When there's the 7 bar break, rather than brining the music back in a bar early, it's because he carries on the previous section for 9 bars, so he drops out a bit later than you'd expect.
I've just realized that the released version of the track is much shorter than the version that I'm breaking down. The link to the one I'm breaking down is in the description. Someone may have simply extended it, maybe it's an unreleased extended version, and maybe those reversed portions aren't in the original mix. (Though they are still dope and clearly work). With that said, just know that the version we're doing is the one in the description :)
it's a you tube extended v. The original is Millsart step to Enchantment stringent (Mecca ep) time 3.45 ua-cam.com/video/tCmRy8_2bbA/v-deo.html&ab_channel=TECHNO
Haha nice video, love the (re-)naming of your midi tracks in this one! Including the video occasionally also helps your explanations somewhat I guess. I always found this extended version of the track paced so nicely, gives the animated filters and everything a bit more time to unfold.
Not sure how much of a breakdown this is it would be cool to see the synths used and the track reconstructed. This is literally just a dude looking at the midi files?

Thanks for this dude. So much power and hypnotic mastery combined with simplicity and like you said an amazing groove.
This song is so freaking good

Glad you dig :) there are about 40 other breakdowns on the channel! Dropping another today :)
Nice not heard the 7 minute version before, can you do Spastik for a future vid?
lol - check the pinned comment - I don't know if it's an official dit or not. That's a really good idea! I'll look into it :)
HORRORIST IN THE STUDIO, PLEEEASEEE! )))
it would be EXTREMELY COOL if you'd do a breakdown of "The Extremist" from Waveform Transmission Vol.3. esp. FM riffs :) TG33 fame :)
we'll see...
How do you create the midi files? I mean, are you "extracting" midi files from the audio, using software?
just an estimate by ear:)
@@alexwilcoxx But we can't actually hear the midi. 😂
great work, Alex! i loved it. -jason from CPH :)
ayyy Jason - glad you enjoyed!

Just cleared up some space on it! It should work now :)
Holy shit this is perfect, you sure this is your thing?
I'm not sure what you mean. I didn't recreate the track - I just mapped out the midi so I could talk about arrangement.
What is he doing, he just plays a sample!?
I.. I don't understand? what's the use of this.. who needs the MIDI of this? everybody wants to know about the sounddesign of course.. smh
