Good build video. If I could make a suggestion since I watch these videos for ideas and instruction as I learn I could use more detail. The 45 degree joints, did you use the domino ? The drawers looked like you may have rabbit joints and the bottoms 1/2 inch ply?
Hey Mark! I did not use dominos in the corner miter joints. I think it would be a good idea to do so next time however I wanted to have the flexibility to make minor adjustments as we clamped it up to get everything as square as possible. I was worried that if I used the domino's and somehow got one placed a little off, it would be hard to manipulate things into position once it was all glued. The drawers did have a rabbit in them to encase the plywood drawer bottom! Thanks for watching!
Just found your channel. Great looking vanity. I'll be making something similar in the next few months. It may have been edited out or you just had some really flat boards to start with, but I never saw you mill the faces with the jointer before hitting the planer?
Hey! It must just not have been captured. Everything went through the joiner before glue up! Good luck on your build! I had a great time building this piece! Always feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Lovely vanity. Love that the entire thing is hardwood.
Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment!
So sick!
Thanks brotha!
That’s a great build. Very simple yet elegant. Plus, white oak is my favorite.

Did you use a jointer or did you use a track saw for the edges@@schoonercreekdesigns
