  • Outfeed table for my Dewalt Dwe7492 jobsite table saw.
Cutting large sheets of plywood on a jobsite table saw can be a struggle, with this outfeed table it’s easy! The outfeed table is lightweight and easy to put on the table saw.

You should do a video on that table saw base with side extensions you're using in this video. It's a nice build!

I like your videos about this saw and great to see what to add. I just tried buying it but it is currently sold out everywhere. Looking forward to when I finally get it :) Anna

My dwe7492 just arrived so hopefully stock is coming in now. I would like to make this outfeed as the table is slightly shorter than my previous dwe7491

adamandlorraine i saw that your 7491 had a seriously warped table. How is your 7492? Hope you are satisfied with it! Strange, so far I only had very good experience with Dewalt. So far did not get a shipping notification but already sold my rage 5 saw :) Anna

@@LuteandTheorbo hi, yes it was a long process in which the dwe7491 got smashed up when it was shipped back to me after repair. So they had to replace. The new top does have a slight high point in the middle where I can get a straight edge to rock but it's so small I can't face going through the whole procedure again. I expect they all will have minor imperfections that are within a certain tolerance. It's a nicer model with a few little improvements.

Great and elegant idea! Would I by any chance be able to have your plans for building one of my own? Ask since your measurements seems to be working great. Thanks in advance 🙏🏻

Rasmus Malgerud Björgell I don’t have plans for the outfeed table... I just cut some pieces and made it to fit

That's good. I might need something similar as the new 7492 is shorter in the outfeed than the 7491.

@@WorkbenchWoodworking I use the DeWalt rolling stand so won't have the wooden base to rest the outfeed supports on. Maybe I can cut the supports to rest on the tubular steel frame....

Awesome. I really need something like that for a mobile and highly portable workstation. seems like a very good fit.
Any reason to not make it wider, to support workpieces that are cut wider than the table itself, using the extension (like rip cuts)?

      @WorkbenchWoodworking  3 роки тому

eranyanay I kept it this size so I can store the outfeed table under the table saw

I wonder why some still demand for plans and measurement. Don't they have their table saws with them to measure on their own based on their actual requirement. This concept is really not so complicated but then it is so ingenuous. Thanks for sharing.

The piece I cut of the suports with my jigsaw is 40mm x 70mm
      The small blocks are 40mm x 40mm

Super!

In reality Dewalt is not concerned with supplying a TOP bench saw: -The internal dust insulation has been changed, even so the machine releases a lot of dust. - It's a noisy machine. - The consumer does not have the option to buy this machine at 127 volts. - No disc brake - Goniometer with clearance. - There is no flange size option, plastering the consumer to buy cutting discs of another size (should come shaft hole flanges of other disc sizes as an accessory). - The cutting edge is out of adjustment. - The angle adjustment knob is too hard as well as unreliable. - Does not fit 254 mm disc, only 250 mm. When starting and stopping the engine, strangely "spark". DISAPPOINTMENT! The industries, such as Bosch, Makita, Dewalt etc. it is the same disrespect towards the consumer. Adilson you're right! Enough of watching videos from UA-camrs running their hands over the heads of the saw manufacturers just to beg and beg a shut up and in favor of GARBAGE!!!!!!! People who keep selling themselves to the manufacturers of saws and tools in exchange for "jabá". The reality is one, for tool manufacturers, we are considered third class consumers, not to mention the lack of safety and quality! We cannot and must not accept these equipment and tools without quality, safety and respect for others, it is the lack of maturity prevailing at the expense of reasonableness, common sense, ethics, safety and respect! We cannot accept that we Brazilians are treated as third-class consumers, denying us and making us have to consume products without quality. We don't have to accept what the manufacturers want to sell us and push down our throats, precarious, limited machines, which fall short of our needs. Today, the market has a lack and need for portable saws with better quality, as well as features and safety. This "little chat" and the justification of the industries that these machines are for construction sites only serves to relieve them of launching better saws. Year after year the so-called "releases" and or "new" do not have effective advances and improvements. It is the same as always, the accommodation of industries. What really changes is just price, always more expensive, without significant effective improvements for the consumer!

I like the stand and outfeed table. However, you placed your arm in front of the jigsaw blade. Yes, it’s just a jigsaw, but it has a blade, motorized to run at several hundred strokes per minute, and your wrist is very vulnerable. There is a reason suicides slit their wrists. A slight stumble or slip... Please be more careful.
