I was born August of 1995 in Ohio. I now live in North Carolina. I am a mechanical engineering for a tire company and I have been a professional open-format club / mobile DJ since 2012. 1. This is the best install video I’ve seen, you actually explained every detail 2. How come you drilled the holes for the self tapers? Wouldn’t u be able to just send them through?
I didn't drill the hole for the self taping screws I drilling the hole for the wire in the middle.

Great video. If you were to have tied the rock lights into your dome lights so everytime you open your car the rock lights turn on with the dome lights what wiring needs to be done while still managing on using a OEM style switch.
Not sure. That be a little complicated you need a special relay switch to do that

My kit came with blue ,brown,yellow/green stripe im trying to wire same zombie light switch any help on what colors go to what ?

Would you do a undercoating for your truck? And the reasoning why you would or wouldn’t do it.
Would not. Toyota does a good job coating the areas that can rust and in my climate zone rust isn't common

do you need a switch or can you mount straight to the battery with inline fuse and just control on and off with phone?
In that case it will be constantly draining your battery even if the lights are off the controller is still on
I would have tapped into the 30 amp trailer power
so do i need to worry about my battery running out from having it connected to it while im away from the car for long amounts of time
No because of the switch. If the switch is off no power is drawn. That said these leds require very little power to run. I have left them on and forgot for over a day and still had plenty of battery truck started no problem. I leave them on all the time when I am at restaurants and out shopping.
So quick question… they only sent me the curved mounts, so would I encounter any problems if I mount them without the rubber plates?
Yeah it ain't going to mount up great. I would contact the about the flat mounts
It won’t cause any harm to mount without them. It actually looks better because it’s flush with the fender well. I’ve never used the mounts because it makes it bulky and have never encountered any problems.
how come no videos of you ever rock crawling or going off road?
I dont. I tow and travel most them time for work. Cant afford breaking the truck nor do I have time to do stuff like that
