Представьте что они смогут зделать если им дать хорошее оборудование. Я думаю они давно бы сделали автобус который сможет летать на марс.
Те кто смеётся над таким ремонтом далёк от ремонта! Парни молодцы в таких условиях восстановить блок это мастерство! Сам латал блок после кулака простой пластиной из металла и полуавтомата только пластина должна быть железная и никак не чугунная!
А тут пластина на супер-клей с металлической пылью или стружкой, вообще жара.

Я до момента с суперклеем думал что народ угарает. Но увидел это и о...л. Очень удивлён был точнее
@@Alex_Foxter если внимательно посмотреть то там изначально пластины приваривают к блоку и меж собой а чем потом герметизируют швы непонятно может эпоксидка или другой состав делается это для того чтоб не текло масло через поры если таковые образуются!
@@user-zb8ex6lp2n это вообще неправильно. Сварной шов должен быть герметичным изначально

отвечаю всем скептикам: если бы отремонтированные таким образом блоки им привозили бы обратно через неделю, для бесплатной переделки - они не занимались бы подобным ремонтом, сталобыть ходят движки!
Унас нет мастеров чуть что принеси новый я заменю мастера по замене деталей
Тоже думаю раз люди занимаются этим значит это востребовано
А может только для ютуба раз заштопали дерьмом и супер-клеем с пылью. Они же не показали двигатель в работе

Так они может и гарантию дают два дня? И только на герметичность. А то, что детали будут изнашиваться быстрее... это проблемы хозяина.

In Canada that would go to the scrapyard.. its unreal how we have become a through away society... I've seen lots of old tractors with brass on the engine blocks and there still running. Nice to see people actually fix things.
You can repair in Canada but it would cost a lot like in any other developed country and the product of such repair wouldn't last too long.

@@makeintoschu The forces to blow the sides out were extreme... That block is wasted... Mains are all out of whack.. It is unsafe to repair something like that... But over there Life isn't as valuable as it is here...
@@OldSkoolF yup, but their labour is cheap, they can't afford most of the new parts so What they do is logical.
@@makeintoschu On most tractors the block connects the front and rear tires... I really hope they don't use that thing on a road or near kids...

And fills imperfections in the welds with superglue. Wonder how long that stuff lasts with the engine running before it just burns away.

Its not reliable at all. The block is made from cast metal (iron) . The patch;;;
Very reliable given its circumstances ,,that patch its meant to hold oil not gonna be under pressure
But how will it handle thermal cycles, vibration, etc? That's my main concern.
It's reliable for 1 start cycle
I imagine It must be pretty reliable. Think of it this way. This is a pretty big job and whoever the client is owns a tractor, meaning he is running a business as well. If this repair job truly was not reliable he would never go to him in the first place and if it did turn out to not be reliable, I highly doubt the vendor would get much business and find another trade to put his time into. Not to mention that no matter where you are in the world, people are people and if it didn't work he would have some very angry customers at his door the next day.

Lets weld up some humongous holes in a block. Clean it?? Naah, even vee out the cracks? Naah. Then weld some rusty old steel to the cast iron with a stick welder and no welding shield. Apart from the eye damage you can see nothing anyway. All done rolling it around on the dirt.
And will it all be machined back square? Naah. The main tunnel will be eons out of square with all that welding

The crankshaft wasn't even involved. It's a bare block
@@drlegendre what’s being referred to is the line bore of the crank journals after that much heat. Curious to see how much things shifted
Bud, that engine block will probably still be motoring on long after your current motor has ceased to be economically sound. I've seen repairs like this that were done as far back as in the 50's, and they've lasted just fine, no snapped cranks or anything daft like that. Basically if it didn't work they wouldn't bother doing it.
For me to believe that you fixed, you have to show me the video of the engine running....no offense.
It will run trust me.

это они ещё про синюю изоленту не знают...
Мы деградируем ещё при советах мы примерно этим занимались сейчас всё есть
А главного не заметил- кизяк. Если бы не кизяк- сварочная маска и суперклей не вытянули бы этот блок с того света. А вообще молодцы, как условия позволяют так и ремонтируют, и техника работает.

general plan is OK, but have doubts about those welds, and whatever filler they used after
that filler is the pakistan equivalent of JB weld its known as BJ weld after the british PM both a bit dodgy
I would have felt better with out the arc weld and just used brazing rod. Would not have looked as good but I think it would hold better

nah some things are just meant for the scrap, can't see it expanding and contracting very well with the rest of the cast block
It’s different over there. This is probably the only option.
it is possible to do this kind of thing, welding in a piece of cast iron to match. dunno about the quality of this particular repair though. didn't really like those welds

If your going to repair such a fatal injury as this why didn't he bolt the block on to a straight edge for alignment twist first, the block is really to weakened to be of commercial use.
