Hi. I would have been interested to know how the Gregory Zulu/Jade compared with the Osprey Stratos/Sirrus rather than the Kestrel/Kyte as we’re not comparing comparable packs. The back systems are designed for completely different conditions. Kestrel more for cooler conditions and hauling extra gear with the benefit of daisy chains for ad-ons and tougher fabric for more robust use. Ideal for scrambling in autumn winter (but use in all UK seasons) with a relatively slim back where excess gear and non-rock/ice climbing packs unnecessary
Great video, very helpful. I have been trying to find the dimensions of the straps to see if it can accommodate my peak design capture clip. Can not find anything online, even on the Gregory website. Could you help please? The capture clip can be supported on a strap 6.4cm wide and 2.2cm thick.
How does it work to take the water bottle to drink and put it back in the pocket without taking the backpack off your back? I have seen that it is not very comfortable. What do you think? If it were both frontal and vertical, I think it would already be a perfect backpack. Thanks a lot.
Hello. In this video you claimed to have approx. 9 kilos/19.8# in the pack and that the pack is carrying well and comfortable. Have you tried a load of say 14 kilos/30.8# in this pack? If so how did it perform with that load weight? Thanks for the video.
I believe both packs are rated to at least 35 lbs or approx. 16 kg. Honestly this is plenty unless you are trying to go more than a few days overnight and carrying large quantities of water.

Widest part is 6.5 x 2.5 but it’s quite squishy. I think it will fit no problem.

Whats about Zulu 30? It is enough big for over night? To take more items like tent, matress. sleeping bag, stove? Or for winter?
You can overnight with it but you would have to be ultralight.
Which one is more durable? Kyte or jade? Also, is jade 33 suitable for one-day hiking in summer? Isn't it too large?
Jade is the better pack. 33 can be used as day pack.

No as my daughter has a back problem. I think 14 would probably be the limit for comfort.
