Honestly speaking Charlie, I wanted to Michael Keaton to remain in the DCU as the batman and become the mentor to Next-gen...like Terry McGinnis to become Batman Beyond....or Christian Bale to return or Ben Affleck to remain as the batman and become the father to Damian Wayne/Robin...that would've been low-key cool in the upcoming batman: the brave and the bold movie of James Gunn's DCU.
The part that tickled me the most wasn't the cameos, it was finally seeing Batman use his Batarangs in a fight. In each of the previous 10 live action movies that featured Batman, he only used his Batarangs as gadgets or to destroy something, whereas in the comics and even in animation, he also uses them to knock people out. Seeing Michael Keaton's Batman do that made me so happy.
His fight scenes were amazing!
Need to see them stuck in arms TDKR style! Batfleck failed to deliver the coolest part of his Batman schtick which was only successful because he somewhat resembled Millers Batman from TDKR

Just saw it, really felt like a batman movie. Ezra just didnt click, maybe the firat 2 seasons of the flash have me spoiled. The pacing was all over the place, only batman was done right, the score was bad . The dark flash arc was underwhelming, the cgi oof. Its not a bad movie though, the potential it had made it feel underwhelming. 7/10 for me.

Supergirl barely had a build up and yet we have her in full fledged action way too soon, atleast show what happened in krypton with her, why she is the way she is , her motives and her actions. Show zod killing the infant kalel but no, that dark flash speech should have been after a battle with barry but no even that wasnt there, Fucking hell they nailed the fight scenes with both the batman though. Should have choosen bale's bruce wayne though at the end but it is what it is.
Nicholas Cage got the loudest scream out of all the other cameos when he showed up in my cinema haha. What a timeline to live in!

Same thing happened at my theater, and it was amazing! I have to admit, it took me by surprise too -- I tapped my girlfriend's leg and quickly told her the story, then explained it in full after the movie.
Same, no one clapped for Christopher Reeves 😢 probably cuz it was bad cgi but then again they were both bad cgi.

I think the meaning of the tooth falling out is more of a metaphor towards the fact that no matter how much barry may try to fix the timeline, it will never be the same as it was. In this instance George Clooney being batman, and thus the possibility of other characters being represented by different actors. Similar vibe here i get from the cw show where J garrick demonstrates this lesson by braking a coffee cup.
Seeing Clooney as Bruce again is a surprise, and now I do wish to see him as an improved version of the character that still acknowledged the funny things about his former past version
I would have preferred to see Keaton at the end.....Not a big Clooney fan (as far as Batman goes)!!!!!

My question is what timeline does Aquaman 2 take place in is it the OG DCEU time line or is it the new tineline the Flash lives in with Clooney? My other question is if all these timelines are in a multiverse does that mean the OG DCEU timeline keeps going and Flash just vanishes from it lol will the other league members not be like where the hell is Flash?

The original ending was supposed to have Keaton and Supergirl appear in the new established universe which would lead into the Batgirl film with Keaton. I hope WB decides to just release the Bat Girl movie since it was done anyway so we can see Keaton last hurrah as Batman we can just treat it as an else world sequel to the Flash movie since the old DCEU is over anyway you can literally have any continuity you want with it now because its over.

I love how they played the relationship between Supergirl, Kara and her cousin, Superman , Kal-El. You can tell how much she loved Kal-El and when she asked Zod about Kal-El, "he didn't survived as an infant", Kara lost her sh*t right there, all the planning just went out the door, and she screamed "WHAT DID YOU DO"!!!???. Great scene.

People got loud at Nick Cage and George Clooney, I screamed for Helen Slater and Christopher Reeves, the team up that never was. I thought that was very poetic. The movie was really fun!

That was so insane. When Nic Cage showed up I just starting silently laughing uncontrollably. Also couldn't believe Clooney showed up. I remember someone saying the movie should end with Ezra being stuck in the same universe as George Clooney batman and it actually happened.

The flash is a great movie. Ezra has done horrible things but I watched it bc of Keaton and sasha and hundreds of others that worked on it. I hope Ezra gets the help he needs and can be a better person going forward.

What I got out of the post credit scene is that Barry was explaining that some people are different in every timeline and some people are the same. We saw multiple supermen, Flash's and Batmen. We only see the one Aquaman and Barry explains that he was the same. Seems like a sly confirmation that Momoa will still be Aquaman.

I think his tooth fell again because he lost it when he didn’t have his powers. When he got his powers back his tooth was already damaged. This is nice attention to details from the writers. I hope we see Kara Zor-El again, I liked her performance and the actress who played her “Sasha Calle” did good job in my opinion. I watched the movie without listening to any reviews and I really enjoyed it, one of the best DC movies until now.

My interpretation of the tooth falling out is that Barry moving the tomatoes to the top shelf still resulted in the events of the movie happening; he didn’t undo any of the alt timeline where he encounters his younger self. Had he been successful, he never would have had the experience of losing the tooth and gluing it back. And now he's created a new timeline with an alt Batman (and who knows what other changes). I think it was meant to be ironical and not just a visual gag due to his anxiety.

Love this film. Too bad the reception will be mixed and unpredictable. I feel like a lot of Snyder fans have no idea how much this film actually respects Snyder’s canon of events. There is so much to this flick - not sure where to begin but wow. What a ride.

The tone of the film was in stark contrast to Snyders films. It dosent hold the same weight when it’s done in such a comedic way. I prefer to have these fantastical characters against a serious backdrop. It’s such a damn frustrating shame they changed their mind about what they planned for these characters.

I thought this was gonna be horrid and that’s why they kept delaying it but I was surprised I liked it so glad how they handled the supergirl situation against Zod and his army (which was way bigger than the one he brought in man of steel!) kinda wish they expanded on the final boss more than the 8 min he got
I think it's smart to end the movie this way and set up a new DCU. Barry can now technically travel to any universe if he wants to including the new DCU. So it opens door to either keep Ezra and cast a new one to be the main DCU Flash. I was low key hoping for a Christian Bale cameo, but I guess it makes sense to pick Clooney, since Bale's batman story already had a closure.

I enjoyed this movie as well as seeing more of the Flash's powers.
I loved the way they incorporated so many versions of the DC heroes in the multiverse scenes, as well as the Earths colliding.
The story was written and directed very well, and the acting was also great.
I doubt that James Gunn wiĺl include Ezra Miller in the future DC films, because of Miller's self-destruction. His antics could hurt the future of DC films.
I love Miller's potrayal of the Flash, but i'd understand if James Gunn replaced him, for obvious reasons.

I soooooooooo wanted an action scene with Keaton's batmobile. I think there's a missed opportunity.
There was really nowhere in the plot for him to be able to use it.
But the Batplane was awesome! Especially the rotating fuselage.

The tooth falling means even though he "repaired" the timeline, allowing his mother to die, everything he experienced still happened and affected him and wont be erased from his perspective.

I just watched it today, and with all the negative reviews I expected it to be awful, but it was amazing. I've been a Flash fan since the early 60's. Thanks for all your Flash related content. Keaton's Batman fight scenes were worth the price of admission alone. He was much more agile than in the original movies.

Sasha Calle did an impressive job considering she came from being in soap operas I really want to see her back in whatever new plans the DCEU has in store, and why is Aquaman always portrayed as a drunk?
Did you notice that during the conversation with Aquaman there were like 2 or 3 different outfits that Aquaman was wearing? I think it was another way of showing certain characters were fluid and certain characters were set.
This movie was the bomb that George Clooney part was excellent executed to perfection they only way they could have topped it if Adam west was alive and he pooped out of the car😂 excellent movie..

I actually like this movie . Can care less about all the shenanigans the actor that plays Flash. It felt like it was hyped up then the studios wanted to kill it because of Ezra. But it was still cool with the exception some bad CGI here and there

No Grant Gustin. Absolutely huge middle to the Arrowverse but they brought Nicolas Cages Superman absolutely bonkers.

I honestly had more fun at Fast X, but as comic book movies go that one is in the middle of the herd slightly above average.
I really loved this movie. I’m not going to say it’s the best comic book movie ever, I’m not even going to say it’s the best DC movie ever. But it is a really damn good movie. I’m so sick and tired of people complaining about fan service in nostalgia. There’s this thing with wanna be movie critics that wish they were Chris Stuckmann that have got it in their heads, that if there’s any fan, service or nostalgia in a movie that that is such a bad thing, it must mean the movies bad. I’m seeing reviews on UA-cam that are claiming it’s a bad movie solely based on fan service in nostalgia.
Look if this wasn’t a good movie and it didn’t have any heart and it didn’t have any emotion and all it was was fan service, and nostalgia. I would say yeah the trade to use that as a cheap way to get a win but that’s not what they did here. And I’m sorry if you claim to be a fan of comics, and you knew going into this that this was going to be a mix between flashpoint and meeting the multi-verse then you already knew some of this stuff was going to happen.
But I really did enjoy this movie. It’s not that often you find a movie in any genre that can have you holding your guts laughing and have multiple times where you’re fighting back tears this movie does that.
This is not the last DCEU movie. I’ve seen a lot of people say that it’s a terrific ending to that universe but we have to remember it’s really not. Aquaman in 5 1/2 months is actually the last movie in this universe but this movie to me represented what I wish movies like Batman, V Superman, and the first suicide squad movie and WW 84 could’ve been. There have been some really good movies in this DC universe, I loved a Man of steel, I love both Shazam movies, the first wonder woman, Zack, Snyders Justice league, the second suicide squad movie, this is probably ride up there easily in my top 3 DCEU movies.
this definitely will be the block buster of the summer of 2023 i saw sum new movie trailers and i don’t even think that new mission impossible movie will stand up to this
Well Blue Beetle was also made qith the intention to be in thebold DCEU as well. James Gunn said Blue Beetle himself will be in his reboot but not that the movienis Canon to his reboot meaning the upcoming Blue Beetle is still part of the old DCEU unless they add new scenes to establish its in Gunn verse.

I liked how this movie was a reference to all DC before it and passing the touch to the new reset
I like that reference to the Joker when they went to the batcave and he picked up that laughing joker bag in the timeline. I've remembered that from the original Batman (1989) w/Michael Keaton when The Joker fell to his death

@EmergencyAwesome interesting indirect Easter Egg reference with Clooney. In his Batman movie, Clooney made mention to O'Donnell at the beginning of that movie "This is why Superman works alone"
they need to learn to walk away from Miller.
I heard originally Keaton Batman and Supergirl were going to appear in the post credit (hence Batgirl being in this new universe). But I think they just threw Miller's Flash in the Clooney verse as a way of saying he's going to be recasted because I heavily doubt they want that Batman in the new DCU.
That was the original ending instead of Clooney it was Keaton and Supergirl who showed up outside the court house and this lead into the Batgirl movie with Keaton in the new timeline. Once WB changed course and decided not to release Batgirl this ending was then changed to a cameo from Henry as Superman to set up Man of Steel 2 since he returned in Black Adam. But after it was decide to fire Henry the ending was reshot again with the joke Clooney ending.

The run just looks too corny in my opinion with the swinging wide arms. I was like who actually runs like that. Even in the CW show Grant actually runs on a treadmill in earlier seasons up to season 5. And even though they only film the upward motion of his body in later seasons he still tries his best make sure we believe he’s actually running and not some swimming swaying arms slide to side nonscense 😂😂😂

Look at videos of speed skating ice skaters and you'll understand why Ezra Miller's Flash runs the way he does. The Flash is running so fast that he's literally ice speed skating on earth's surfaces.

Say what you want about draw miller but he absolutely kills it as the flash.I was worried about they hype but honestly it is one of the greatest superhero movies. They focus on Barry as a person an has depth and growth through the film. Everyone killed it as their characters. All in all best movie in The past decade.

One thing I didn't quite understand, how did Kara get stab. Was Zod's knife special or something. In Man Of Steel, they had to depower Kal to get his blood. In this movie, they just stab Kara like she didn't have super strong skin or something.
Zod's suit is made of Kryptonian material so it would be able to pierce a Kryptonian's skin.

All the stuff in the Kryptonian ship was made of Kyrptonian material, yet, they still needed to depower Kal to pierce his skin in Man Of Steel. Once Kal was expose to Earth's oxygen, he easily broke out of his Kryptonian restraint. So I don't see how it was any different in this movie.

Unlike Supergirl who was imprisoned for an unknown period of times, Clark was exposed to the Sun since the day he arrived on earth hence they need to de-power him first; while for Kara, they didn't need to as her being weaker.

My interpretation of the tooth falling out is that Barry moving the tomatoes to the top shelf still resulted in the events of the movie happening; he didn’t undo any of the alt timeline where he encounters his younger self. Had he been successful, he never would have had the experience of losing the tooth and gluing it back. And now he's created a new timeline with an alt Batman (and who knows what other changes). I think it was meant to be ironical and not just a visual gag due to his anxiety.

No, Aquaman 2 still takes place in the original justice league dceu. Superman Legacy is a different universe, which will become the DCU.

I think the soft reboot is that the concept of the multiverse means that Superman Legacy (and Blue Beetle based on recent James Gunn statements) can take place in a new timeline where certain characters and their histories (Suicide Squad members,Amanda Waller, perhaps Ezra Flash and Momoa Aquaman) can be the same, while others such as Batman and Superman can be very different.
It could also mean that the ultimate fate of the DCEU Barry is to live out his life in the new timeline he created where the
Clooney Batman and Momoa Aquaman are fellow Justice League members,and Barry has learned to just accept things
as they are.
If WB wants to use the Batfleck post credit scene for Aquaman 2, they can just say that it's the final movie of the Snyderverse.
If they want Momoa staying on as Aquaman, they can say that Aquaman 2 takes place in the new timeline where Clooney is
the Batman.
James Wann said they had to make a few changes to Aquaman in light of the changes at DC, so anything is possible.

Well no, because Barry tells young Barry this universe is doomed and there is no way to save it. Whatever they do, Zod will always destroy earth in that universe.
It's possible that the Michael Keaton Batman we saw in the Flash isn't the same one we're familiar with from the Tim Burton movies. You can have two very similar realities but with big differences.
It's not the original Keaton. This was just a version of him who happened to die due to a Kryptonian invasion.
