Hi Jonathan, I agree with you on refraining from multiple dating. I read a dating book written by a man for men and I was disgusted when he advised to date multiple women, keeping the "funnel full" . I felt that they were being encouraged to try multiple pieces of meat in order to find their favorite flavor. It was gross. :-(
Separated is MARRIED, don’t date a married man-hard stop. These are the guys we fall for hard.
A truly loving relationship is NOT transactional and people might find it hard to accept but it will destroy your relationship if you keep seeing it like a 50/50 share the bill thing.... 😢🙏❤

Relationships are too exhausting. As an introvert I actually like being alone most of the time. I can go out with friends and after 4-5 hours I am ready to go home. Because I can be vivacious and happy when I am out people don’t believe that I am an introvert. I like being an enigma and men seem to chase me because I never pursue them. I was married for twenty years and have two adult daughters who I spend most of my free time with. I am not sure what my love language is so I need to read this book to find out.

THis paying for dates stuff. If a woman cooks,that counts. The guy pays to take you out. You bake his favorite pie/cake. You find out his favorite meal and cook it for him. You make some dishes for him. If there's something his mother makes, be careful with that one. Never act like your a better cook in front of his mother. Cooking rules. Guys want women to make "food" for them. I was never appreciated for all the food I made that was excellent and saved everybody lots of money.

Of course, men and women can be simply friends.
In my practical experience, it’s rare unless the sexual elephant in the room is addressed. (Or one of the people is gay.) I’ve explain this to my daughter each and every time she wants to be friends with a guy she’s not interested in lol. It inevitably leads to her having to ‘turn him down’, although she does remain friends with them.

I agree, men & woman can be just friends. I have many male( straight) friends. Some are married & some single. Boundaries between both are a must but definitely can work.

This definitely resonates- I truly love your mention of the 1st few 💗 languages because those are my 💗 languages- my dating style is akin to yours. Sure I can talk to a few, but seeing someone IRL is an entirely different matter… I had a convo yesterday that had me thinking the guy i chose we may be reading different parts of the same book… hmmm 🤔 I confronted him but now I am the one who is taking a step back… I have an attachment style like 3Cats bf bc I grew up rough & have been on my own since 16/17 years old.. so once I see my affection &/or freedom is infringed upon - the relationship is in danger…. I do have other prospects & for someone to come in & behave as if he’s the only one that counts - I have issue with that! As you said- if you point a finger, 3 are pointing back - That’s how Karma works lest people forget… Thank you! 🫶🏼🙏🌹
