    That's wonderful ... Looks like you have a good chance the fruit on the Pen Golden will hold. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

      This is the only anonna that I know of that survives in cold winters. If I were in the tropics, I wouldn't bother with this one, there's thousands of tropical annonas to grow and enjoy.

      I think it might grow in the tropics, however it might never fruit because I believe it needs chill hours to set flowers. I would suggest to grow tropical annonas; there are so many out there.

    What time of year did you graft up your pawpaws? Before the first leaf push like with other deciduous fruiting trees?

      I think it was April, and I don't remember if the leaves had already pushed a little or not.
