhaps next week I'll find some time to start work on Damnos 2
Thank you as well!
just when I finished the last video.
hell yeah
Super cool lore, thank you for taking the time to create this content.
Thank you, glad you liked it
Love your videos!
I know nothing of 40K and I loved this video !
How's narrated, produced...very enjoyable
Keieg! Krieg!! Krieg!! The narrators voice is absolutely chilling and perfect for listening to for 40k lore I love it!!
Can't even find the words to describe how great this is.
23:16 82DK! Man now it makes sense why there’s so much 40k culture in the wardens. (For anyone confused this is fan art for a regiment in the game Foxhole called the 82nd Death Korps which are based on the 40k Death Korps I presume)
Anyone reminded of that one legion that was known for excelling in that hard, grueling battles and eventually got tired of being taken for granted?
You mean the Iron Warriors of Perturabo ? Yeah.
Yeah but perturabo didn't want to put in said situations unlike the death korps,
Thanks for another great video. Could your next Regiment video be on the Tanith First and Only. They have a lot of material to work with, and Gaunt is a great character for a stand alone video by himself in my opinion. But together him and the Tanith survivors are a interesting group worth educating others on and would love to see it in your style especially. Thanks for your hard work, As always I look forward to your next video
I did have a little plan written out for them, but it's a bit of a weird one where I'd have to leave out huge chunks of their story, just because there are so many books about them. I would probably have to leave it as another origin story type video, which is fine, but I wouldn't want people to be disappointed if they were expecting a synopsis of all of the novels. Once I'm ready I'll tackle them head on though. I'd probably like to focus on the Tallarn Desert raiders next for IG regiments, but the Tanith are certainly on my mind.
And thank you as well, I appreciate the kind words
@@Scholarslore I fully understand, there is so much lore and books to cover it would be a hard video to make. Trying to figure out what to include and what to leave out would be a huge undertaking, but I have faith in you. From what I have seen so far I do believe that you are up to the huge task of covering them. I appreciate all your hard work you put into these videos
Would love to see more on different regiments, great job as always.
There is only an other regiment worth mentioning, and that is the jungle fighters.
Everyone else is a joke.
I'll be covering a few more of them in the future, not sure of the order but I'll at least get the Tallarn, Valhallan, and Mordian. I might also cover a bunch of smaller regiments in a compilation video, where I'll show maybe 4 or 5 slightly smaller, or more obscure regiments for 5 minutes each, could be fun.
Thank you as well.
I love the vibes of the great war!
> "War was inevitable!"
How do you know?
> "Because we declared war!"
Excellent writing as always. I never miss a video.
Thank you!
If they make a combat patrol of Krieg I’ll buy one
Just imagine far into future humanity will live and control 1 million planets. What an epic period to live in.
In a universe of fanatics these madlads are my favorites
Love the metro 2033 art
you gotta do one of these with the Joshua Graham voice.
"Who are the death korps of krieg?"
* concerned and confused gas mask noises *
An excellent video! Love me some Krieg! 💀😷
I held the dying Kriegsman as he bled from the brutal wounds sustained by the org hordes. Even mortally wounded he continued to hold himself together. To try and help him I reached to remove his gas mask so he could breathe better but he gently grabbed my arm and gently shook his head. I understood and didn’t try, I spoke to him. “You fought well brother in arms, may the emperor deliver you to a glorious afterlife”. The kriegsman laid his head back and passed as I listened to his breathing stop. I gently layed him down and put his trench tool on his chest and wrapped his arms around it.
“Only in death does duty end”
Are there any books I should be reading about the Death Korps? I really love their lore/backround/history
Can you do the tragedy of Magnus the Red sometime?
A large part of it is already covered by his video on The Rubric of Ahriman.
I see you taking that Metro 2033 artwork 👀
I don’t play this game, seems intimidating. But, it always catches my attention and the lore fascinates me.
It's wild to think of the lives during the 10 years on the ships. Do they go into stasis or go about their daily routines?
Ships are huge, usually the size of a city. So it would be like living 10 years in a city and never leaving it. It is not the best life, but it isn't really that out of the question. But, here's the deal - ships of the Imperium, especially larger ones, have their decks segregated and people in them basically enslaved for generations, doing the same work.
For example, you have the broadside guns. The whole deck servicing them will be under one group of people, who can't move outside of their areas of the ship, and they are generationally tied to those guns. People born there stay there and do the job their father did, and their grandfather before them. It creates a highly specialized workforce to be honest, people who know every single thing to be known about that segment of the ship and how it works.
And it is very much needed because there are almost never two ships that are absolutely identical in how they run.
To answer your question, no, they are not in stasis, they go about their daily routines. The ships are huge, but within them ordinary people are confined to segments of it (still huge, like a smaller city), with only the specialized crew members being able to traverse the entire ship. But, ships so large, it is quite common that even the ship's captain has not visited the entire ship during his entire life.
Wait, I thought that this all happened during or around the time Horus Heresy? Did I have the dates wrong?
Pretty much what I do in every relationship
Never ask a Kriegsman his name.
23:10 check the eyes lmao
Satisfactory narration.
So... what is the anime girl in the Kriegsman's eye at 23:07?
The Emperor protects!
23:02 i cant make sense of whose reflection is on the krieg guardsman's len
I think it’s his cartoon lover
What happened to Attenborough lore?
Imagine the phenomenal evil of an Empire that orders the death of billions of innocents because of the inconvenience of allowing even a temporary betrayal. Amazing.
👍👍👍👍👍Here, have some more.
Theodora Von Valancius ❤
It is the right of every Kreigsman to die for the Emperor, and they seem eager to claim that right.
As much as I love the channel i have to say there needs to be more research. There were no virus bombs or such just dark age atomic weapons, and the launch codes were transmitted by the militarum themselves
Can you do some videos on tempestus scion operations there’s almost no videos about them
It's funny that the people in charge of kireg overreacted and thought they were gonna lose power, but if they had just kepts giving the Imperium its tithes then the Imperium wouldn't have given a rat ass about how they run the planet as long as the tithes were paid.😂
Thought they were cloned or at least hinted at?
Hanzs get the shovel
I wonder if some writer would go on to shit on this story and say chaos is probably involved, I hope not cause it’s just generally logical and better to recognize that humanity is its own worst enemies sometimes
Well, what did they expect would happen after they named their planet "War"?
Ah i miss Attenbough voice..
Since when does the Imperium care about how the citizens of a planet are treated as long as they pay their tithe and worship the emperor?
Yayyyy
LION EL JOHNSON PLASE ❤
babe wake up new Scholar's lore video
can you imagine how much faster the Civil War could have been won if US Grant had The Death Corp of KREIG WITH HIM !!!!!
Krieg regiments -- Very vet dream of world war 1 generals.
Well, sounds like the people running things right now. So worried their sinister decadence will be revealed they stop at nothing to silence and instill fear.
MY BRETHREN AND FELLOW -Primary school pupil- SOLIDERS, NOW WE KNOW WHERE WE CAME FROM AND WHY WE MUST DIE FOR THE EMPEROR!!!
fun fact: "Krieg" is the german word for war
More like the Death Corpse of Krieg, amirite?
Lol half the character art is lifted straight from Owlcats Rogue Trader
so to say Col.Jurthen has won...
Woohoo within the first minute
How so they manage to keep there population. Do they have breeding camps or somthing ?
😊
Im sorry you dont get the views you used to but im still here for every video
I thought the Death Korps were clones?
It's a mix, the only way they can provide so many soldiers is by supplementing them with clones and or artificially grown humans who still have two biological parents, just grown in artificial wombs.
Not exactly
Ferrograd is Stalingrad lmao
You know they made a game about this it's called metro😂
Why does this seem like a David Attenburough nature documentary lol
HAIL TO THE HIGH AUTOCRAT. GLORY TO KRIEG. THE EMPORER IS NOT OUR GOD!
ALGORITHM
Yes?
I just liked my own comment , don't ruin it!
You think they would update their gas masks.. i mean shit dude you can’t see out of those things even with a full visor. Goofy.
Wouldn't fit the whole WW1 era trench fighter look if they alter the mask - might be doable on some of the character models
First
Krieg= german for "war"
Krieg is probably one of the most overhyped and overmemed factions in 40k thanks to reddit. Le ebic wholesome shovel sewerslide soldiers!!!!! Their lore is so interesting and sad and it gets completely boiled down to memes that are actual outright lies about the kriegers.
A appreciate this channel but there's always some really clunky words thrown in the script.
In this video "amicable" isn't correct and the script writer was probably reaching for "amenable".
"Bucolic" is almost certainly incorrect unless there are rolling, grassy hills somewhere inside of a hiveworld.
I find these awkward overreaches in vocabulary always drag my experience of the video down.
"Interned" where it should be "interred".
