- I'm finishing the work on my mini bonsai today. I'm working on a variety of small trees before they come inside for the winter.

So enjoyable!
What a treat to watch you care for minis and such a cool feeling to see my mini pot as a beautiful miniature bonsai!
Thanks Izabela, your pot makes the tree!!!
Nigel, if you ever decide to sell merchandise, you should definitely make T-shirts with the phrase "Here I go..." on them ;) Been following you for years!
Also "Big cutting cominup!! 🔥
And “i think it has to go”
I'd buy one!
Also, the zombie apocalypse
And also "big cut"
Nice clean up work. The tray looks very neat again!
Yay first!
The bottom of the pot has no seperation on the feet that doesn’t help with drainage either Nigel. Nice series on your little trees.
Que gran Maestro yo también tengo muchas portulacaria es mi gran pasión tu para mí eres un referente un MAESTRO amigo un fuerte abrazo desde España 🇪🇦
I've found the same issue with my mini bonsai of having the drainage hole clogged with roots. I've basically eliminated that issue by drilling out a bigger hole.
Those tiny pots are so pretty!
👍👌👌
Loved this mini-series on the the mini bonsai! What a fantastic collection of pots you have for these trees - perfect colours that complement, and an interesting variety of styles. 👌
Love watching you delicately care for these tiny bonsai. I wanted to share that first little tree is a Crassula Tetragona succulent sometimes called mini pines, but your right I think they are part of the jade family 😊
Love the mame's. The weather looks like Melbourne today without the snow. Thx Nigel
Awesomeness, love these mini bonsai
Great “little” series ;-) Thanks, keep growing
Fantastic. Cool to see these trees develop
These little trees are superb! Great pruning work on them.
Such perfect little trees!
Fun series, and fantastic close up video coverage! Nice work Nigel!!’
Really cool series, good sir.
These minis and your approach to them is so different than your norm. I’m diggin it.
Bravo à vous pour ce superbe reportage. C’est magnifique
You have so much patience with your tiny trees. I have given up using small pots as they dried out so fast and I lost a few due to sun damage. I now tend to stick to larger pots. The Jades I have are quite thick and chunky, so easy to cut a large branch off and easily rooted to get a decent looking plant.
That looks like a cup for green tea that someone has drilled holes in. I`ve been buying similar cups and soup bowls from a local second-hand store and drilling holes in them. They are often perfect for small bonsai and cacti/succulents.
Thank you for sharing 👍
👍🌳
Bạn có thể chia sẻ chất trồng mà bạn đang dùng cho mình có được không...???
Love the miniature bonsai. If it’s not too much trouble, why do you cut off the older, bigger, lower branches? Is it just for appearance or is there some thing that helps the plant to develop sickness?
It allows the tree to focus on new growth.
Where you get the pots for your bonsai?
For some reason it is impossible to get the lilliput variety here in the UK. Frustrating for a jade lover like my self
