RC Short Course Trucks, Racing & Bashing At Track

- Check it out! I went down to a new RC track that just got finished being developed that’s right around the corner from me! So of course I had to go check it out. I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to test out the ECX Torment on a track and see how well my upgrades performed! I wasn’t the only guy at the track today thought. I was joined with two other local guys and the owner of the track. And so todays adventure had begun with a combination of learning how are trucks ran through the track and some minor competition, o and don’t forget about all of the bashing that was going on in the mean time! ;) Haha.
Well I hope you all enjoyed this little video and trust me there will be a lot more videos of this track coming soon! Still a lot of work needs to be done… but I am glad to say that I am going to be a part of this up and coming new track for this year!

Cool, I have a torment myself, but upgraded it to brushless (4350 kv) - now does backflips and wheelies from standing start

couldn't agree more! thiers still a lot of work to do. when I was up thier we were still playing around with the jump set ups and fine tuning / adjusting them to make them good for the trucks to launch off of.

Cooldibs Thank you buddy! im glad you liked it! It was a totally new way for me filming. I normally have a lot of control over my shots and how things will look, however when I film something like this.....Its more of just, grab the camera and go and see what moments you can capture! :)

What upgrades do you have on the ECX again? On mine i have a 4000kv brushless motor and a new transmission
_xGamer17 Currently just the motor witch is the castle creations 3800kv motor, badland tires and proline racing power stroke shocks with pro-spec yellow springs.
Would be epic if someone opened a track near where I live.
Have you broke anything on the ecx and is castle still doing g that thing where you trade your old motor for a discount
adrian garza Havnt broke a thing yet! I don't know how....Haha but yes castle is still doing it. Info should be on their website.
I don't think that 2wd ecx short course was stock, probs had servo upgrades and motor upgrades, he probs added a few aluminium upgrades for the body, because the there ppl had really got cars that are like 288$ so I bet he upgraded it a lot, pls respond

Which tyres performed best on that surface?
spellward Ive noticed the Proline Blockades seem to do very well. Im going to try those soon.
What's the trick to it not spinning out like crazy? Mine just spins out every time I hit full throttle.
Do you have 2WD or 4WD?
2WD tend to spin much more

So I am going to be running 2wd short course u think the ECX torment would keep up with team associated I am a first timer
I would definitely upgrade the motor to a brushless setup if it dosn't have one already. for handling wise no it wont keep up with that.
+RC Overload do you think a traxxas slash is any better
+Destruction Production 2wd Slash understeers and its practically impossible to race with the stock tires. Upgrading to brushless on a slash 2wd is always a good idea.

I think my motor is brushless
that green truck (Torment?) seemed to be over-powered. Driver couldn't keep is driving straight. Too much tire spin.
