I love your channel! Even though you dont do many female fregrence reviews I still enjoy how thorough you are and all the noticeable hard work you put into your channel. Looking forward to what's to come from you in 2020 😊
You can always tell the difference between a review video where someone throws together something for followers to click, and someone who tried, hard, to contribute to the community. This was amazing, from start to finish! Thank you for the compilation.
Great vid. Hanae Mori HiM edp is a steal. I don't know if you ever smelled YSL Tuxedo but the Mori is like that on the seriously cheap...Moustache edp too. Molinard, Guerlain and Lalique have a few that are bargain good to see them on the list too.

Hi Marc! I bought TDH 6,7 oz mid autumn to season those cold winter nights and here i am finding about your number one :D and this shouldn’t be surprising for those of us who have been a subscriber since the beginning of the channel ;)
You had the same journey as me! It's like watching myself! Thank you man, huh what a trip on memory lane sry english not my first language! Love your channel!!!
Finally your back the community has missed you. Just isnt the same without you. Dracdoc and you are the first fragrance reviewers i watched on youtube and also the ones who made me expand my fragrance collection thank you.
@@robes08 always a pleasure to watch the man, the myth, the legend marc doing fragrance reviews. Im a truck driver now in utah currently on the road still watching your vids. I might pick up some of the newer releases from issey miyake are they any good? They have been getting hype and now and days if you dont jump on the hype within a year there discontinued and reformulated and cost like 100-200 dollars for a fragrance that isnt worth the price. In thinking of nuit parfum, noir argent, and the other dark bottle with gold writing i forgot the name from issey miyake.
@@robes08 also love that on this video you have mentioned the ones that have been reformulated. Since your absence i have been telling other reviewers to let there viewers know that some of these fragrances have been reformulated to let us know because we watch yahll because we trust you for good reason but its important to not jump on something years later after being reformulated. For example i was just watching someones top 10 list and ferragamo f black and Bentley man intense made there list and people were complaining the performance isnt beast mode anymore same with mancera and montale so ive heard i did get to purchase Bentley man intense before the claims of reformulation have occured thankfully that one was a great smelling long lasting unique fragrance was literally just about to repurchase that and buy f black but after reading the performance sucks i decided not to pull the trigger.
Thanks for the list. I watched all the way through and paused to take notes. I acquired a travel sample of Gucci Guilty Absolute and I love it. I have to be careful how I wear it though. I think an outside setting or event would be best, indoors it could be too intense. Dirty leather is what I get. Also you're #1 Terre D Hermes is another one I sampled and I fell absolutely in love with that too. I sampled the Parfum so I will get a big bottle of that. How they assigned a scent to "flint" is beyond me. Superb fragrance.
Great idea for a video, and for kicking off 2020! I remember watching your videos more than ten years ago, I was still new to perfumes, and your review led me to buy Fahrenheit. That, and buying Kouros and Rive Gauche pour Homme completely changed everything. My first niche perfume was Chergui, which was a blind-buy about eight years ago, and that was largely based on it being on the top of your winter top 10 (20?) list, and some enthusiastic reviews on Basenotes. I haven't forgotten those days, and I can't help but feel a bit nostalgic. Great to see you going strong, and that you log in your SOTD on Basenotes (I'm more active there).
The amount of work you put in your videos is unlike any other fragrance reviewer. I've have been your fan since I got into the fragrance game in 2013. You have a sophisticated nose and I like that. Thanks again for this list and hope to see more lists like these (50-100$ for example).😄😄
Excellent list my man, great job, much appreciated.... L'INSTANT BY GUERLAIN THE ORIGINAL FORMULATION,square bottle,a MASTERPIECE,my ALL TIME FAVORITE for fall and winter(ONLY FOR THE MATURE GENTLEMEN).....Wore BVLGARI BLACK years ago,I really liked it back then...
At number 13, I’m watching to see you fit all those bottles on the table. LOL Thank you so much for putting this list together. I can’t imagine how long this took. Thanks, Marc!!!
Wow! That's awesome! Marc, u are both a fragrance reviewer and a fragrance critique at the same time (unlike most on UA-cam who are either this or that, but not both!). And I love that. Thanks a lot for always letting us tap into your wealth of experience and knowledge. 😍
Had to say you are the first reviewer I ever watched back in 2011, and I thank/blame you for getting me in the frag game. My first purchase was D&G Light Blue and obviously I've bought my fair share since.
I'm new to collecting and this is my first time watching you.. And love this video.. Ive just had encre noire delivered today and your spot on.. Its so nice but so different from all the designer stuff I've got.. Can't wait to watch your other stuff.. Thanks👍
Another stellar video. So cool to fast-forward from your 2011 top-100 designer list and see so many of those fragrances included in this top-50 under $50 list. The overlap helps me think about value in combination with quality and scent. You also made me think a little more cautiously about Armani as a brand, as they surely do market themselves as being on-par with Chanel, Dior, etc. I like the new Code Parfum and would love for you to try it and give us your thoughts and a rating, but I also recognize the cost as being super high for a strong, modern vanilla/iris combo. I've got many fragrances to sample before pulling the trigger on full bottles, and I am sure I'll find a better-value vanilla or date-night scent that can fill the role that Code Parfum would in my lineup. It's so humid here right now that sampling it on-skin will likely not go well, but we'll see what I think once the weather cools down later this year. Thanks again!
@@robes08 I really am haha! It's been super fun. Even if I end up disliking many of your top scents or choosing scents you're less fond of, it is great to be exposed to so many different scents than when watching fragrance influencers. I'd never have heard of many of these scents elsewhere, and certainly wouldn't get 15-20-minute reviews on them. Your channel has been a godsend, My only dilemma has been coming across your very positive reviews of fragrances that have been discontinued. I can find samples, but no full bottles, and then find myself wanting to smell the fragrance anyway, just because lol. I also wish you had date night scent videos. I feel like that's the only category I'm struggling to figure out, but I know I'll get there. I'm married, so it's all about my wife in that department.
Happy to help, this is a true list of someone that shows his taste in fragrance instead of infomercials like others which show the same scents because of free bottles and advertising money.
i own several of these fragrances 1. l'homme ideal cologne ( great scent but too bad longevity is really sucks on my skin) 2. hanae mori him ( nice tea scent, remind me of gucci pour homme 2 a bit, its more dark and heavy) 3. bright neroli (ok scent, not really my type, sold) 4. noble fig (better than neroli in my opinion) 5. terre'd hermes (my signature scent few years ago, still love it) 6. ck be (boring, but it does it's job. soapy scent) 7. fuel for life (holy shit i hate this stuff, is like poison, gonna sell it) 8. versace eau fraiche (too chemical opening, sold) 9. boss bottled (my top 3, always feel so comfy and warm when using this) 10. versace dreamer (harsh opening, drydown is not bad. hard to wear it, not versatile) 11. encre noire (wow, what a vetiver, so dark and mysterious) 12. amen (nice gourmand but more into pure malt, ultra zest and kryptomint) 13. burberry london (is quite good for this price, cinnamon and tobacco) 14. bentley intense for men (love love love! the opening smell spices and woodsy! love this more than absolute, thinking why absolute not making in this list) 15. 1 million ( uggggg....hate it, sell it) 16. the one edt (sweet and masculine and gentle and warm, too bad they are racist) 17. herba fresca (loveeeeeee, mint toothpaste, if you love toothpaste mint, get this now!)
Finally made time to watch this; great list. Not counting Jean-Paul, I wonder which perfumer shows up the most on this list? I see three Nathalie Lorson compositions.

I guessed 4 of your top 5. I was guessing pamplelune instead of gga. I can appreciate you're not a fan of "list" videos, but I have blind bought over a hundred Niche and designers from your top 20 lists over the years since finding out your nose and mine we're cut from the same cloth. Only got effed a couple times. Cough, roadster, cough... hope to see the top 20s come back. Hope 2020 is treating you well
Well done, enjoyed the tour. I’d say YSL L’Homme and Boss Bottled are THE quintessential office frags bar none, for me at least. Prada L’Homme easily a contender. 👍🏻
Excellent video! It’s very informative as it captures many good and great fragrances for $50 or less. Incorporating the turntable with the name of the fragrance on the screen allows viewers to either write down or take a screenshot of each bottle. VERY nice touch! I continue to love your ENERGY and PASSION for fragrance‼️🥰 Only one tiny suggestion. Lower the music. BTW, great tune 😊🎼. ❤️ your channel‼️👊🏾. Your die-hard American fan. 🇺🇸
Great great video bro! Became an instant fan. But I’m gonna tell you three scents that would have to be a must on this list. And I guarantee your gonna be like o shit lol.....Bijon, Joop, and Halloween Man x! But that Bijan is 17$ 🔥. ✌🏽
Keep up the good work. Like your review a lot. It is unlikely you can buy Hermes below 50 $. It is 57 € now on Notino. Mine was 80€ (100 $ at the time) Beautiful strong oranges. But after a hour or so, they (the oranges) starts to smell overripe. After 2 hours getting dangerously close to rotten. I hate overripe oranges and lemons. The first one from the Terres d Hermes line I bought, was Eau trais Fraiche, which is lighter and lesser ripe. But the effect is more or less the same to me. 125 ML for almost 90 Euro's. At that time ca 120 $. A year later I got myself convinced I should have bought the original. It is not possible that the entire fragrance communities could be wrong. So I ditched another 80 €. It is worse for me than the Eau Trais Fraiche. I have been using them for all but on me. Wardrobe mostly but even in my shoes. My feet don't stink, but sometimes the inner shoe soles do. Also tried one on my dog when he misbehaves buy again, it is too strong. If you can bear this scent, like most people do, than it is a great fragrance. Long lasting. Heavy sillage. Now I found last year an alternative for Terres D Hermes in which the oranges are really fresh and that is Narciso Rodriguez For Him Bleu Noir Eau De Toilette Extreme. The same vibe but no over ripe oranges, just very fresh.

Hah ha the Kouros! My favorite! Happy to see it on the list. Not for you young heads though. Kouros Silver too but not sure under 50.00
Mugler cologne? Baldessarini ultimate? Azzaro pour homme? Roma laura biaggioti? Loewe solo and 7 lalique homme
..but ok, great list
Made it to the end. Great list. Surprised at that number 1, also surprised at so many Guerleins (so?)
Cool vid!! I think it’d be cool to see a top list of releases for the past decade. 2010-2019 would be interesting from your perspective.
it's in the works
Excellent video! It’s very informative as it captures many good and great fragrances for $50 or less. Incorporating the turntable with the name of the fragrance on the screen allows viewers to either write down or take a screenshot of each bottle. VERY nice touch! I continue to love your ENERGY and PASSION for fragrance‼️🥰
Only one tiny suggestion. Lower the music. BTW, great tune 😊🎼.
❤️ your channel‼️👊🏾. Your die-hard American fan. 🇺🇸
Damn good list!!!
Watched this again...a year later...So many gems in this list!
I heard that Guerlain L'homme Ideal Cologne just got discontinued, if it's true than it's heartbraking tho. Better stock some remainings.
Ross, Marshalls, Burlington and TJ Maxx have em
You can still buy it,just gotta search...
Great list Marc, A*man is one if not the best fragance out there. My honest opinion.
Great great video bro! Became an instant fan. But I’m gonna tell you three scents that would have to be a must on this list. And I guarantee your gonna be like o shit lol.....Bijon, Joop, and Halloween Man x! But that Bijan is 17$ 🔥. ✌🏽
Eternity is a good one!
For the price , its a classic and worth a sniff.
Great Great list!
Happy 2020 from Denmark mate.... love your channel
Good. It would be nice to see a top list of designers that you own...not just being limited to whats on the site
Nice to see 2 of my gifts to you make the list.
this comment is a gift.
Keep up the good work. Like your review a lot.
It is unlikely you can buy Hermes below 50 $. It is 57 € now on Notino. Mine was 80€ (100 $ at the time)
Beautiful strong oranges.
It took me 5 years to appreciate A*Men... not until I sprayed it on my friend, and got to experience it from a distance :)
What about woman´s fragance?
Do you want a top 50?
Yes thank you please 🙏🙏🙏😉
@@MarcePaz2008 I hope you get your wish....
MERCEDESBENZS600 BASH 🤣🤣🤣
awesome list! What are your thoughts of Chaps, by Ralphie?
