Such skill and adaptability to repair anything. I have nothing but admiration for them.
Used to be like that in the states. Now we're all consumers
Absolutely. Hard earned money!

Superb technique, saving ecosystem and earning livelihood. Highly appreciated
Congratulations for this worker, amazing well done job. You guys in Pakistán are awesome repairing things
Do you used carbonate dust for fixing with glue?

These people are environment hero. They saved the environment by repairing and reusing materials that in more “modern” countries are only one way to go to scrap and replaced with new.
Totally admire these people.
Pakistani peoples are not very rich like modern countries peoples, that's why they repair the things and use them as long as possible.
The ‘modern’ countries throw them away because labor costs too much to repair them. This is cheap labor so it makes sense to fix them there and other places that don’t pay much.
Brilliant to see someone with skills to repair parts 👍
Great work! We need to get back to repairing things in Europe and US too! Thumps up if you agree!
I work at a dealership shop and I wish that one day we could repair the majority of parts in vehicles. I literally have replaced engines because of simple things to fix like oil leaks. I have also replaced entire dash assemblies because customers see a very tiny blemish on it. Unfortunately Americans got used to the capitalist only new to fix cars approach.
I find it beautiful how much effort they put into re-using broken parts. Those guys try their best to fully use anything factory made.... not like us in here where we just throw it away and replace it whenever its 'broken'. Love those videos, keep it up guys
In most cases the labour cost to do so would not be worth the effort. Then there is the very large issue about how this would effect liability for insurance purposes.
Is amazing the skills this people have to fix everything inted of replace like we do here in the U.S...!
Labour is cheaper than part there
Yes Pakistanis can Repair everything the American cut the aid since decades but we managed to upgrade f16 and other American weapons on our skills and noe we are able to
Make 80% weapons
You'd almost think us is a third world country 🤣
@@David-eg4lv bruh you cant talk about pakistani proxy wars if you're from the US. Every (modern) war is in one form or another a US proxy war

These guys can fix anything, amazing. The US needs people like this, too many here are worthless.
US just replace already made parts. They got no skills like this. And even if they did they would be too lazy to sit there and do kind of work.

That’s actually meant when your sparepart shop telling you it’s out of stock but can delivered next week.
I wonder if that is baking soda...along with superglue the use as a filler between the red and clear plastic. That is a known repair technique used in guitar nut repair.
yes I think it is as well
I've used this before in repairs in the shop on plastic parts. It creates one hell of a fast hard bond.
desotopete, i just posted that then scrolled down to see you had also spotted it. i use the combination for all sorts of things.
Yes, it must be baking soda, baking soda and super fast glue works fine, sometimes I use it for broken plastic motorcycle parts.
But I don't know where I can find these red plastic he used 🤔
@@MotorKollektiv , he has just used red perspex or polycarbonate. you can get it from suppliers of plastic sheeting. it will not last as long as the original plastic

He done all that work to the lens to make it look brand new, but left the back looking like it came from a salvage yard. He could have at least wiped the back down with a rag or something. Nice work though, great ingenuity and knowledge.
Pakistanis technician can make, repair, rebuild, anything. Heck Pakistanis even made the Atomic Bomb, with almost no help from anyone. Only country in the World, to be able to do so, with so little machinery, but a lot of Genius Brain Power.
Not true lots of parts are being smuggled too
Yepp this boy has some wicked skills 😀👍👍👍👍👍 good on ya .
The cost of labor is explosively high in US, that nothing can be repaired. This blows everyone's wallet and creates lots of junk
So, you want to work in sweatshop in Pakistan?
Yes it's a way to expand economy costly labour is good some time
@@9inchpp 🤣😂😅
Wow these people understand nothing about the throwaway society they live in. This man isnt working in a sweatshop. He has his own shop. If the US is the greatest country in the world they would at least produce taillights that could be repaired. Instead you pay 1500 for a new taillight everytime it goes out. And it's a sealed one. Get out the comment section
@@IM.U528 no it's not. Most of the labor cost goes to the company. If you wanted to expand the economy, pay the technician what they're worth. That isn't happening.
Dang. I am VERY impressed.

Mechanic is not a changer of parts , mechanic is this man
It is all down to economics. While it is a lot cheaper to repair these light lens back there, it is a lot cheaper to just replace them with new ones in the West. The labor cost along in replacing these components are often times more than than the cost of the parts. This video shows how resourceful humans are when it comes to making a living.

All the people praising this guy, would complain if I installed that taillight on their car after an accident “it doesn’t match” “it leaked” “it’s the wrong color” and the list of complaints is 30 years long.
Great idea, and skill working with so little, but don’t pretend a “first world” consumer would accept that.
i am from the same country as this chap and here new light will cost around 100 dollar and he fixed it for like 10 dollars max and i can tell you from experience that it will work and not leak for like 3-4 years so all in all a good deal.
Congratulations... amazing.. the best workers
